CVS update

From here on out, I won't be writing a blog post every time I update the master list, so please check the direct link at the top of my blog for updates. I'll update the date and time every single time I make a change to the list.

But I DO want to let you know about something that the lovely Jeweled Thumb just alerted me to! At her CVS location, ALL Sally Hansen Beauty Tools were 75% off, including the newer ones in the orange and white packaging. So if you need some new clippers, etc, get over to CVS and start scanning!

I also added a few more shades and a new Bonne Bell/Lip Smackers sub-catagory to the master list today.

CVS Beauty Clearance Sale update

Just a quick note to let you know that I just updated the Master List based on all the wonderful information I have received from you in the past 24+ hours. I also visited a few CVS locations myself yesterday and contributed some things to the list (lots of PF and SH Carmindy info) that I personally saw on sale at my stores.

Thanks SO much for taking the time to contribute to this list--you have no idea how many people have been helped by your contributions!

A few more items:

• I believe that TOMORROW, 12/10, is the last day that you will have a chance to get the $3 off any Sally Hansen purchase coupon at the CVS red scanner box. I scanned my card yesterday and it printed out for me! I used it and ended up getting three Sally Hansen CLEARANCE polishes for a total of  $0.57!!! (I got 2 Xtreme Wears for $0.79 each and a Complete Salon Manicure polish for $1.99). So don't forget to scan your card and see if you get that coupon!

• Some of you have asked if I could do a blog post like I did for the Jordana/Milani Cyber Monday sale, where I listed the products that I personally love, just to give you some ideas about what to buy. I would be happy to do the same thing for the CVS Beauty Clearance sale, since there are MANY products I personally own and love that are currently on clearance right now. So please stay tuned for that post this weekend.

• IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST CVS BEAUTY CLEARANCE SALE EXPERIENCE, you may not understand that certain items or shades on my master list may not show up on clearance at your location (even when you scan them), but that DOES NOT mean they're not on clearance elsewhere. There were things last time around that never showed up on clearance at my local CVS locations, but SEVERAL readers found those particular products on clearance at THEIR locations. That's why it's crucial to scan before you buy.

UPDATE: It appears I spoke too soon. I don't see the BASE COAT available for purchase yet, and if you recall, the gel-like staying power requires both the top and base coats from this line. Also, I'm not 100% sure that all shades are available, but there are many listed.

Spotted in Canada: new Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel collection

Allow me to share with you how I first found out about this new Revlon ColorStay nail color collection. The other day on Twitter, Kari of Once Bitten sent me a tweet about how Leanne of The Lacquer Lounge had posted something about them. Then a few other lovely nail bloggers such as Jess of Polish Insomniac and Jacqui of The Scholarly Nail joined the convo and after that, I couldn't get them out of my mind. I mean, I love ColorStay, so the prospect of new ColorStay nail polish was just too much to think about.

And then literally that next day, my lovely Canadian reader LMC1971 shared the following info with me. Talk about timing, huh? I'm SO thrilled to be able to now share this with you!

NOTE: These were spotted in Canada (again!) and I do not know when they'll hit the US. Hopefully it will be VERY soon, as there look to be some beautiful cremes here (cremes are my favorite!):

I'd like to take a moment to answer some frequently asked questions about social media and newsletters and how they pertain to this blog. 

Twitter:

• I'm not going to lie: Twitter is my favorite form of social media and when I'm not working on the blog, I'm usually on my Twitter account. I love it because it's a great way to interact with YOU, and if you have a quick question you want a quick answer to, tweeting me is the way to go. I strive to answer all tweets within a 48-hour window (sometimes I fail, and I apologize for that) but I do love the immediacy of Twitter and I ADORE the friendships I've made and continue to make every single day with readers and those in the beauty community.

• If you follow me on twitter, you might have noticed that I deliver content there that you won't find on my blog. That's because whenever someone notifies me of a great sale, sighting, etc., I can spread that info with one click of my mouse. And if I don't have time in my schedule to blog about this info, at the very least I can share it with you on Twitter.

• Beware: I also tweet about non-beauty-related things on my Twitter account, but I do try to keep that to a minimum (although I fail at that sometimes too, because I just love to share).

Spotted! New Wet n Wild Spoiled Nail Collection

Wow! Just minutes after I posted the link to Erika's post about this new collection from Wet n Wild, reader Mattie was nice enough to send me some pics of the display. Thank you SO much, Mattie, for these great photos!

The lovely Erika over at Polish Fixation just let me know that there's a NEW polish collection from Wet n Wild that is surfacing at CVS. Here's what I know so far, thanks to Ericka:

• It's called Spoiled and it's a CVS-exclusive collection
• There's a Correction Tape dupe (or repromotion, whatever you'd like to call it)
• NEW BOTTLE DESIGN!
