Midwest ladies: I was at Meijer today and spotted both new WnW LE nail displays. Excited, but trying to restrain myself, I grabbed a few and went to glance through the other makeup to see if there were any sales. WNW products are 50% OFF this week! Upon seeing the sign, I naturally went back, grabbed the others I wanted, and called my fellow nail girl bestie to see if she wanted any. At 94 cents plus tax a piece, that was a pretty great deal. So if you live in the Midwest (but Michigan City, Indiana isn't home to your local Meijer, because I am happy to say I tore those displays up) I highly suggest checking that situation out.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Maybelline is 30% off this week (I believe it's eye, lip or face only with a couple exclusions in there--definitely no polish, sadly) and my store had the LE displays with tear-pad coupons...I purchased two of the LE shadows for $1.29 each, I believe.

and @krissy kat- i've seen those pails, but the ones i've seen at my cvs only has 7 nail polishes along with comes with all the other goodies you mentioned.
I could've sworn Essie's Braziliant collection was already out, but the release date is June.

Check the endcaps at your local Target, because I just set one at my store the other day that has the Braziliant collection, the Target exclusive NOPI spring colors, some LE Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure colors from the Prabal Gurung and Tracy Reese collections, and some core collection SH CSM and Essie colors.
Just an FYI I saw in my local CVS that they were having another get it before its gone sale. After speaking with an employee I was told that it was not going to be as large at the previous ones but it is going on. I saw that they had the Essie French collection on sale for 50% off, and I also picked up the Revlon Mineral Finishing powders for 75% off. I would check at my local CVS to see if you can also grab some of these items before their gone. Just make sure your scanning at the coupon centers and you might get surprised!

Just got back from CVS and picked up Essie's French collection for 50% off. Thanks to acmo4314's post. And i also stopped by my local grocery store and found the Wet n Wild LE eyeshadow trio and bronzer. Very excited. The eyeshadow is The Gilded Age and the bronzer is Everything Under the Sun.

ReplyDeleteI thought you'd love to know this, I was at my local Target today and I spotted 100% natural Lip Smackers chapsticks! They had acai berry, pink guava, and honeydew melon scents (I got the honeydew, which smells AMAZING!). On the package they say, "Made with olive oil & beeswax, with pure fruit esence, aloe, & vitamin e". The packaging is a really great cream and brown color combination that's on 60% recycled paper. It feels GREAT on the lips and it seems to be helping my poor chapped lips a lot! I think it's something that you'd like and maybe some other your other readers as well!

I went to Ross today and found Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail strips for $1.99! There were only two left when I went and they were both cheetah prints (the name is Kitty, Kitty #320). I've been wanting to use these but though $8-$9 was too much. $1.99 I can handle!

Hello there. Looove your blog. Anyways, this may be a regional thing, but in Northern Cal we have a chain called Grocery Outlet. It is like a discount food store with lots of awesome food/wine deals. Anyways, recently they have had tons of great beauty products.

Saw the summer Revlon polishes and shadow palette in the /permanent display/ at my Walmart (the new foundations are in there, too). I took pictures, but I'm on the way out the door to rescue a makeup package from spending the night alone at the UPS distribution center. I then rounded the corner and found the Revlon's Fashions Night Pout lipstick and Black With Envy nail polish!!! Been searching for them for months, gave up on it, and then it turned up. So this comment is more of a heads up for my NEW YORK CITY girls... check out Walgreens NOW if you were in search of these. We dont have Ulta in NYC so it was really hard to find these.... people think NY has everything but man does it suck for new drugstore makeup. ReplyDeleteRite Aid has there Almay Bright Eye Base + Concealer 75% off and if you look by the Almay wake up display they have some cards with a get the look thing on it and on the back it has a $2.00 off any Almay cosmetics coupon (manufacturers). I got two different colors of the concealer and paid .70 after tax. I only bought them here because I couldn't find them at my CVS.

