Review: New L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polishes from Dollar Tree (Matte Glitters and Milky Glitters)

As far as I can tell, the new crop of  L.A. Colors Color Craze shades first started to surface at Dollar Tree around January or February. I only recently have been able to find them at my local Dollar Trees, so I apologize if some of you don't consider these "new" but they're definitely new to me!

There were lots of new-to-me shades at my Dollar Tree a few weeks ago, but three matte glitters and one milky glitter came home with me. It's been quite a while since I reviewed any Color Craze nail polishes, so let's take a look at these babies!

L.A. Colors...at Target? Yes! A new, large, permanent display is now popping up in stores, and I have lots of pics to share with you today thanks to two lovely readers.

Spotted: L.A. Colors Holiday 2014 Gift Sets

I've you've seen my recent Holiday 2014 drugstore gift set posts, then you know that we're officially in "Look Up" season at the drugstores. In short, that means that the annual flood of beauty-related gift sets are now hitting drugstores, and sometimes you can only find them by looking up to the higher shelves outside of the beauty department. Retailers often run out of room in the beauty department for all of these types of sets, so search the entire store and don't forget look high up above the regular shelves.

I was "looking up" the other day at Rite Aid and spotted a ton of  L.A. Colors makeup and nail polish gift sets that I wanted to share with you (NOTE: these should also be popping up at other retailers--I don't believe any of these are exclusive to Rite Aid in case you don't have a Rite Aid in your town). So let's get to it!

Review: NEW L.A. Colors 6-Color Eyeshadow Palette in Haute

Lots of new L.A. Colors products have been popping up at Dollar Tree in the last few months, including new lip colors and shadows. I purchased a few of the new lip products and also this new 6-pan a couple of weeks ago, and today I'd like to share my thoughts with you (I'll be reviewing the lip products at a later date). L.A. Colors has also released a new Cover Up! Pro Concealer, which you can now find at Family Dollar. I don't have a Family Dollar in my area, so hopefully this shows up at Dollar Tree eventually. I can't wait to try it.

If you're unfamiliar with L.A. Colors, you can find a nice assortment of their products at Dollar Tree for, of course, $1 each. Lots of independent dollar stores and beauty supply stores also carry L.A. Colors, and Kmart has a nice selection as well (you can also occasionally find limited edition colections at Rite Aid). You can also purchase their products directly from the L.A. Colors website and also on Cherry Culture.

Spotted: New Beauty Products at Rite Aid, Walgreens and Bed Bath & Beyond

I have spotted several new-to-me beauty products over the last few weeks at Rite Aid, Walgreens and Bed Bath & Beyond, so I thought I'd put them all into one collective sightings post for you today.

NOTE: I realize that some of these products may not be brand new to you, but not everyone gets new products at the same time around the country, so I hope this helps those of you who may not have seen these products in your areas yet!

First up, at Rite Aid:

L.A. Colors 12-Pan Palettes

I think these 12-pans are also available at Kmart, but this is the first time I've seen them at Rite Aid.

Bonne Bell Sun Smacker SPF24 Lip Balms

I don't recall ever seeing these particular Sun Smacker 3-packs before (please correct me if I'm wrong!).

Spotted: L.A. Colors Flash Pop! Nail Polish Collection

I've been hearing about these nail polish duos for months now, and I'm delighted to tell you that they've finally landed in stores. Huge thanks to longtime photo-contributor Tara for this one. Tara spotted the L.A. Colors Flash Pop! Collection at Rite Aid recently and was nice enough to share some pics. Take a look!

My 10DollarMall.com haul (with a special alert for San Diego readers)

A little while ago, one of you either tweeted me, sent me a message on Facebook or left a comment here on the blog about 10dollarmall.com. If it was you, please leave a comment here so I can thank you! I meant to post your tip when I received it but, as often happens around here, thing got crazy with the new LE releases and I proceeded to lose control of my in-box. My apologies, and again please leave a comment here if it was you!

For those who don't know, 10dollarmall.com is a discount website for clothing, accessories and makeup. Right now they have a ton of NYX products on their website, and shipping is only $1.99 (free if you spend $50 or more).

And if you live in San Diego (like me), you may not be aware of this already, but all of the Everything Under $10 stores in the San Diego area have changed over to 10DollarMall.com retail locations! I visited a few of them here in San Diego over the weekend and I thought I'd share my haul with you in case you're in SD too.

Note: the items I'm about to show you are not on the website--they're in-store only. Sorry for those outside of San Diego, but you can get some of these items at other retailers and beauty supply stores, so hopefully it's still helpful!

Kleancolor Nail Lacquers in Chunky Holo Black, Chunky Holo Clover, Chunky Holo Bluebell, Nail to Toe Nail Art in Popping Green

I have no idea why that first shade is named Chunky Holo Black since there's no black in this color (as you will soon see). But anyway, the 10DollarMall.com locations in San Diego have a nice selection of Kleancolor polishes and a separate rack of Kleancolor Nail Art polishes in lots of colors and finishes. All of the Kleancolor polishes are $0.99 each.

Spotted at the drugstore: new holiday polish mini gift sets, fragrances and more

I mentioned a few days ago that I'm SUPER behind on new products sighting posts, so I'm getting the ball rolling with this post (expect another later today). I spotted some new displays at Rite Aid and also one at CVS recently so let's start with Rite Aid.

The Demeter Holiday 2012 display has landed and this winter's offerings include Patchouli, Jasmine and Dragon Fruit. I tried the tester of Dragon Fruit (not pictured) and it is yummy, but these don't really scream "holidays" to me, like the display from last year. So I'm wondering if there will be another display coming out in the next few weeks.

Dollar Tree sightings and haul (NYC, L.A. Colors, Maybelline, L'Oreal, CoverGirl and more)

Over the past year or two, Dollar Tree has really stepped up their game in terms of the variety of drugstore brand cosmetics you can find at any given time for, of course, $1 a piece. And now that they accept manufacturer's coupons, there's tons of opportunities to score free products, which is pretty amazing.

Last week I stopped by several Dollar Trees in my area and here's a summary of everything I spotted. I obviously can't guarantee that you'll find everything featured in this post at YOUR Dollar Tree, but it never hurts to look, right?

In fact: the LA Colors Value Kits I showed you back in June of 2011 still haven't shown up in my area, but I did find some similar palettes the other day and bought them all for a future review (I'll show you pics at the end of this post). And reader @JCRineer spotted a totally new-to-me L.A. Colors product that I'm super excited to show you as well, so keep reading for all the details...

Lots of new beauty products hitting drugstore shelves these days, and I'm doing my best to help us all keep up with them! It's exhausting when the seasons change and the new crop of products come in, but it's also very exciting...so much possibility and potential, right?

So let's start with CVS sightings!

Review: L.A. Colors 3 Color Eyeshadow in Water Lily

If you're looking for Dior-quality pressed shadows and you're trying to save a buck or 50, then I advise you to keep on movin'....nothing to see here! 

BUT, if you're on a very tight budget and you're looking for some fun and nicely-pigmented shadows in bright colors, then the new L.A Colors 3 Color Eyeshadows might satisfy your cravings while keeping your wallet intact.

These trios retail for $1 at Dollar Tree and even though they've got their issues, you might want to give them a whirl. Here are my thoughts about the trio Water Lily, which I picked up a few weeks back at my local Dollar Tree:
