As with Walgreens yesterday, today I'd like to show you a sampling of the various Holiday 2015 collections and value sets that I've been seeing at Rite Aid over the past few weeks. I want to thank those of you who emailed and shared pics on social media of some of these products as well. I really appreciate that, and I'm sorry I can't include all of your pics here today (but please do not let that stop you from sending pics in the future! Thank you so much for your understanding during this crazy time of year!).
There are a ton of holiday sets at Rite Aid this year (it's Look Up Season, after all). Luckily for me, I had a friend of mine with me on a recent try to a local Rite Aid, so we were able to do double-duty with picture-taking! Oh, and I also want to mention that you can click on any of these pics for a super-size view.
So let's get started!
I totally dropped the ball on sharing pics of the annual Pumpkin Polishes at Rite Aid this year for Halloween, but I'm not going to let that happen with the Snowman Polishes. They're back!
I don't see any new shades this year, but please correct me if I'm wrong about that (you guys are so much better at spotting new shades in these collections than I am!).
I also want to mention that there's no sign of "Blue Cross" on this year's collections. For years, these polishes were made by Blue Cross, but now the labels just say "Cosmetic Industries, Inc." I am not sure, but I think that Blue Cross may have been a division of Cosmetic Industries Inc. At any rate, you can visit their website HERE for more info about the company and formulas (they make private label polishes for other brands as well, and their formulas are 5-free).
Next up, the Rite Aid Wet n Wild display for Holiday 2015:
You can see how this display compares to the Walgreens Wet n Wild/Fergie holiday display by clicking HERE. There are some repeats here, but some of these sets are exclusive to Rite Aid (and vice versa).
The set above is the one that will $0.99 on Black Friday.
I was surprised to see this South of France limited edition display at Rite Aid this year (I don't remember it being at Rite Aid last year?). These limited edition bar soap scents are NOT new (I bought them at my local Sprouts during Holiday 2014), but they are all wonderful and I highly recommend them. The scents are:
- Simmering Orange Cloves
- Frosted Evergreen
- Vanilla Creme Caramel
And last but not least, we have lots and lots of L.A. Colors Holiday 2015 gift sets. As you can see, Rite Aid got the "Berry Beauty" set this year ($4.99), while Walgreens got the Insta Glam set.
This mini polish set is the same set that's also at Big Lots right now, but it's different than the one at Walgreens.
I think that about covers it...for now! As always, I would love to hear if you've spotted anything noteworthy (not mentioned here) when it comes to holiday gift sets at your local Rite Aid this season. Please share with us in the comments below!
I have the la colors lip lust set and love it😄 I got it a few weeks ago from rite aid on a whim and am glad I did. These glosses are so pigmented....gorgeous colors for a great price
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ruth! I had my eye on that one!
DeleteSince you have it, can you tell me if that vampy color near the bottom is more of a deep red, or a deep purple on the lips? Thanks! :)
I have this set the deep color is a deep purple.
DeleteHi G:
DeleteI'm sorry for the late reply. I have swatches of the lipglosses on my Instagram page if u want to see them. The deep shade is a dark burgundy, I don't believe it's a purple at all. I'm under ruthjames28 on Instagram
I don't know why, but seeing these in sets makes them less desirable to me. Maybe I am a sucker for elaborate packaging.
ReplyDeleteOhhh! I have to get to Rite Aid for the Ferie NP set. The shimmery colors work great for stamping and I was looking for that green!!!!! The Lip Luster lip gloss set should probably be mine as well!!!!! Thanks for the photos!!
ReplyDeleteNothing here really catches me eye. Feels like it's all been done before. Thanks for the photos though.
ReplyDeleteI bought the Fergie Jet Set, opened it and promptly returned it. The blushes are the size of the eye shadows, they aren't the same size as the palette from a couple of years ago. Disappointing!
