(Note: This is not this month's issue--this is the April 2010 issue)
If you don't subscribe to All You (which you can do easily by visiting Amazon, AllYou.com or your favorite magazine subscription site) or you don't pick up your monthly copy at Walmart (I believe this is currently the only place you can find it), I'd just like to take a moment to say that you're really missing out on some great deals, steals, freebies and money-saving tips.
Each and every issue of All You contains enough great coupons to more than pay for itself. And the coupons are for things the majority of us enjoy and buy on a regular basis, which is always great. In July's issue (which I just received in the mail last week) there is a coupon for $2 off any Rimmel bronzer, and also a $1 off coupon for any Infusium haircare product (I'm going to be reviewing an Infusium conditioner very soon, and I am LOVING it!). On the non-beauty side, there is a $1 Haagen Dazs coupon, which personally will come in handy the next time my local grocery store has a 2/$5 sale (it seems that grocery stores are running this sale more and more these days, don't you think?). I especially love Haagen Dazs's Five line of ice creams that all contain just five ingredients (my fave is Mint...yummy). Anyway, those are just a few examples of the types of coupons you can find in this magazine but, trust me, there are many many coupons in each and every issue.
Another thing I'm loving about All You is their website. I've mentioned it a zillion times on this blog (I even have a link to it in my left-hand sidebar) but I just can't help myself from repeating it. Not only do they always have a great assortment of beauty-related printable coupons, but they also have a page to sign up for free samples, and lots of times the free sample of the day is beauty-related! Yesterday's free sample was Nivea Body Lotion, and today's (June 15) is a Bodycology fragrance sample (Cherry Blossom or Cucumber Melon). And by the way, lots of times the free sample offers last longer than 24 hours, so definitely click on past free samples to see if they're still active. I just noticed that there was a Borba Age-Defying Concentrate sample posted on June 10th and it's still available, so if you see something you want, give it a try and see if you can still get it.
And finally, don't forget to check out All You's Blog for even more great deals, coupons and freebie offers (today they posted a link to get $2 off Neutrogena sunscreen).
If this all seems like a lot to keep track of, you can add any of All You's features to your RSS reader (click here to see all options). I've added my favorite features to my Google Reader and it has really prevented me from missing out on some great deals.
Are you new to the wonders of All You, or did I just tell what you already know?
PS: Speaking of coupons, has anyone else noticed that the Red Plum mailer (if you receive it in your area) has really been sucking lately? Some weeks I don't get it at all (it used to come every week without exception) and other weeks there are no good beauty coupons to found in the entire mailer. This week's Red Plum did have a good $1 coupon on Stridex products though, so I'll finally be able to try this out.
You're lucky, my red plum sucks all the time.
ReplyDeleteYES, my Red Plum (which usually rocks) has been beauty-poor lately! (plus i am on a no-buy until i use up at least 3 shadows, 2 lippes, and one blush. the only thing i need to buy soon is more concealer- my current one is a very small one. but i am not buying a new one til i'm well and truly out of the infallible one because i want to see how long such a small stick will last.)

I'm glad I found a fellow All You lover! =) I didn't realize they offered subscriptions though so I will definitely be visiting Amazon.com to check that out - thanks R!
ReplyDeleteI just checked out thier website for the free samples after reading this and you can get two free trial issues. It was a popup that came on the site! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe only reason I subscribed to All You was because of your post about it in April... now I'm a happy subscriber and thought about you when my issue arrived the other day!

You can get a discounted subscription through magfundraising.com - $15 for 1 year or $20 for 2 years, and 40% goes to a charity - you can choose one or use the one they are featuring. After hearing about all the great coupons, I subscribed at the end of April and just got my first issue (July). I think I heard about this deal at Southern Savers (http://www.southernsavers.com/2010/04/all-you-magazine-83%C2%A2-an-issue/).