ReplyDeleteI found some White Rain Naturals shampoos and conditioners at Albertson's today. 18 oz. For .89 each. Don't know if it's just a local thing or not but a good buy. Several scents, all smelled good, but in this 100+ weather here, I wanted something fruity. I got the pomegranate sorbet and apple blossom. I love a green apple scent but it's hard to find a good one. This one smells great.

Also, Bath & Body Works' semi-annual sale started over the weekend, and there are Signature Collection products selling for as long a $3, and a number of other items are 50% (including the True Blue line) and 75% off. There's also a BB&W online coupon that will take off an additional 20% off a $25 purchase. Lots of great deals!

Also, if you have coupons, the price will go down lower. There is a $1/1 coupon coming in this week's Sunday paper which would bring the total down to $9 for all three with just one coupon, or $3 each! Considering they retail twice that, thats a great deal! Also keep in mind that any money you spend on these will go towards Beauty Club totals!

All of the dollar tree's i've been to this last week have had the Maybelline dream mousse shadow's in LOTS of colors!!! I got two that still had $7.99 price tags on them!!! They were all sealed and once they were opened still looked amazing!! no drying out or cracking! I've been using them for over a week now with no creasing and only slight fading of color throughout the day!!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted let to you know that I found the new Cover Girl mascara-Lash Perfection at Rite-Aid yesterday. I have only tried it once but, so far, I like it. Very clump free & easy to do multiple coats. I know a lot of ladies like very black in color but I am a brown/black user so I won't be able to say anything about how 'black' the color is. Brush is spikey plastic and after applying my lashes looked natural not hard/crunchy. Nice length and volume.

I believe there are eight in total in the collection because there were eight of the trios they came out with not too long ago. I dont love it as an entire body wash, just for my private lady parts. Works great for that!! Hope not TMI! Just wanting to let all of the ladies know it is awesome for that!

HELP!!!! All of my CVS' in my city are no longer carrying NYC! I don't have a Rite Aid, Meijers or any other drugstore that carries NYC. I was really looking forward to the NYC Bronze Bliss Collection but I don't know where to look since my CVS was the only store to carry the collection.

ReplyDeleteI am a Texas girl and was recently at a local store that is know it carry overstock of various clothing brands and some of the older wet n wild products occasionally, along with cheaper makeup brands as well. So today I feel like I hit the jackpot because after not ever finding the 2010 holiday collection from wet n wild I found three of the four pallets. I was especially excited to find the very HTF night elf pallet that I had been wanting ever since I saw the first pics online. So just in case anyone had a Fallas Paredes near them you might want to check it out.

ReplyDeleteFunky Fingers has three crackle polishes out in black, silver, and white for $3/ea. The display at the store I was at (in Northern IL) was by the registers. I bought the silver and tried it out and it is pretty good and doesn't dry as clumpy as the Sally Hansen & Pure Ice crackles.
Also, I was shocked to see what looked like the entire line of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes for ONLY $3/EA!
Today I went to Walmart and found two new additions to the Lash Accelerator Mascara family by Rimmel. There's one called Volume Accelerator and Lash Serum! I also took some pics:)

@Angel: I found them at a Fallas Padres Near the Expressway in my city, I'm from deep south Texas. There were two to three of each color when I went last Monday. I paid 1.99 for it and it also had a tag on it form a store called mejer, I think that's how its spelled. So i assume it came from that store.
ReplyDeleteAs you may know, ulta has a 50% off sale all their ulta-brand cosmetics right now. I wanted to recommend the ulta lip crayon in "must have" to you specifically, because it's GORGEOUS sheer red - it's red, but also very neutral & wearable. I think you'd love it! It's only $4 right now.

I went to Rite-Aid today and I saw that they have these awesome 2-bundle polishes for only 1.99, when one of their polishes is 1.99 by itself. One of the polishes is a clear coat, while the other may depend. So, its sort've like you buy one get one free :) :)
ReplyDeleteI just found Hidden Treasure at Walgreens! it wasn't on sale or anything, but who cares?! It's HIDDEN TREASURE! It was just sitting there in a Sally Hansen display like it wasn't anything important. I almost died. I only saw one, but maybe the rest sold out. So check your Walgreens!

