Free deluxe sample of Sephora Collection 7-in-1 Full Action Mascara

Here's a fun little coupon you can use if you live near a Sephora that's inside JC Penney. Huge thanks to my awesome reader AffordableBeauty for this find:

(no purchase necessary)

Does anyone know what the "express service" is that you will also get with this coupon (in addition to the mascara)?

Thanks again, AffordableBeauty!

Spotted: new haircare products (MORE dry shampoos, sulfate-free products and more!)

Wow! We've been so focused on the newest makeup releases this year that I honestly didn't realize the avalanche of new haircare products that have recently hit drugstore shelves. I've got a TON of them to show you today, so if you love drugstore haircare, you're going to love this post (oh, and I'm throwing in a new eco-friendly hand wash too, at the very end of the post).

First off, yet ANOTHER new drugstore dry shampoo!

March Anthony 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo

There's a super-secret end cap at my local Rite Aid where they display all of the newest haircare products, and that's where I spotted this. Unfortunately, there are no prices on the shelves in this end-cap, so I don't have retail price info for you.

The box for this new Marc Anthony product actually opens up in the front, with a little velcro latch. It's pretty ornate for a dry shampoo to be packaged like this at the drugstore, don't ya think? Anyway, when you open the little door on the front of the box, a standard white can of aerosol dry shampoo is inside.

Here are some more new products that were also in this end-cap display:

Infusium 23 Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner

I LOVE Infusium 23 products, so I'm really excited about this new sulfate-free formula.

John Frieda Precision Foam Colour

John Frieda has entered the world of hair color!

Samy Twisted Curl Define Spray, Pomade Spray and Frizz Control Spray

Would you believe I have never tried a Samy haircare product? Do any of you enjoy this brand? Any recs?

L'Oreal Body Builder Mousse and Pumping Volume Spritz

L'Oreal Silky Curls Gel

John Frieda Anytime Volume Refresher

Finally, I spotted the new John Frieda dry shampoo, and look at the $1 coupons on the cans!

got2b Rockin' It Encore Hold Hairspray

Moving on to CVS, I spotted these new haircare products:

got2b Rockin' It Encore Fresh Dry Shampoo

Finally spotted the new got2be dry shampoo, and look! It's on sale this week for $3.99!

Argan Magic Intensive Hair Oil and Restoring Hair Mask
(retail: $9.99 each)

I think I mentioned in a previous post a while back that CVS was going to start carrying products from Argan Magic, but this was the first time I had actually seen them in the store.

Assorted FX products

These are not new products, but I just wanted to point out that the FX brand got a serious makeover and it's quite a change from their previous neon green, yellow and pink packaging. Also, was this brand always called FX Wild Harvest? I thought it was just "FX" back in the day? The new bottles remind me a lot of Bumble & Bumble, don't you agree?

Seventh Generation Hand Wash in Fresh Citrus and Just Clean (unscented)

And finally, I spotted new Seventh Generation HAND WASHES the other day at the grocery store, which was a big surprise to me since I believe they previously only made dish soap. Nice to see them branching out!

That's it for this drugstore sighting post. Do you see anything you're excited about trying? Have you already tried anything featured in this post? I'd love to hear from you!

Review: New Kiss Tinted Brow Gel & Pencil Duo

Without a doubt, my brows are the most problematic area of my face. I can deal with concealing redness and old acne scars, but if I'm having a bad brow day, forget it. I might as well lock myself up in my room until my brows decide to cooperate again.

As many of you know, I've been using Maybelline Define-A-Brow for quite some time on my brows, which has kind of stopped me from reviewing other brow products. But when I was recently asked if I'd like to review the brand new Kiss Tinted Brow Gel & Pencil Duo, I just couldn't say no.

Let me explain to you before we get into this review why I so desperately wanted to try this product. The gel end of this pencil is not your normal eyebrow gel. There is shimmer to the gel, and I've been reading about this "shimmery eyebrow trend" for a few years now with absolute fascination. Some say that shimmer can help make the brows look more defined, while I've heard others say that it actually can give your brows a more realistic look that mimics the hair on your head (varying shades of dark and light).

So let's take a look at how shimmery brows worked for me, shall we?

