Exciting Rite Aid News (and December Video Values coupons)

I've got exciting news to share with my fellow Rite Aid shoppers today. If you have been a reader of this blog for a few years, then you know that every year I'm exciting about the special rewards that Rite Aid gives shoppers over the holidays. In past years, you've been able to accumulate store credit with select purchases and, at the end of the holiday season, redeem your earned credit in the form of a Rite Aid gift card. Well THIS year it's a WHOLE LOT EASIER and you won't have to remember to redeem your credit at the end of the season! 

"Season of Savings" Gives Rite Aid wellness+ Members Chance to Earn Up to $40 in Instant Rewards

Shoppers visiting any of Rite Aid's 4,700 brick-and-mortar stores can earn rewards through Season of Savings. Similar to Rite Aid's Gift of Savings programs in past years, Season of Savings rewards up to $40 in instant savings to customers who buy select products, which are marked with a red Savings Star on store shelf tags, in newspaper circular ads and online at www.riteaid.com. Select products change weekly.

Over four consecutive weeks ending Christmas Eve, customers who spend $50 on participating products can earn an instant $10 +UP Reward that is used like cash on a future Rite Aid purchase. Cumulative purchase totals appear on the bottom of register receipts and reset every Sunday. To qualify, shoppers must have a wellness+ loyalty card, which is free in stores and online at www.riteaid.com.

So in other words, from NOW until Christmas Eve, every week you'll have the opportunity to earn $10 in +UP Rewards. Every week, if you spend $50 on participating products (which will be clearly marked in-store and in the weekly circulars) you'll get $10 +UP on your receipt. The great part is that this is cumulative every week, so you have the entire week to hit the $50 mark (i.e., you don't have to spend $50 in one purchase--you've got a week to do it). Just remember: your purchases reset on SUNDAY, so if you're close to $50 on Saturday, you might want to pop in and hit $50 before your purchases reset for the next week.