ReplyDeleteHI G. Hey, I know this is not a drug store brand, but the Kohl's Beauty Department and their FLIRT! line, are VERY reasonable for the quality you get. All products in the line (except for a things like the 40 shadow set at $29.99) are all $16.00 and under. The beauty department at Kohl's is all made by the Estee Lauder Companies and where can you get Estee Lauder, MAC,Origins, Clinique grade cosmetics for under $20.00??? FLIRT! shadows run $12.00, glosses $12.00, most mascaras $12.00, 2 are $14.00. If people are charge card holders with Kohls you can get at least 15% off with the coupons, and they have sales from time to time. Not sure if you are aware of this, as I am new here. Hope this gives people some info they may have not been aware of!! Your site is great! Keep up the good work!

ReplyDeleteJust came back from Rite-Aid and it was a yellow clearance heaven!! So many nail polishes were tagged with half off tags...and the ones that surprised me the most was....ESSIE!! The new Brazilliant line even!! So I was able to get two for the price of one! I have been wanting Absolutely Shore and I am so glad I waited. It wasn't just that line of Essie it was also the Wicked line. There was also lots of Revlon and Maybelline products on clearance as well. Hope others have the same clearance goodies I did! :)

ReplyDeleteHave I somehow missed a post on the new LE Maybelline lipsticks? I saw them and Meijer and didn't think I'd heard about them, but oh, man, are they neat-looking. They were in a display of four, and are called something like "Lip Pops"? The lipsticks are supposed to be sheer, and I couldn't resist opening a tube to find...they're SEE-THROUGH, like Jell-o or colored glass. I almost wanted to buy one just because they looked so cool.

Went to dollar store(99cents) this morning and spotted some Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Eyeshadow Quad, so I grabbed couple and a bronzer. They also had some lippies as well. I live in san diego. So who lives in san diego go check it out, for a buck that not bad.
ReplyDeleteJust came back from CVS. I saw a few NYC lipglosses, eyeshadow quads, and duos, blushable creme sticks and bronzers in the clearance section. I bought a mosaic bronzer for 2 bucks. =) Maybe they'll put the rest of the NYC products on clearance, but I don't know. Check your local CVS' ladies!

If you missed the Wet n' Wild Limited Edition Vanite Palettes and the Bloom Collections the first time around (because I know I didn't see them in any of the drugstores in my area, and I check them constantly) they've been popping up at various Ocean State Job Lots around the area. The price is pretty good too - $2.50 for the palettes and $1.50 for the polishes. So if you didn't snag them when they first came out, now's the chance! I hauled them myself and I had to share the joy. :)

G, if you're reading this, could you check with your contact at Prestige and find out what happened with these? Remember they were supposed to come out with another one at Christmas time, but it never happened and I wonder why? I was hoping they would come out with new ones seasonally, but it seems like they may have given up on them all together instead.

ReplyDeleteAlso, some L'Oreal is on clearance at my Rite Aid. All the liquid lip colors, all the jelly balms, a few HIP shadow duos, some of the mascaras. And I can't remember the rest, just go and check for the yellow tags at your Rite Aid (and have them scan those lip colors and jelly balms because they weren't all tagged at mine, but were in the system.)
Oh one more thing, at Smashbox there is a set that seems like it might be a good deal, it's called the Limitless Beauty Kit and includes a 5 color shadow palette, a blush, a gloss, an eyeliner, (all those are full size) and a travel size Photo Finish primer...for $39. I don't know much about Smashbox to know if it's worth it to buy this though and was hoping there's some fans here who could say. I just found a bunch of the LE Revlon Sweet Nothings polishes there and hauled massively - they don't look like much in the bottle but when layered over black? WOW....
ReplyDeleteWent into Walgreens yesterday and noticed an entire sections of those bright orange clearance stickers. Headed over and it was Jordana. ALL of their products were on clearance. Prices ranging from $0.17 to no more than ~$0.80!!! Some products I saw were lip liner, eye liner, and gloss.
ReplyDeleteso, I wandered into Payless today (it was next to Sallys, and I was checking for clearance stuff!) and I actually saw their makeup line. I wasn't too impressed until I saw a table next to the register, where they had some clearance stuff! The eyeshadow/lip gloss palettes (3 of each) were on sale for $2! There were 4 different ones. There was also some shimmery blush palettes for $3 and a nail polish trio for $3. I haven't tried them so I don't know the quality, but I figured for $2 it was worth a try (marked down from $10!)

I saw the new products from Rimmel at Walmart also today and I picked up the match perfection concealer and one of the new stay glossy lipglosses in a nude shade. I like the gloss but it is very sheer. But i will go back and get some darker shades. They are only 3.50 a piece at Walmart and the concealer was 4.97. I also saw a new Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara in CVS in a red tube.

I went looking for shoes but stumbled on a Too Faced end cap near the Chanel counter that ALSO was on clearance. I purchased the Naked Eye and Natural Eye palettes that retail for $36 (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P241303&categoryId=B70) for $10.50 each and a "Leopard Love" kit with their pink, bronze and peach leopard powders for $9.00. They also had a retractable kabuki brush, two smaller palettes, a mascara duo and the Smokey Eye palette on sale. Nothing was more expensive than $10.50 after the 40%.

ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday Morning in central east Florida has Laura Mercier lip glosses and lip glaces for $7.99 (discontinued colors?), Calvin Klein lip pencils, and a treasure trove of the discontinued Physicians Formula organic wear products, including glosses, bronzers, eyeshadow duos, mineral veils, loose powders, etc. I didn't look too closely at shades and prices on those, but I believe the bronzers and powders were $5.99, so presumably it was all around 50% off.
I tried looking through posts and comments on this page to see if this was old or new but last night i was in Rite Aid and saw a Sinful Colors collection i have never heard of. It's called Twirling (i know there is swirling, this isn't it). It was fully stocked. I plan on going back today and I will get pics and names if anyone wants them or haven't heard of the collection.

In each pack was a Shimmer Strips Eye Candy collection and the coordinating set of three 24 Wear eyeliners for that eye color. The display was completely full so I'm assuming it was just put out. I picked up the elf smoky eye-shadow pallet for 1.50 reg. 3.00, the elf beauty school 30 pan pallets volume 1 and 2 for 2.50 each reg. 5.00. The elf cream eye-shadow pallet for 1.50 reg 3.00. And last but certainly not least I found three of the WnW Dream Weavers trios. I got We'er Blasting Off, Earth Looks Small from Down Here, and Dancing in the Clouds all for 1.50 each. Was so glad to find these because I had been kicking myself for not getting backups when I first found the display. So if you live near a H.E.B. check out the makeup dept. for clearance. This makes me wonder whether the elf stuff at Target will be going on sale soon, since it's all the same collection that was for back to school, might want to check Target if you don't live in Texas.

ReplyDeleteI know this isn't really a 'deal', but as soon as I finished styling my hair today, I HAD to come post my thoughts on this new (at least new to me, as I've never seen it before) John Frieda product called "3 Day Straight"
This product is amazing! I love the Smooth products from John Frieda, but was completely underwhelmed with the new "Full Repair" line so when I saw this at Meijer the other day I had to try it, as it is part of the Smooth line. It sprays in like you would any other heat protector or leave in conditoner spray, and DOES NOT leave a film on your hair. Once your hair is blown dry you 'set' your hair with a flat iron and 'voila' This is the straightest and shiniest my over processed hair has been in months! It feels soft; I can run my fingers through it and no snags and doesn't feel weighed down or like it's coated in something. So for all you ladies out there that like to have straight hair, I urge you to give this a try, you'll love it.
Was at CVS today and by the Sally Hansen crackles there were stacks of handouts with a $1/1 manufacturers coupon:-) The crackles are not on sale right now but the coupons are good til the end of the year so you can probably grab one or two and save them for a sale or store coupon!