Kiss Tinted Brow Gel & Pencil Duo in Medium Brown
(retail: $6.48)

(enlarge this photo to see the shimmer)

To use this product, I apply the pencil side first, followed by the gel. Here are some swatches with before-and-after shots:

In the above photo, you can really see the shimmer in the gel. The "after" shot was taken after my standard rub-test, where I rub the swatches vigorously with my index finger for about ten seconds. Let me tell you, that brow gel is going NOWHERE. The part of the gel where you see it's sort of been "chipped away" was caused after I was determined to remove even a bit of this product (rubbing it with my finger removed nothing). I ended up using my fingernail to scrape it off my skin. So in other words, this gel stays put until you take it off (both the pencil and gel remove easily for me with a makeup towelette, by the way).

I'd also like to point out that this gel did an excellent job at keeping stray hairs in place. With the exception of a few stubborn hairs that even Super Glue would not be able to keep flat (hairs that literally grow perpendicular to my face), this gel worked some serious magic for me. My brows look quite tame and smooth when I use it, and for that I'm grateful.

Now let's take a look at some before-and-afters of my brows:

If you enlarge this photo, you can see (especially on the left) the shimmer in my brows. Guess what? I actually kind of love it! It tends to give my brows more depth, if you will, and it mimics the multi-colored hairs on my head a bit.

I asked Mr. G if he thought it was too over-the-top (he's the type to tell me if he thinks I'm wearing a bit too much makeup or if something looks just plain funky on my face, so I knew he'd really take a close look and evaluate this to the best of his abilities). He spent all day in the outdoors with me yesterday while I was wearing this product and every time I asked him his thoughts, he'd say, "No, your brows look really nice, actually." So there you go.

After wearing this product in a variety of different temperatures, I can confirm that it stays put on my oily skin (without flaking or fading) in temperatures varying from 85 degrees to 40 degrees (it's been a bit drastic in San Diego these past couple of weeks, so I was able to really give it a good test).

I'm not sure if I could wear the gel part of the pencil in more conservative environments (especially if the rest of my look consisted of matte shadows, matte blush and matte lip color), but on special occasions or if I'm doing a special shimmery or bronzey look, I would most certainly reach for this.

The pencil part of the product is worth the price alone. It's so smooth and pigmented, I find I don't have to press with any pressure whatsoever when applying the pencil to my brows. Unfortunately, the shade itself is so pigmented that it's a bit too dark for my current hair color, so I think I'd be better suited to the shade Blonde, as opposed to Medium Brown (it also comes in a third shade, Dark Brown).

Final Analysis: If you've been curious about the "shimmery eyebrow" trend of late, this product would be an excellent way of trying it out without breaking the bank. Instead of being gimmicky, I found both the gel and pencil to be of excellent quality, they're a cinch to use and both possess fantastic staying power. I think this a fun, and quite useful, new addition to the drugstore eyebrow product scene. I say give it a whirl if you're looking to jazz up your brows. I don't think you'll be disappointed by the quality of this product. Whether or not shimmer on your brows is for you, you'll have to decide on that yourself (or I can send Mr. G over to evaluate).

You can find Kiss Tinted Brow Gel & Pencil Duo at Walmart stores across the nation.

Do you own any eyebrow products from Kiss? How do you like them? Are you curious about this new gel/pencil duo?

New body washes from Caress and Suave

For some odd reason, my local grocery stores always seem to get the brand new body washes long before the drugstores or big box stores in my area. I'm totally not complaining though, because when they first offer new products, they often sell them for an "introductory price" that's a few dollars cheaper than the normal retail price.

I picked up a brand new body wash the other day that I'm VERY excited to share with you ( I'm testing it first because I'll do a formal review of it) but until then, I wanted to show you two other new body washes I spotted recently:

Caress Fine Fragrance Elixirs in Scarlett Blossom
(retail: around $4, 18 oz)

I noticed that this is already up on the drugstore.com site, but this was my first time seeing it in person. The scent description from drugstore.com:

Scarlet Blossom™ with Silky Fragrance Infusion™

Fragrance Pearls™ with the scent of Red Lychee and Patchouli Oil

Want to be enchanting without a spoken word?

Caress® Scarlet Blossom - a finely fragranced body wash infused with Fragrance Pearls which release the scent of Red Lychee and Patchouli Oil. This alluring fragrance, inspired by exotic blossoms at the peak of their bloom, lingers on your soft skin long after you step out of the shower.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if you're a fan of Bath & Body Works Black Amethyst, you are going to LOVE this new Caress body wash. To my nose, they smell similar, and if not identical, they're definitely in the same "family".

Next up:

Suave Body Wash in Milk & Honey Splash
(retail: around $1.99, 12 oz)

This also is already up on drugstore.com, but this was my first time seeing it in person.

From the drugstore.com site:

Milk & Honey Splash Body Wash enriched with milk proteins

Enriched with moisturizing milk proteins and the fresh scent of honey, Suave Creamy Naturals Milk & Honey Splash will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and delightfully fragrant.

Same great fragrance appeal as Bath & Body Works®*

Made in USA

*Compared to Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Shower Gel. Bath & Body Works is a registered trademark of Bath & Body Works Brand Management, Inc.

I don't get BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar when I smell this one, but I do get milk and honey, and not in that weird synthetic way that you get from other milk-and-honey body washes at the drugstore. This one seems a bit sweeter and creamier to me, and I really like it. I also really love the formula of Suave's creamy body washes (they work exceptionally well with my skin) so I will definitely be picking this one up.

Have you spotted either of these new body washes in your area yet? Do you own either one? How do you like them?

And the winner for favorite drugstore nail polish brand is...

The results are in! It's time to review the latest Nouveau Cheap Reader Poll, which is a poll I run for one full month and leave open for all readers to participate (thank you all so very much for voting!).

With over 1,600 votes, here are the results of the Favorite Drugstore Nail Polish Brand poll, as voted by YOU:

In first place with 354 votes:
OPI

In second place with 319 votes:
Sally Hansen

In third place with 172 votes:
Sinful Colors

Brands that also received a respectable amount of votes:

Wet n Wild (159 votes)

Revlon (118 votes)

Essie (113 votes)

Rounding out the bottom:

Jordana and Black Radiance (tied with 4 votes each)

Petites (2 votes)

CQ (1 vote)

When I created this poll, I tried very hard to include every brand of polish that I personally can find at the drugstore and/or big box store. But I noticed that 39 of you voted "other", and I'm very curious what polish brand your vote would have gone to if it had been listed! I'm thinking perhaps it would have been NYX, which I did not put on this poll because I have yet to find NYX nail polish at a drugstore or big box store (if you have, I'm jealous!).

The winner of this poll comes as no surprise to me. I was almost certain OPI would win, considering their enormous popularity in the beauty world. But what I did NOT expect was for Maybelline to score so low. Maybelline polishes are some of my favorites (especially their LE shades) so I was kind of sad to see them only earn 30 votes.

Do you find anything surprising in these results? How did YOUR favorite drugstore nail polish brand do?

PS: This month's poll is now up! We're tackling eyeshadow now, so please cast your vote!

Sneak Peek: new scents and products from Bath & Body Works

My wonderful reader Jessica really outdid herself with this one! It seems that Jessica lives in a BBW test market, so she has access to the newest scents and products before they're in wide-release across the nation (lucky girl!). So not only do I have a few photos to share with you of the new goodies, but I also have info that Jessica thoughtfully compiled based on her conversations with her local sales associate, and also info she saw on BBW's Facebook page. So I want to give a HUGE thanks to Jessica for doing all this wonderful work to compile this info for us. Thank you, thank you, sweetie!

Are you excited about these new BBW releases on the horizon? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

And another HUGE thanks to Jessica for all the amazing info!

Swatches: Revlon Grape Icy

I just have to brag for a moment about how much I paid (or did not pay) for this polish! Yesterday I went to CVS, and when I scanned my card at the red scanner box, I received an instant $3 off any Revlon purchase coupon. When I went over to the Revlon display, I noticed that the polishes were on sale for $3.99 with $3 back in Extra Bucks (remember, this was last week's sale). THIS week's sale is slightly different since Revlon polishes are $4.99 with $3 back in Extra Bucks.

So I decided to pick up Grape Icy, which I've had my eye on for a while now. When all was said and done, this polish was a money-maker!

In other words, I MADE two dollars by purchasing this polish!

Let's break that down:

I purchased one Revlon polish for $3.99 with $3 Extra Bucks.
Out of pocket I paid $0.99 because I had a $3 Revlon coupon
Then I received $3 back in Extra Bucks.
= I made $2 during this transaction!

So let's take a look at the polish CVS paid me to own, shall we?

The following pics were taken after three coats of Grape Icy with one layer of top coat:

Revlon Scented Polish in Grape Icy
(retail: $4.99)

The second picture is a tad more accurate in terms of color. This is such a gorgeous, deep violet-purple it almost makes me drool just to look at it. The shimmer in this polish reminds me the shimmer in Perplex, in that it has a lit-from-within quality that I just couldn't capture in a photo. This one's just warm enough to work my skintone and it would be in my top five purples of all time IF, it didn't have applications issues.

If you look closely at my middle finger, you'll see bubbling. And let me tell you, it was far worse the first time around. I had bubbling on all ten fingers the first time I used this one, so I had to remove the manicure and try again. The above photos were taken after round two, and you can see still bubbling on a few fingers.

The issue with this polish is that, if I apply it too thinly (to avoid bubbling) it is extremely sheer and streaky. So then the dilemma becomes: apply it thinly to avoid bubbles (and get streaks galore), or apply it more heavily for consistent opacity (and bubbles galore)?  I just couldn't find a middle-ground during application, but maybe with more practice it will become easier.

But that said, it's a stunning purple, and I'm VERY happy that I made money while buying this one.

Oh, and of course the fact that it smells like grape candy when it's on my nails is a definite bonus.

Do you own Grape Icy? Do you find it difficult to apply? Maybe I just got a bad bottle?

Free NYC product at Rite Aid this week!

[UPDATE: Thanks to my reader Taylor for letting me know that there's also a $1 NYC coupon in this month's edition of Cosmo!]

As if the deals this week at Rite Aid couldn't get any better, right?

Well if you have the $1 NYC coupon from February's All You Magazine (which you should be subscribing to if you're not already!), you can get either one free NYC product or two NYC products for just $0.99. Here's how:

Starting tomorrow (Sunday) all NYC products are BOGO1/2OFF and you get $1 +UP Reward when you purchase a product that's $1.99 or above.

So let's say you purchase two NYC In a New York Color Minute polishes, which are $1.99 each. Your total after the sale will be $2.99 for both items, and then with the $1 +UP Reward you're down to $1.99. And if you use the $1 All You coupon, that brings your total down to $0.99 for BOTH items.

OR, you could purchase just one $1.99 NYC product and receive a $1 +UP Reward, and then use your $1 coupon and get that product FOR FREE (pre-sales tax). Yay for freebies!

Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales!

It's that time again, lovelies! The weekly drugstore makeup sales are now up, thanks to Make-Up on the Cheap! Click here for the full list of all the makeup that's on sale starting tomorrow at the drugstores.

Let me just say that it's going to be a FANTASTIC week for Rite Aid shoppers (more on that in a bit). But let's start with the biggies at CVS and Wags (remember: to see all of my picks for best drugstore deals of the week, click here):
  • At CVS, Revlon nail polish is $4.99 with $3 Extra Bucks, so basically $1.99 for nail polish! Also, Revlon lip and mascara products are $7.49 with $4 Extra Bucks, so $3.49 for a new Revlon lippie or mascara isn't too bad at all, right? Of course it's even better if you have coupons.
  • Not much to report about Walgreens this week, BUT, if you've been wanting to try those new Broadway Nails nail wraps I reviewed here (retail: $5.99-$6.99), Broadway and Kiss kits and accessories are all 50% off this week. AND, my lovely reader, coco_fiere, spotted $1 tear-pad coupons near the display, so ask your Beauty Advisor if she has some before you make a purchase!
  • Now let's get to Rite Aid. First and foremost, ALL CoverGirl cosmetics are 40% off this week! This would be a most excellent time to use the CoverGirl coupons that were in last Sunday's P&G insert I told you about last week. Heck, even without a coupon it would be a great time to pick up some Natureluxe foundation, Gloss Balms or Lip Perfection lipsticks!
  • Also at Rite Aid, all Revlon, Sally Hansen, Borghese, Jesse's Girl and Sinful Colors nail polishes are BOGO1/2OFF with $2 +UP Rewards when you buy two. Let's break that down, shall we? Let's say you wanted two Sinful Colors polishes, which are $1.99 each. With the sale, that takes it down to $2.99 for two polishes, and then with +UP Rewards, you're looking at $0.99 for two polishes. Sweet.
  • But the biggest eye-popping deal this week at Rite Aid resides inside the weekly circular (which you can grab in-store if you don't get it in the mail). OH. MY. GOODNESS. There are a TON of in-ad beauty coupons this week that you can STACK with manufacturer's coupons if you have them! Here's just a partial list of what you'll find (click here to see all of them):
$3 off Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Makeup
(you can combine this with a peelie coupon if there's one on the box, OR the $1 PF coupon that was in last Sunday's newspaper!)

$5.25 off L'Oreal True Match foundation, blush, Finish & Glow
(you can combine this with the $2 coupon on the L'Oreal website!)

$2 off Aveeno shampoo or conditioner

$2 off L'Oreal Eversleek, EverStrong, EverPure or Elnett
(you can combine this with the $1 coupon on the L'Oreal website)

$2 off Sally Hansen Beauty Tool of $5 or more

And one more thing: the L'Oreal Go 360 Clean deal I told you about in this post actually starts on March 13th, not tomorrow as I had previously stated. Sorry for the mix-up!

Happy shopping!

New facial products from Freeman

It's been a while since I've used a Freeman skincare product, but I have to admit, these new offerings are tempting!

(from drugstorenews.com)

NEW YORK — Freeman Beauty's Feeling Beautiful line is expanding with three new products.

New to the collection are:
Each product retails for $3.99, the company said.

Are you a Freeman fan? What Freeman products have you tried? Are you curious about these new offerings?

New e.l.f. and Hard Candy products!

With all the new 2011 products surfacing lately, it's not a surprise that I can't cover them all here on this blog. But thank GOODNESS some of my lovely fellow bloggers have been kind enough to give me the heads-up about the newest e.l.f. and Hardy Candy releases now available at Target (e.l.f.) and Walmart (Hard Candy).

You can view the newest e.l.f. offerings (including limited edition products) over on Mason Jars and Fireflies here. I REALLY want that Summer Ready Nail Polish Collection!

And check out all the latest releases from Hard Candy (including Fox in a Box, which looks to me like a Benefit Sugarbomb dupe) over at NeutraKris here.

Thanks so much to these lovely bloggers for the heads-up and great info!

Spring nails with Rimmel Sunset Orange and Posh Pink

One of my dearest friends sent me a bunch of fun nail polishes a while back, and I thought it would be fun to do a two-tone look using two of the bright Rimmel polishes she gave to me.  Taking inspiration from the scotch tape master herself, the amazing Chloe, I came up with this design:

 Rimmel Sunset Orange

 Rimmel Posh Pink

My camera has a difficult time capturing bright colors, so Posh Pink isn't coming across as the true hot pink it is in real life. But that said, the photos taken outside (the last two photos above) are pretty close. What I like about this combo is that, from a distance, you can't really tell I'm wearing two colors on my nails. You sort of have to look closely, and I like that type of subtly, especially since each shade is so bright on its own.

I've said it before but I think it deserves repeating: I LOVE Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro brushes! They are flat and wide, but not too wide, and the tip of the brush is rounded so beautifully--it really makes painting your nails a snap and I find I have very little clean-up required (if any at all) whenever I use a Rimmel polish.

Posh Pink is a true creme polish and it required two coats for perfect opacity. Sunset Orange is a gorgeous orange with a hint of coral to it. It is a jelly and it required three coats for good opacity. In fact, even though I don't own any of the OPI Texas Collection shades, I'm thinking that Sunset Orange may be a nice dupe of OPI Guy Meets Gal-Veston. Check out Amber's swatches here if you'd like to see that shade. Of course I don't own the OPI shade so I can't be sure, but if any of you own both shades, please let me know if they're similar?

Do you own any Rimmel polishes? What are you favorite shades?

I know that there are a ton of EcoTools lovers who read this blog (myself included!) so I wanted to be sure you knew exactly what was now available at Walmart, including a new Walmart-exclusive brush set.

Breaking Coupon News: Red Plum and Smart Source to join forces

This just in!

(from drugstorenews.com)

...two of the biggest names in the world of conventional coupon distribution have joined forces on a cross-publishing agreement that would result in the expansion of digital offers on both companies’ websites.

The deal involves Valassis and its RedPlum coupon distribution brand and News America Marketing’s SmartSource coupon distribution brand allowing digital coupons to appear on each others' sites. It is said to greatly expand the offers available to deal-seeking consumers.

The RedPlum and SmartSource names are well-known to shoppers because the collection of coupons contained in their branded products often fall out of the Sunday newspaper at the same time. They also operate websites where consumes can sign up to receive coupons based on their interests. RedPlum operates Redplum.com and Save.com, while News America has its SmartSource.com site.

The cross-publishing arrangement is the first time Valassis and News America have worked together, and the winners in this case obviously are the consumers who get more, but also the consumer goods companies that are able to share their incentive offers with a broader market.

Coupon lovers: what do you think of this news? I know that we've seen the same coupons offered on various sites in the past, so I'm wondering how this news is a truly going to change or improve RedPlum and SmartSource. I guess only time will tell. Thoughts?

My new favorite hand soap: Target Up & Up Coconut Cranberry Premium Hand Soap

As most of you know, I'm a hand soap fanatic. I probably review too many hand soaps on this blog, but I just cannot ever have enough. To me, hand soap is one of those things where my philosophy is, "You have to use it anyway, so why not make it fun?" I can't stand boring hand soaps and I'm constantly on the quest for new and unique fragrances to make hand-washing more enjoyable.

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon the new Target house brand (Up & Up) collection of Premium Hand Soaps and I was instantly attracted to the cute, square bottles. And then I saw the fragrance Cranberry Coconut and I knew I had to buy it:

Target Up & Up Premium Hand Soap in Coconut Cranberry
(retail: $1.74, 12 oz)

I think that under two bucks for 12 oz of product is a great deal as far as hand soaps go. Heck, I know I've paid WAY more than that for smaller bottles of hand soap.

As for the scent, I don't recall ever seeing the combination of cranberry and coconut in a hand soap before. But guess what? It TOTALLY works! Right when you think the cranberry note is smelling too "Christmasy", the coconut kicks in and gives it more of a "beachy" feel. This is one mouthwatering combo that I was scared was going to be a disaster. Surprise! It's amazing. If you like sweet, tart, tropical fragrances, I think you'll love this. And if you're a cranberry lover, you definitely need to try this one.

As for the soap itself, I find that one pump is all I need for a good, clean hand-washing. It lathers easily and rinses clean with no issues. I also like the way my hands feel after I use this soap--clean, but soft and not dry or tight.

I also would like to mention that the pump on this bottle is a step above the standard cheapie pumps that you see in a lot of inexpensive hand soaps. This pump has a nice, smooth motion and it doesn't feel flimsy in the slightest.

All I can say at this point is: BRAVO, Tar-jay! I think this is a wonderful little hand soap with a unique fragrance in a well-designed bottle. The soap itself is of nice quality and you sure can't beat the price. This one's sitting on my kitchen sink proudly!

Do you use any Target Up & Up products? What are your favorites? Do you think you'll give this soap a whirl?

Tina Turnbow
Eco-friendly Celebrity Makeup Artist

No two faces are precisely alike. Each face possesses a set of unique features that are meant to be illuminated, rather than wiped away. This is the belief that drives Tina Turnbow's work as a makeup artist, and has made her one of the most sought after talents in the industry today.

Tina is at the forefront of a generation of makeup artists who recognize that with an expansive palette and growing number of products to choose from, less can truly be more. As the past spokesperson for Beauty.com and a blogger for the New York Times, Tina has brought her modern aesthetic to an even wider audience, offering her expertise of over a decade working with the best photographers and designers in the business. As the daughter of a hairdresser and salon aesthetician on the shores of Lake Michigan, Tina developed an instinct and affection for an individual's unique beauty at an early age.

Years spent sketching friends and family led her to the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago, where she focused on her love of painting and drawing before moving into cosmetics at the age of 24. Tina assisted such legends as Pat McGrath, Jeanine Lobell, and Lucia Pieroni through which she developed a versatile style that celebrates the strength of a woman's face, the unusual and sometimes unexpected perfection of a nose, eyes, or lips. Because of her interest in the environment and women's health, she supports green and eco-friendly cosmetics and skin care.

Currently a resident of downtown Manhattan, Tina's Midwestern earthiness and generosity, with her unabashed love of film and fashion, is still reflected in her work: luminous, unpretentious, and bold. She has created looks for assorted publications and she has collaborated with a wide range of fashion photographers including Gilles Bensimon, Arthur Elgort, and Raymond Meier.

Tina also continues to work with an ever expanding list of celebrities who have come to depend on her loyalty, honesty, and remarkable talent, including Claire Danes, Mary Louise Parker, Jessica Szohr, Ivanka Trump, Amanda Peet, Rachel Weisz, and Joan Allen among many others.
