Ross Sightings
So I was at a local Ross last week and WOW, I hit the jackpot. I'm so excited to share what I found with you, because I've heard that some of you have also found these things in your area recently, which means there's an even better chance that YOU may them (fingers crossed). So let's get right into it!
NOTE: As always, you may also find these items at Marshalls, TJMaxx, or Burlington Coat Factory, so don't limit your search to Ross. All four retailers tend to carry similar inventory from time to time, so if you strike out at one, try another.

I found this five-pack of NYX Black Label Lipsticks for $7.99. What? I know! The Black Label Lipsticks are amazing and I really wish NYX hadn't discontinued them. For some reason I had it in my head that the retail price of these lipsticks was $5.99 each, but a quick Google search landed me on Phyrra's blog, where she confirmed that they were $7.25 a piece when still available. So yeah, you're basically getting five for the price of one if you find this set. (By the way, these sets are in a sealed bag--there's a lock on the zipper--so no tampering. Yay!)
Keep reading for the shades in this set, plus more Ross sightings...

Spotted: new makeup, beauty tools, nail polish, skincare and haircare (and dupe alerts)
Lots of new beauty products hitting drugstore shelves these days, and I'm doing my best to help us all keep up with them! It's exhausting when the seasons change and the new crop of products come in, but it's also very exciting...so much possibility and potential, right?
So let's start with CVS sightings!
Reader Amelania spotted a new CVS house brand dupe of L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base:

Ross sightings
It's been a long time since I've done a Ross, Marshalls or T.J. Maxx sighting, but when I was at a local Ross recently I spotted some goodies that I wanted to pass along. I realize that not all locations carry the exact same beauty products at the exact same time, but at least I can give you an idea of what to look out for, and HOPEFULLY you'll spot at least a few of these in your town (fingers crossed).
I spotted one of the Wet n Wild LE holiday kits for $4.99.

Spotted: new products (pic heavy)
PLEASE READ: As many of you know, I'm extremely behind on my blog due to recent family emergencies. If you have sent me photos/info about new products that I have NOT yet covered on this blog, please know that I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you sent info/pics about products I have already covered on this blog, I might not get back to you because I have received many emails/tweets/comments in the past few weeks about things I have already blogged about at length and I'm having a hard time keeping up at this time. Please know that I'm grateful for everything you take the time to send my way, but I'm only one person and I'm doing my best as time permits.
That said, I have accumulated many pics of my own over the past few weeks, which I'd like to share with you today (with more reader-submitted photos to come of other new products!). Some of you may have already seen these products in your local drugstores, but I'm posting them anyway because some readers live in remote areas and don't get things as quickly as others, and I just want EVERYONE to get an idea of what's out there.
So let's get started! All of the following products were spotted at Rite Aid:

Swatches: City Color GLO Collection Red Glitter Polish
When I first spotted the City Color GLO collection at Rite Aid, I gravitated toward the sparkly red shade (you can see the display with all of the shades in this collection here). A little while ago, City Color sent me this very polish for review, and today I'd like to show it to you in case you've had your eye on it as well:

The most complicated purple polish I own
Of all the polishes I've ever swatched on this blog, this City Color shade was, hand down, THE MOST DIFFICULT to capture in a photograph. Why? Well purples are notoriously difficult to capture on film to begin with, but then add in the fact that there's a very slight duochrome tendency to this color, coupled with the fact that it's shimmery and sparkly. Trying to get the essence of this shade in a photograph was impossible, so please please don't rely on one single photo to give you an idea of this color.
I'm going to refer to this polish as City Color Purple since these colors do not have names. I purchased this shade at Rite Aid for $1.99 and it's part of the Blue Moon Collection which you can see here.
First let's do a comparison with several other purple and blurple polishes I own. I tried to pick the ones that all have some sort of shimmer, sparkle or duochrome tendency to them.
I had no idea when I pulled all of these polishes that City Color Purple was going to look so blue (aka blurple) when compared to the rest of the shades. INDOORS, City Color Purple does not look this blue. It was only out in the bright sunlight that the blue popped.

City Color Glo Holiday 2011 Collection
City Color is a brand that's been stealing my heart lately when it comes to ridiculously affordable drugstore cosmetics. Found at Rite Aid (recently there have been Walgreens sightings as well), I still contend that City Color makes my favorite mint green polish of all time. Also, their pink jelly polish is the one that enabled me to do those Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop dupes a while back.
Recently I spotted the City Color Holiday 2011 collection, Glo, at Rite Aid (click here to see the nail colors). All of the products in the Glo collection retail for $2.99 each.
City Color was kind enough to send me a few products from the Glo collection recently, which I'd like to show you today.
First, here are the displays:

Spotted: tons of new nail products (pic heavy)
Before I get into this post, I want to mention that the lovely Polarbelle spotted some fantastic new nail products recently at the drugstore, so definitely check out her post here.
First up: I think everyone's seen the mini polish gift sets Wet n Wild releases each holiday season, but here's a NEW one I spotted at CVS and it could not be any cuter:
They're Fast Dry MINIS! How adorable, huh? I put a full-size Fast Dry polish in this pic for perspective:

Spotted at the drugstore: lots of new and seasonal products (pic heavy)
I've got lots and lots of new and fun Halloween goodies to show you today, all spotted at Walgreens by my pals Maria and Kimberly.
Unless otherwise stated, image credit for all of the following photos : Maria for Nouveau Cheap
First up, Kimberly spotted one of the Sinful Colors Halloween displays (no new shades here, but if you don't have access to all of the stripers, there are some in this display). There seem to be a few of these Halloween displays floating around in addition to the LE Crackles.

Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop: a budget-friendly DIY version
After I saw Scrangie's swatches of Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop, I wiped the drool from my chin and then realized that I might be able to recreate the LOOK of this polish (I'm not in any way, shape or form saying this is a perfect dupe) for much less money, using polishes I already had on hand.
Really, all you need is a pink jelly and one of the various multi-colored glitter polishes that are floating around at the drugstores these days to get something that mimics the look of Candy Shop (it's never going to be identical because just look at Scrangie's pics--it's a beauty!).
But for around $5 total (per look), I don't think I did too bad, considering that Candy Shop will set you back $42 since I believe it only comes in this trio.
I tried three different experiments for this post (excuse the cuticles).
For the first experiment, I used the new Wet n Wild LE polish Correction Tape (retail: $1.99) and my favorite milky pink jelly polish by City Colors (unnamed). City Colors polishes retail for $1.99 and can be found at Rite Aid (click here for a pic of the display).

Spotted: lots of new products and displays (pic heavy)
I've got some CVS, Target, Walmart and Rite Aid sightings for you today, lovelies!
First, it appears that several of you may have missed my post containing the info about the new Jesse's Girl baked palettes and 9-pan palettes, because I've been flooded with emails recently asking if I had any info about them. If you missed my post with the information I received directly from Jesse's Girl, PLEASE CLICK HERE.
As luck would have it I spotted the new 9-pans at a local Rite Aid the other day, so I wanted to give you a closer look at them:

Spotted at the drugstore: tons of new products
NEWS FLASH: While I was in the middle of writing this post, my wonderful Twitter pal @somecrazedlady told me that when she went to Rite Aid yesterday, she took some of the polishes I mentioned in my post yesterday (the LE polishes that I spotted for 50% off) to the register and had the cashier scan them. GUESS WHAT? Even though they were NOT marked on clearance at her Rite Aid, they came up as 50% off in the system! So I guess this is like the CVS clearance sale! So if you don't spot the clearance stickers on these products at your Rite Aid, ask them to scan them for you and see if they come up 50% off! Thanks so much, @somecrazedlady for the scoop!!
Dear readers, I apologize for the fact that I'm about to bombard you with new product posts. This is just one in a list of many to come. I have received so many wonderful pics from readers over the past few weeks, but I've fallen behind on my email and I'm just now sorting through them.
So for this first post, I've assembled new products that I've personally spotted at CVS, Rite Aid, and also my local grocery store. Hopefully you'll all be able to find these in your area soon (if you haven't spotted them already).
New Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Corrector
New Suave Black Raspberry + White Tea shampoo and conditioner
I've been waiting and waiting for this new Suave line to hit store shelves! In case you missed the press release I posted a while back about all of the new 2011 releases from Suave, here's the info on this line:

The new Bonne Bell makeup collection
I posted about this a while back, but this is the first time I've spotted it at Rite Aid. Also, note that there's a $1 off 2 products tear-pad coupon on the display:
New polish and Color Sensational lipstick shades from Maybelline
I think I might be the last person to finally spot this display in stores, but I was SO excited to see it after so many of you raved about it. If you like browns and nudes, you're going to love these new Color Sensational lipstick shades!
(I apologize that the names of the lipsticks are unreadable--I thought they would be more clear but I can't make them any sharper.)
Beige Glace, Taupeward
Autumn Leaves, On the Rum
Hedy's Ma.nish.ma Rainbow Lip Shines
Remember the Hedy's oki doki products (Sephora Tokidoki dupes) that I posted about a while back? Well they just released these new layered glosses at Rite Aid and I have to admit, they're super cute.
They're flavored, too.
And finally, I spotted this new Essie display at Rite Aid
I believe these are repromotes, because the dipslay contains the shade Wicked, which I know is not new. Anyway, as you can see, the colors are all dessert-type shades.
That's it for this drugstore sightings post--please check back soon for MUCH more!

Spotted: new makeup, nail polish, haircare and more (pic heavy)
I've got a TON to show and tell you about in this is post so let's not waste any time! Oh but I do want to mention before I get into the post that I realize some of you have already seen these products in your area and may not consider them brand new. Since drugstores across the US tend to put out their items at different times, I do posts like this because I know that not all of you may have access to these products yet. So I like for you to know what's out there and what's headed in your direction, if at all possible. And also, I consider something new if it's only been on the market for three months or less. Hope that makes sense!
First off, a few of you asked if I planned to post about the LE CoverGirl Clean Compacts, and I want to tell you that I actually spotted them about a month ago, but the display was already wiped out. As luck would have it, I stopped by an out-of-the-way Rite Aid today and stumbled across a FULL display, so here you go!

As you can see, your purchase of these LE compacts will help give clean water to a child in Africa, which is a excellent cause, of course! The compact itself contains the CoverGirl Clean pressed powder that is already part of the core collection; it's just the design of the package that's special. My display did not have any of the green ones, but you can see all three designs in the pic above.
I finally spotted the mini MegaLast sets, so I thought I'd show you both color options.
The new Brush-on in-Shower Hair Remover from Sally Hansen, which claims to have an odorless formula.
This comes in an extra strength formula for coarse hair, and a normal-to-sensitive formula.
Here's the new Nailene So Natural nail set. I thought it was interesting how it's just french tips with a clear, see-through nail bed. I'm VERY curious if you'll be able to see the glue on your nails since the nail bed is completely translucent.
The new Scunci Design Weaver looks interesting. Essentially these are very sheer strips of fabric that can be weaved into your hair. The fabric is pretty much netting--here's a closer look:
FINALLY, some of the new Sinful Colors shades have made their way Rite Aid:
I can tell you that Nirvana is in this display, as well as Savage and a few other new shades. I can't confirm that ALL of the shades in the Lone Star display are new--maybe one of you nail gals can confirm that?
Speaking of Sinful Colors, if you haven't seen the Polka Dots display at your Walgreens yet, Deuce Beauties has pics here. Oh, and ThatsSoFresh has swatches of the OTHER new Sinful Colors shades that you can only get at Meijer (so far).
Remember last week when I showed you pics of the new summer glosses from City Colors? Well I finally found the new bronzers (the ones in the back are the peacock bronzers, which are NOT new).
And I also found the new City Colors eyeshadow palettes, which are also part of the summer collection.
Here are the new Kiss Nail Artist kits. Some of them come with nail stencils, while others come with nail guides. Also, one of the three kits is limited edition.
I FINALLY spotted the new got2b Powder'ful Volumizing Powder that I mentioned in this post. You're supposed to sprinkle the powder on your roots and get instant volume in "10 seconds". I was surprised by how small the can was (0.35 ounces) and it retails for just under $7 at CVS.
And finally, I wanted to tell you Rite Aid shoppers that ALL Burt's Bees haircare is on clearance for 50% off right now.
And also the entire Smith & Vandiver Aromatherapaes collection is also 50% off, including the Spa Shower Tablets I reviewed for weheartthis!
Whew! That's it for this drugstore report. Thanks for reading, and I'd love to hear your thoughts about anything mentioned in this post.
