Spotted: Burt's Bees Holiday 2015 Limited Edition Mint Cocoa Lip Balm

Well what do we have here? A new holiday lip balm from Burt's Bees already landing in stores? This makes me wonder if Burt's Bees is going to bring back their limited edition Pumpkin Spice lip balm again this year? And will ChapStick bring back their Pumpkin Pie lip balm again this year? (You can see my review/comparison of those two lip balms from last year HERE.) Have any of you seen either of those balms in stores lately?

But back to this new holiday balm! Many thanks to my pal @tinybubblesfloating on Instagram for this sighting. She found this display at her local Rite Aid this week and kindly shared this pic:

Burt's Bees Holiday 2015 Limited Edition Mint Cocoa Lip Balm display at Rite Aid

@tinybubblesfloating mentioned that she wasn't wowed by this one, since she said it had sort of a fake chocolate scent to it. If you caught my review of the Burt's Bees Pumpkin Spice lip balm from last year (see link above), then you know that I much prefered ChapStick's Pumpkin Pie balm, on every level. So I guess I'm not going to get my hopes up about this Mint Cocoa one, but I will certainly purchase and review when I find it. Because you know me and LE lip balms. I have a sickness and the only cure is more cowbell lip balm! (If you're too young to know that reference, you owe it to yourself to search "SNL More Cowbell Skit" on YouTube. I've seen it a million times and it still kills me.)

Thanks again, @tinybubblesfloating, for the great sighting and pic!

Halloween 2015 Drugstore Beauty Sightings (Fantasy Makers by Wet n Wild, Fright Night, and Bonita Colors)

It's that time again, drugstore beauty lovers! Halloween 2015 has officially landed, and I have lots of fun sightings for you today thanks to three lovely readers. So let's get right to it and check out what the drugstores have in store for us this Halloween season.

First up, reader @kjeschon on Instagram spotted lots of Halloween 2015 displays at her local Rite Aid last week and kindly shared some pics with us:

(retail: $1.99 each)

The Fantasy Makers by Wet n Wild tombstone polishes are baaaack! This year we have a white, blood red, black, and glow-in-the-dark green. I think that's pretty much what we saw last year, but there COULD be additional shades in other displays this year--we'll have to wait and see!

A drugstore dupe for It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In? That's exactly what I asked myself about a month ago when I spotted this new it Haircare product sitting on the shelf at my local Rite Aid. So naturally, it went home with me, and I've been using it regularly for over four weeks now. So let's take a closer look, shall we?

Mother & Daughter Reader Swatches: NEW Black Radiance Limited Edition Perfect Tone SPF15 Lip Gloss Collection

With Mother's Day right around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to share some very special reader swatches from both a mother and a daughter! It brings so much joy to my heart to receive photo submissions like this--Anoninnyc not only submitted some photos of these new glosses from Black Radiance, but she also included swatches on both herself and her daughter, to illustrate how these glosses look on two different skintones. Take a look!

For those new to Black Radiance, this brand is made by Markwins (makers of Wet n Wild) and you can find Black Radiance products at select Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, Kmart and Walmart locations nationwide (Anoninnyc spotted this display at her local Rite Aid). You can also buy Black Radiance cosmetics on the Walgreens and Drugstore.com websites, although they do not usually carry limited edition collections like this.

Spotted: Wet n Wild Spring 2015 Limited Edition Silver Lake Collection Color Icon Blush & Glow Trios

4/18/15: Updated with additional photos (and swatches).

So I first showed you the Wet n Wild Silver Lake 6-Pan Eyeshadow Palettes back on February 9th. Then, I spotted the Silver Lake Megalast Nail Colors and posted pics of those on February 25th. After that, I think we all pretty much assumed that was it, right? Just shadows and polishes in this collection.

THINK AGAIN! My pal Emi of Project Swatch just spotted a third display yesterday at her local Rite Aid, and shared this pic with me on her Instagram:

Review: L'Oreal Mother's Day 2015 Colour Riche Collection Exclusive Matte Red Lipsticks

For Mother's Day 2015, L'Oreal has released a new Collection Exclusive containing matte red lipsticks and accompanying red nail polishes (I don't think the nail polishes are matte, but I didn't buy any so I cannot confirm that).

This display is now popping up at drugstores across the country, and I want to thank several of you for taking the time to share pics of this collection with me both via email and social media. I stumbled across the display myself (at Rite Aid) and also snapped some pics. I apologize for not sharing the pics that were submitted to me in this post, but I wanted to keep this as short as possible since I'll also be reviewing two of the lipsticks here today. Thanks again if you shared pics with me over the past few weeks--I truly appreciate it!

Before I get to my review of the two lipsticks I purchased, let's take a look at the display...

Spotted: NEW Sinful Colors Summer 2015 Street Fusion Tokyo Lights Collection

Alright, so here's the deal: I'm willing to bet that there's going to be a large Sinful Colors display that looks similar to THIS ONE, coming to your local Walgreens for Summer 2015. It will most likely be called "Street Fusion" and in that display, there will probably be three smaller collections including Bombay Nights, Tokyo Lights, which you're about to see, and another Street Fusion collection that we've yet to see (and perhaps some new Walgreens-exclusive shades that, again, we have yet to see). This seems to be the way that Sinful Colors likes to roll out their seasonal collections these days, so look out for a large Street Fusion display at your Walgreens soon (I'm guessing it will hit stores in late April or early May based on last summer's collection).

But if you live near a Rite Aid and you can't wait, the new Tokyo Nights collection has landed there (as well as Bombay Nights), and these collections are all under the umbrella of the new Street Fusion collection, which features both polishes and nail appliques (all $1.99 each). Many thanks to reader @lacqueredcubinican on Instagram for sharing these pics of the Tokyo Nights display that she just spotted at her local Rite Aid this week:

Spotted: NEW Bonita Colors Velvet Lip Creams

Did you know that Bonita Colors (maker of pretty nail polishes) is getting into the cosmetics game? I sure didn't! Thanks so much to may pal Emi of Project Swatch for this one. Emi spotted this display at her local Rite Aid today and let me steal it from her Instagram to share with you:

image credit: Project Swatch for Nouveau Cheap
NEW Bonita Colors Velvet Lip Creams
(retail: $2.99 each at Rite Aid)

As you can see, these are described as "A new innovative formula that applies like a lip gloss, dries to a rich matte color, and is as long lasting as a stain." You can't beat that price, right?

As luck would have it, I noticed that just a few hours ago, Bonita Colors posted a LIP SWATCH VIDEO HERE with swatches of all six shades in this range (if you don't have Instagram, you can still view this video--just wait for the "play" icon to pop up). If you don't have a Rite Aid in your area, Bonita Colors mentioned that these new lip colors will also be available via their website starting next week.

I for one can never get enough matte lip colors, so I'm pretty excited about these. How about you?

Thanks again, Emi, for letting me share you pic here!