ReplyDeletei just wanted to let everyone know that i saw a new pure ice polish display today at walgreens. it was titled "halloween shades". there is even a clear top coat that glows in black light. the other colors were an orange, green, silver, regular top coat, purple, and blue. i dont know the shade names or if they are repromotes because i don't own any. but they are 1.99 each. i also spotted their crackle collection. it has lots of cool colors at the same price.

It was a Wet N Wild train case with 10 travel size products. 2 each lip stick, mascara, blush, nail polish and eyeshadow trio's. This is strange because my CVS doesn't carry WnW. It was 9.99 and inside was a $1.00 off coupon. It didn't list the names of the colors but since I think I have a lot of the products already I didn't get it. But, it would make a great gift especially for someone just starting out with makeup.

ReplyDeletei was at my local ocean state job lots store in portsmouth, nh today and they had a lot of wnw! i picked up some of their wild shine polishes for 88¢ apiece-- it appears that these shades were from an older halloween LE collection, but i'm not sure because google isn't turning up anything for me. the shades i got were: my very own vampire (black with gold shimmer), for-bitten love (black with turquoise-blue shimmer), make me immortal (black with purple shimmer), full moon rising (silver with shimmer), bloodlust (black with deep red shimmer), love bites (deep red shimmer), when the sun goes down (black with blue-gray shimmer), and my werewolf friend (medium blue shimmer).
ReplyDeletethey also had some of the megalast polishes from the LE bloom collection from this past spring ($1.50 apiece), and the vanite coloricon lip & eye palettes from this spring as well (i think they were $3 but don't quote me).

ReplyDeletePossible Deborah Lippmann dupes by Sephora by OPI. (I can't really judge because I've never actually seen Deborah Lippmann polishes in real life, just on blogs. $18 for a nail polish? No way am I letting myself get close to that temptation.) Specifically: Spark-tacular looks like a possible Happy Birthday dupe, and Traffic Stopper Copper looks like a possible Superstar dupe.

Hi G! Today at my BigLots (in Texas) I spotted lots of bottles of Revlon's LE Carbonite nail polish for only $1.50. Nothing seemed to be wrong with the polishes at all!

But on a clearance endcap at the back of the store I did find the Limited Edition Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Balms (SPF 15) for $1.99 in Pink Crystal and Clear Crystal. I also found the Limited Edition Maybelline Shine Sensational Sensational Pop Sticks in every color for only $1.62

I stopped by my local Walgreens (SW Ohio) looking for the new WNW beauty bar which I'm sad to say wasn't out yet. But I spotted a dispaly of Sinful Colors lip glosses! Had never seen them before, nice range of colors for $1.99. I got Blushing, a nice my lips but better color. Has a nice vanilla fragrance but no flavor, the texture was smooth & not sticky or overly tacky. Lasted about 3 hours.

ReplyDeleteI've been to two Walgreens today looking for WNW baked shadows (which I found!!!) I noticed that they have a lot of makeup on clearance. Revlon lipsticks, maybelline mineral blushes, various mascaras, and some milani lipsticks and nail art polishes!!
ReplyDeleteI was able to grab a Stila lipgloss set for $9.99 at Urban Outfitters. It has 8 .05 oz lipglosses in the colors: blush, guava, apricot, majesty, grapefruit, merry merry, seashell, and kitten. NYX Girls nail polish are also on clearance for 99 cents.
ReplyDeleteWent to CVS yesterday and noticed that a lot of Physician Formula makeup was on clearance i.e. bronzer for $3.99, mineral pressed powder $3.50, Bamboo press powders $3.50, Bronzer pearls/beads $4, etc. Most of the stuff were sold out though but I still saw the sale tags and it was all around $3. But these are clearance so they don't count towards the $10 purchase for $7 extra bucks perk.
