Hot Aveeno Deal at Costco

A few weeks ago, reader @krazylove007 on Instagram shared this deal with me, and I'm so happy to be able to pass it along to you:

Right now at Costco, you can get a 3-pack of Aveeno Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Wipes for $7. As you probably know, just ONE pack of these wipes retails for about that price at most drugstores. I saw these at my Costco just yesterday (when I purchased the box pictured above) so this deal is definitely still out there!

As you might remember, my holy grail makeup towelettes are these wipes from Simple. However, I have seen many raves for these Aveeno wipes, which made me want to try them (especially at this price). I figured that if they don't work for me, I can always use them for removing makeup swatches from my hands and arms (hashtag: beautybloggerproblems). But I will of course review these for you after I've given them a proper testing.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass this tip along in case you love these. You can't beat $2.33 per pack (well, you probably can if you're an expert couponer, but you know what I mean!).

Thanks so much, @krazylove007, for the fantastic tip!

Review: Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

Over the years, I've sort of stuck to my favorite facial towelettes and really haven't explored too much when it comes to other brands (three or four years ago I think I was on a kick and reviewed several different brands, if you've been with me for a while and remember that!).

But over the last year or so, I have heard from several of you here on the blog and on social media who have been raving about these Simple wipes. So when I had the opportunity to receive some for review a while back, I jumped on it. I've been using these wipes for over four months now, and today I'd like to give you my verdict!

Your Guide to Wet n Wild 2015 (Complete List of New Wet n Wild & Fergie Products)

I've already done a few sightings and sneak peeks for you of some of the new 2015 products from Wet n Wild, but today I want to show you everything that's new for 2015, and that includes both Wet n Wild and Fergie products. Everything featured in this post is permanent (no limited edition products) and will be coming to a retailer near you soon (if you haven't already spotted some of these products in your area).

NOTE: The new Fergie products are Walgreens-exclusives, but the new Wet n Wild products are not exclusive to Walgreens and should eventually be available everywhere Wet n Wild is sold in your area. I'm working on getting you an official list of everything that's going to be discontinued for 2015, but right now I can only confirm a few items (I'll note them in the listings below).

Review: Yves Rocher Hydra Végétal Hydrating Micellar Water

As promised, today I'd like to review for you an affordable option when it comes to skincare's Next Big Thing here in the US: micellar waters. Yves Rocher makes a few different micellar waters, but this one seems to have the highest reviews, which is why I purchased it a few months ago. Read on for my thoughts!

NOTE: If you're new to micellar waters and you're not sure exactly what they are, I urge you to check out the second paragraph of my post HERE for a quick definition and some reference material to get you up to speed. Thanks!

Yves Rocher Végétal Hydrating Micellar Water 2 in 1
(retail: $14, 6.7 oz)

This product retails for $14 on the Yves Rocher website, but if often goes on sale (as of the time of this post, it is on sale for $4 on the Yves Rocher site HERE). If you're new to Yves Rocher, they frequently offer shipping deals, gifts with purchase and sitewide sales, so there will always be chances to save on this (and any) product on their site.

Spotted: NEW Simple Skincare Micellar Water

Well this is very exciting news. The new Simple Micellar Water has landed! I believe this is the very first Micellar water to hit the US at the mass-market level (La Roche-Posay has a micellar water that you can get at Ulta but it retails for around $20, and I wouldn't really consider that mass-market). L'Oreal and Garnier have micellar waters available in the UK and Canada, but I don't know of any mass-market/drugstore micellar waters in the US. Well, until NOW, that is!

Before I get into this sighting, I should back up in case you're new to micellar waters. For a quick definition, check out this article. According to Marie Claire UK, micellar waters originated in France in the 1990s and they were created to help Parisian women gently cleanse their faces (according to that Marie Claire UK article, Paris has "notoriously harsh water"). According to Best Health, micellar waters are "non-rinse, soap-free cleansing waters that contain micelle molecules" and they are generally applied with a cotton pad to cleanse the face and remove makeup.

Now that you're up to speed on micellar waters, let's take a look at this brand new one from Simple, shall we?

Spotted: NEW Products from Biore, Neutrogena, Garnier, Organix, Burt's Bees, Olay and More (PIC HEAVY)

Happy New Year, my lovelies! I thought I'd kick off 2015 with a big ol' new product sightings post for you today. In addition to all of the new 2015 makeup I've been covering for the past several weeks, new skincare, body care and haircare products are now starting to make their way into drugstores and big box stores, and I've got TONS to share with you thanks to some very lovely readers (I've also spotted some new things myself over the past week or so, which I'l be showing you in second).

I have so much to cram into this post that I want to apologize for not remembering all of the retailers and prices for these sightings--I received submissions from just about all of my social media channels and it was a little crazy trying to keep track of the details. But as we all know by now, all of these products should be showing up EVERYWHERE quite soon (if you haven't already seen them in your area) so just keep checking in with your usual retailers and be on the lookout.

First up, some new Biore Charcoal products:

Mindy spotted these products at her local Walgreens this week and kindly shared this pic with us. Spray lotion? Body balm? Cleansing Wipes? Yes, yes, yes!

Have you spotted the new Yes to Coconuts line in your area yet? I don't know what else may be part of this collection--a Google search led me to this link on the Yes To website that has since been taken down. I guess we'll have to wait a bit to see what else (if there is anything else) may be part of this new line!

Thanks so much, Mindy, for the great tip and pic!

Spotted: New Drugstore Beauty Products

Here's a collection of several new-for-2014 nail, body, skin and hair products that I have personally spotted over the past several weeks. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to alert me to any of these products via email, social media and here on the blog!

Oh! Before I forget, I just posted an update to my Sally Hansen Summer 2014 Limited Edition Salon Effects post. There are three additional designs in this collection, in addition to the four designs I originally showed you. Thanks to everyone who took the time to share info about those!

PLEASE NOTE: I understand that some of these products may not be considered brand new to you, and you may have already spotted them in your area (or even own them). But different retailers/regions receive things at different times, so please keep in mind that, for some of us, these are still quite new. Thanks for your understanding!

Review: Seventh Generation Lavender and Mandarin Facial Cloths

I'm a creature of habit when it comes to my towelettes, but when I see a good deal on a product that's piqued my interest, I can't say no!

When I first saw the Seventh Generation facial cloths, body lotions and body washes at Walgreens back in February, I was definitely curious. Until that point, I had known Seventh Generation as an eco-friendly household cleaning products brand, so I was excited to see them branch out into personal care.

But as usual, prices tend to make me pause, so instead of impulsively buying everything on the spot, I decided to wait for a good sale. Recently I spotted the facial wipes at a local discount store (Grocery Outlet) for $2.99 each, so I didn't hesitate to grab both varieties. These retail for $6.49 at Walgreens, by the way.

Review: Desert Essence 100% Pure Jojoba Oil

Over the years, several of you have mentioned that you like to use pure jojoba oil to remove your eye makeup. I've always loved jojoba as an ingredient in skincare and body care (it works so well to hydrate my skin) but I'm ashamed to say that, until I purchased this bottle of Desert Essence 100% Pure Jojoba Oil from iherb a while back, I actually had never used this oil in its purest form.

Desert Essence 100% Pure Jojoba Oil
(retail: around $10, 4.0 oz)

The four ounce bottle retails for $9.41 at iherb, but you can also purchase it directly from Desert Essence for $13.99 and they offer a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. They also have a store locator here, in case you want to try to find it locally.

And let me tell you, this is a serious multi-tasker that I now find myself reaching for constantly. In fact, check out the Desert Essence website here to view all of the ways you can use this product (scroll to the bottom of the page). You can remove makeup, hydrate your lips, moisturizer your cuticles, massage your scalp and so many other things with this one little oil.
