When I first spotted the City Color GLO collection at Rite Aid, I gravitated toward the sparkly red shade (you can see the display with all of the shades in this collection here). A little while ago, City Color sent me this very polish for review, and today I'd like to show it to you in case you've had your eye on it as well:
City Color GLO Collection polish in Reddish Purple
(retail: $1.99 each at Rite Aid, 0.17 oz)
Not really a name, but more of a description, the name on this bottle is "Reddish Purple". Also, please note that these are are smaller bottles. They are 0.17 oz (as opposed to a full-size bottle of City Color polish, which is 0.42 oz).
As with the glosses in the GLO collection, the polishes all have a little rhinestone on the lid:
True to its description, the glitter in this polish sometimes looks red, while in other lights it has more of a purplish hue. Here are some swatches taken in different lights:
All of the above swatches were taken after three coats and one layer of clear top coat. I found this polish to apply easily and it did not feel bumpy to the touch. It was still a touch streaky after two coats so I would suggest three coats for good opacity, since the base is sort of a charcoal-black jelly.
Do you own any City Color GLO collection polishes? If so, what shades do you own and how do you like them?

None of that polish around here. I do like this one you swatched. And I bet it is beautiful matted too.
