Social Media & Newsletter FAQ

I'd like to take a moment to answer some frequently asked questions about social media and newsletters and how they pertain to this blog. 

Twitter:
  • I'm not going to lie: Twitter is my favorite form of social media and when I'm not working on the blog, I'm usually on my Twitter account. I love it because it's a great way to interact with YOU, and if you have a quick question you want a quick answer to, tweeting me is the way to go. I strive to answer all tweets within a 48-hour window (sometimes I fail, and I apologize for that) but I do love the immediacy of Twitter and I ADORE the friendships I've made and continue to make every single day with readers and those in the beauty community.
  • If you follow me on twitter, you might have noticed that I deliver content there that you won't find on my blog. That's because whenever someone notifies me of a great sale, sighting, etc., I can spread that info with one click of my mouse. And if I don't have time in my schedule to blog about this info, at the very least I can share it with you on Twitter.
  • Beware: I also tweet about non-beauty-related things on my Twitter account, but I do try to keep that to a minimum (although I fail at that sometimes too, because I just love to share).

Facebook:
  • Admittedly, I'm not as big of a Facebook person as I am a Twitter person but I'm trying! I'm just really late to the Facebook game and I still don't know exactly how it all works. However, if you are on Facebook and you'd like to be alerted to my new blog posts, like my page and you'll get them within moments of their publication. Also, if you ask me a question on Facebook, I'll try my best to respond (I'm getting better, I promise!)
  • Another thing that has recently happened on Facebook, which I LOVE, is that readers are asking questions not necessarily directed at me, but at readers in general. If you'd like to use my Facebook wall for this purpose, as long as it's beauty-related, PLEASE do! I love putting beauty lovers in touch with one another and if I can't answer a question (which often times I can't), I would LOVE for you all to be able to help each other. If my Facebook page facilitates that, then it's worth its weight in gold as far as I'm concerned.
Google+:
  • Nouveau Cheap has not yet joined the land of Google+, but I'm sure I'll eventually get there (but it might take me as long as it took me to join Facebook, which was a loooong time). Sorry!
Bloglovin':
  • There's a little "+" sign at the top of this blog that will take you to my Bloglovin' page. If you follow your favorite blogs via Bloglovin', you can follow me there too if you'd like.
Newsletter: 
  • At the top of this blog, there's a "Newsletter" link in the main menu bar. If you would like to get a daily email from me that contains a clickable listing of all of my blog posts for the day, just click that link and follow the instructions. I believe my Daily Email should hit your in-box at around midnight Pacific Time each night.
  • Also, if you would ever like to unsubscribe from my newsletter, there's a way to opt out at bottom of each Daily Email. I understand that people's interests come and go, so I want to be sure you know that you're never chained to getting that email in your in-box every day.
