As far as I can tell, Sally Hansen released their new Airbrush Sun Gradual Tanning Lotion back in May (I think?). I'm guessing it was right around the time that they launched their new Airbrush Face Makeup (which I know a lot of your are loving right now). So why am I showing you this Airbrush Sun dipslay now, in October?

Spotted: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Duos 85% Off at Target

My pal @targetfanatic just tagged me on a crazy Target clearance find on Instagram HERE and I had to share because, 85% off! These are the full-size bottles (color and top coat) for $2.24; originally $14.99.

Be sure to scan these at the red scanner box if you don't see clearance stickers, because not all Targets are the same (they could still be 50% off or even full-price at your Target, but they could also be 85% off without any clearance stickers on the box...you never know until you scan!).

Spotted: Sally Hansen Fall 2015 Collections (Xtreme Wear, Miracle Gel and Complete Salon Manicure)

The Sally Hansen Fall 2015 collections are now starting to hit stores, and today I have three collections to share with you, thanks to my pal Amanda of Some Weird Sin (polish fanatics may know her from her Instagram, @blitherypoop).  Amanda spotted these displays at her local Wegmans last week, but I know that some of you have spotted some of these displays at Kmart and other retailers. Eventually, these should be at Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, etc. (if you haven't already seen them there). So let's take a look!

Note: I want to thank everyone who took the time to share Sally Hansen sightings with me over the past few weeks, whether it be through email or social media. I wish that I could feature all of your pics on the blog, but I'm very behind on new sightings post and I'm having a difficult time keeping track of each submission. Do you remember back in the early 2000s when Sally Hansen had an airbrush foundation called Fast and Flawless (discontinued around 2010)? If not, perhaps you might recall back in 2009 when Sally Hansen released their Carmindy Airbrush Spray Makeup (discontinued around 2013)?

@coreinna didn't see a price on this display , but I'm guessing it's in the $9.99+ ballpark. I can't find anything about this online yet, but I'm so curious if Sally Hansen has changed/improved the formula compared to the older versions. Also, it appears that there are twelve shades here (unless some of these are repeats).

NEW Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mauve Over: Get Marsala-tized for $2.99!

I'm sure that most of us need only to look within our own nail polish stashes to find a Marsala-type shade. The Pantone 2015 Color of the Year is really just a brownish-mauve that, quite frankly, wasn't really in fashion in the world of nail polish...until this year. I have plenty of brownish-mauve cremes lurking deep in the drawers of my polish collection, and most haven't seen the light of day in years.

But dusting those old polishes off didn't seem quite as fun to me, so when I saw a Marsala-esque shade in the new-for-2015 Sally Hansen Xtreme Wears at my local Rite Aid recently, that baby came straight home with me.

I realize that in some areas, and depending on the retailer, Xtreme Wears can retail for $4 or more, but I've seen them as low as $2.49 at Target, so I used $2.99 as the median price.

If you're a fan of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gels (I still have not tried them!) then you know that they're not cheap. Ulta and most drugstores sell them for $9.99 each and I've seen them at big box stores for around $7.99. But thanks to reader @3rdhouseontheright on Instagram, I have a great deal to share with you today:

Spotted: NEW Sally Hansen Spring 2015 Limited Edition Insta-Dri Collection

Before I get into this post, I want to acknowledge that my new Sally Hansen product sightings have been seriously lacking lately. I have a ton of pics, both that I took myself and also pics contributed from readers, of new permanent shades in the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, Complete Salon Manicure and Xtreme Wear lines. Since I'm quite behind on new product sightings posts at the moment, I've decided that I'm going to skip the new product sightings if the products are permanent, and just share with you new limited edition sightings and brand new products (not new shades within existing, permanent lines). So just keep in mind that there are LOTS of new, permanent shades in various Sally Hansen polish lines now surfacing, and those shades should make their way to the permanent displays soon. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Fall 2014 has officially arrived at the drugstores! Can you believe that the Sally Hansen Fall 2014 Limited Edition Designer Collection is already here? I always look forward to the Sally Hansen Spring and Fall Designer Series polishes, but the Fall collections are always a personal favorite. I've been covering these for a long time now, so it's fun to see how the collections have evolved over the years.

The Designer Collection for Fall 2014 is broken up into three categories: Fall Pastels, Glam Sequins and Dark Romance. There are also some nail files with a lace design and some Salon Effects that, according to the display, are made of real lace.

Sally Hansen responds to change in Pacific Blue

If you're not a nail polish fanatic and/or you missed my original post about this, please click here if you'd like to get up to speed on the recent change to the much-loved Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear shade, Pacific Blue.

Since the change, there have been literally hundreds and hundreds of posts on Instagram by fans all over the country (and world), expressing sadness and disappointment over the recent change to both the formula and color of this iconic shade. Don't believe me? Search the #pacificblue hashtag on Instagram to see for yourself (you can also scroll through the #pacificblue hashtag here if you're on a desktop and/or do not have Instagram. Today, Sally Hansen issued an official response to this change on their Instagram page. I wanted to share it here with you in case you're not on Instagram:

RIP Sally Hansen Pacific Blue

My dearest nail polish fanatics,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that our beloved Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Pacific Blue is bidding us a fond farewell. My dear friend Lois of Shades of Beauty Inc. shared THIS PHOTO with me today alerting me to the fact that Sally Hansen Pacific Blue as we know her and love her has changed. Some may say this change is for the better, but many of us loved our dear friend exactly the way she was--an exquisite, vibrant blue creme that spawned countless impersonators since her birth in 2009.

As they say, all good things must come to an end. And that end for Pacific Blue is a transformation into something deeper, darker and with a new-found shimmer (*gasp*). This is not the Pacific Blue that has brought such happiness to my fingers and toes over the years. This is something more akin to, as Lois pointed out, China Glaze Frostbite. Pretty? Yes. But this is not my Pacific Blue.

With that, I offer this condolence. It appears that this metamorphosis is still pretty new--only a few of you have mentioned spotting the new version in the marketplace. So you may be still be able to find back-ups of the original Pacific Blue at your local drugstores. If you find them, buy them. Pacific Blue is wildly popular within the polish community for a reason (just look at the 70+ comments on my Instagram post for proof). It's an exquisite formula and the color is so vibrant and alive...I dare say it's better than any other lookalike out there. It's the original, and it's a must-have for any polish collector.
