Spotted! New Wet n Wild Spoiled Nail Collection

Wow! Just minutes after I posted the link to Erika's post about this new collection from Wet n Wild, reader Mattie was nice enough to send me some pics of the display. Thank you SO much, Mattie, for these great photos!

It looks like there are 36 shades in this collection and as you can see, they retail for $1.99 each and are exclusive to CVS:

The lovely Erika over at Polish Fixation just let me know that there's a NEW polish collection from Wet n Wild that is surfacing at CVS. Here's what I know so far, thanks to Ericka:

The Wednesday Question

I don't know about you, but my feet despise cold weather. I feel like I'm in a constant battle against rough, dry heels during the wintertime, which has inspired me to ask you the following question:

What's your foot-care routine?

Mine is a three-part system. I use a Ped Egg about once a week. I also use my trusty Swedish Clover Foot File every other day in the shower. And at night, I slather on various creams and hope for the best. How about you?

Our lovely friends to the north seem to be getting many drugstore cosmetics collections first this year, and my lovely reader LMC1971 just shared another one with us! A closer look at the new Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips (with swatches)

This is definitely crazy season when it comes to drugstore makeup, so I thank you all for bearing with me while I try to keep track of everything! Spotted: New Physicians Formula Organic Wear Lash Boosting Mascara

You all know that I'm a HUGE fan of Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara, so when I got the scoop from readers Pam and Rach about a NEW version called Lash Boosting, I first jumped for joy, then scratched my head in bewilderment. I"m not exactly sure how Lash Boosting differs from Jumbo Lash in terms of its claims, but heck, I'll be trying it no matter what.

Spotted: new L'Oreal Color Riche Balm display

Yesterday I showed you a close-up pic of one of the new L'Oreal Balm tinted lip balms (similar to Revlon Lip Butters) but I want to apologize for getting the name wrong. These are not called "Le Balm" as I previously thought--the name is just "Balm".

Remember a few days ago when reader LMC1971 shared pics of the new Revlon eyeshadow quads she spotted in Canada? Well I mentioned in that post that there were also new liners at the bottom of that display and LMC1971 was kind enough to share close-ups of those as well! NOTE: these shadows and liners have recently been spotted at Rite Aids in the US (thanks to those who confirmed that) but keep in mind the prices on this display are CAD, so they'll be slightly different in the US.

CVS Beauty Clearance Sale (updated daily)

The first report of the CVS Beauty Clearance goes to reader @lauriahv who tweeted me on 12/4 that she spotted the sale at her local CVS!  Thanks so much, @lauriahv!

A FEW TIPS AND REMINDERS: 

• If you don't see clearance stickers or signs at your local CVS, take some products to the scanner and see if they come up on sale (many times, they will!).
• Some locations WILL accept coupons on clearance merchandise while others will not. It really depends on your particular location.
• If you see something on clearance at your local CVS that is NOT mentioned in this post, please leave a comment on this post so I can update the list.

 G's Answer: I honestly can't narrow this down! But I will say that three of my very favorite releases this year have been NYC Lip Stains, Revlon Lip Butters and the Wet n Wild Limited Edition Bloom collection nail polishes. But there are SO many more that I could list here (like the Milani Baked Blushes, Wet n Wild Go for the Gold collection, Physician's Formula Jumbo Lash Organic Wear Mascara, Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara, etc. etc. I could go on for hours!).

CVS shoppers: Not too much going on at CVS this week, but Revlon is buy 2 get $6 Extra Bucks, wich is always nice. And if you love Garnier skincare, almost everything is on sale (see below for details).

Rite Aid shoppers: In addition to the regular weekly sales, there's also a 4-DAY-SALE this week that runs from 12/7 - 12/10. Their $2.99 holiday cosmetics sets will be $2.99 with $2 +UP, making them just $0.99 each. If you haven't been to your local Rite Aid in a while, there are some fun nail polish sets and other sets on display right now, so don't forget to check those out--especially for $0.99. Also, don't forget the Season of Savings promotion! There are LOTS of great deals that qualify for this promotion this week, which I will clearly indicate below. PS: If you've been wanting that yummy Calgon Red Velvet Body Mist, it's BOGOFREE this week.

Walgreens shoppers: If you have the special Walgreens holiday coupon booklet (click here to see--it should be available at the beauty counter), there's a great chance to use the Revlon coupon this week for FREE Top Speed nail polish. Also, I've heard from several of you that the Salon Express Nail Stamping Kit (see my review here) has been spotted at various Walgreens locations recently. If you couldn't find it at Rite Aid or CVS, check your Wags! (Note: the plate designs seem to differ at Rite Aid though--see my post for more details.) Also, in the Walgreens weekly ad, there's a coupon for $1 off EcoTools. Now's the time to get that LE kabuki set!

I blogged about this here, but apparently I've gained some new followers in the past year that may have missed it. Just a reminder: if your local Bed Bath & Beyond doesn't carry the extensive makeup collections that you see in my posts, it's because your location does not have a Harmon inside of it. Harmon is a popular stand-alone beauty store on the East Coast which is also owned by BB&B. Many BB&B locations have a Harmon inside of them, aka a "store within a store", but some do NOT. To find the nearest BB&B/Harmon location in your area, please click here (be sure to check the box that says "HARMON FACE VALUES" before you perform your search).

Also, I've been told that BB&B/Harmon accepts manufacturer's coupons AND do competitive price-matching, so keep that in mind when you're shopping!

Spotted: New Maybelline SuperStay 10HR Stain Gloss & 14HR Lipstick

Remember in my last post when I said that the trend for 2012 drugstore makeup was long-wear? Well I meant that for lip color too. A huge thanks to reader LMC1971 for this sighting in Canada. I just checked the Walgreens site and both products are listed but, as of today, unavailable for purchase. Click here for the 10HR Stain Gloss and here for the 14HR Lipstick. Hopefully these will be available in the US very soon.

Spotted: New Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Eyeshadows & Master Precise Eyeliner Pens

Considering all of the new products I've shared with you in the last 24 hours, one thing is for certain: LONG-WEAR makeup is definitely the trend for 2012 drugstore cosmetics and I could not be any happier about that. My super oily skin thanks you, oh Makeup Gods!

Reader LMC1971, who is in Canada, spotted the new Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Eyeshadows and Master Precise Eyeliners and was kind enough to share (with some swatches!). Now, I don't know when these will be available in the US, or if they'll look exactly as they do in Canada, but it's DEFINITELY something to keep an eye out for, right?

UPDATE: thanks to Twitter follower @GiGiPronovost for this tip: the Color Tattoo shadows are currently up on the Walgreens website but as of today, they are unavailable for purchase. So that means they're coming to us soon, lovelies!

Breaking Beauty News: L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows in the US!

If you caught my post from back in June about the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows that were released earlier this year in Canada and Europe (and I think Asia as well), then you know I was seething with jealousy that we in the US did not get them. They're supposedly nice dupes for Armani Eyes To Kill shadows (click here for links to reviews and comparisons), and boy did I want some. Badly.

Well guess what? My lovely reader Ronda just spotted them at her Bed Bath & Beyond. In the US! Can you see me doing the happy dance through your computer screen right now? No? Well it sort of looks like a cross between the cabbage patch and the running man.
