Nordstrom Rack Haul & Sightings (Pic Heavy)

A few days ago I stopped by some Nordstrom Rack locations here in San Diego, so I wanted to show you what I found, and also what I purchased!

I pretty much owe this entire post to my pal Lisa (@makeuplunchanddinner on Instagram) since she was the one who told me that Laura Mercier bath and body products have recently started to pop up at Nordstrom Rack. If you're a longtime reader of this blog, then you know that I have a serious weakness for bath and body products, and I'm a longtime fan of Laura Mercier bath and body products in particular. But they are quite expensive (I once made a bottle of Creme Brulee Body Wash last for two years because I treated it like liquid gold!). So yeah, when Lisa told me that some items were at The Rack for 50% off retail? You know I headed for the door, car keys in hand, ready for the hunt!

But before we get to what I purchased, let's take a look at the other goodies I spotted...

My Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale Haul

I posted about the BBW Semi-Annual Sale right after Christmas when it first began, but to commemorate the last day of this sale (it ends today, 1/19, both in-store and online), I thought I would show you the one and only haul I made this time around. Over the years, I've become more discriminating when it comes to my BBW sale hauls and I avoid buying things "just because it's a great deal." I try to only buy things that I really, truly want and love, and it's rare that I take a chance or stock up on something that I only feel moderately excited about (believe me, this wasn't always the case!).

Some of the items here are now sold-out online, but you might still be able to find them in-store, in case you want to stop by your local store for one last round of savings after work or school tonight! And remember that you can always buy discontinued BBW items on eBay if you really want them (just be sure to check the seller's feedback before purchasing).

NEW from Dove: Go Fresh Mandarin & Tiare Flower

Longtime readers know that I love my Dove body washes and bar soaps (my two favorites are Pistachio Cream & Magnolia and Pomegranate & Lemon Verbena), so when reader Meagan on Facebook let me know that Dove has just released a new scent, well, you know I had to share!

The new Dove Go Fresh Mandarin & Tiare is now up on the Dove website HERE, and it's available for purchase at Drugstore.com HERE and Walgreens.com HERE. So far, it looks like this scent is available in both body wash and bar soap, but I'm not sure about it being released as a deodorant (yet). 

I'm both a huge citrus fan and a huge tiare flower fan (you know how much I love that Yves Rocher tiare perfume I reviewed a while back!) so this sounds like a match made in heaven to me. If you've seen this in-store anywhere and given it a sniff, I would absolutely love to hear from you. I haven't seen it in person yet but I'm officially on the hunt!

New from Olay: Fresh Outlast "Farmer's Market-Inspired" Body Washes and Bar Soaps

So I was catching up on my drugstore news over the holidays and noticed this interesting article on Happi.com about the new Olay Fresh Outlast Collection of body washes and bar soaps. After some digging, I was able to find additional images online of these products (some of which are already available for purchase online; the entire line should be debuting in stores in February). Check it out:

Champagne Mango & White Ginger, Orchid & Black Currant,

White Strawberry & Mint, Pear & Fuji Apple

According to the article I linked to above, these new body washes and bar soaps are “farmer’s market-inspired” and "lower in sulfates and contain three times more mild cleansers than before, plus they are formulated to work with skin’s natural pH. The bars contain 10 times more moisturizer than regular soap for smoother skin." 

Interesting side-note: also according to that article, Olay teamed up with Food Network star Ingrid Hoffmann to create four exclusive recipes inspired by each of the new fragrances. I'm sure we'll hear more about that once these products hit stores and the ad campaign begins.

Vitabath Holiday 2014 Limited Edition Body Wash and Body Lotion Collection

You know I'm a huge fan of Vitabath products (found at Ulta, Kmart, Rite Aid and other retailers). I think I've blown through five or six bottles of their Cupcake Couture Luscious Lemon Créme Moisturizing Body Wash since my review in August of 2013. I swear I could drink that stuff it's so yummy. ANYWAY, I just wanted to let you know that when I was on the Vitabath website yesterday, I spotted their holiday goodies for 2014, so of course I had to share:

Rimmel Exaggerage Eye Definer 

New shades: Rich Brown, Blackest Black, In the Nude

I spotted some shades of Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definers, which were part of a larger display featuring the new-ish Rockin' Curves Mascara at Walgreens. I don't know how new Rich Brown and Blackest Black are, but I believe that In the Nude is pretty new (I think it debuted in July/August).

Coming to a CVS Near You: NEW Essence of Beauty Naturally Indulgent Bath & Body Collection

Attention CVS fans! Did you know that this month, CVS is releasing a new line of Essence of Beauty bath and body products that are "free of parabens, sulfates, phtalates, petroleum and artificial dyes"? This new line is also "not tested on animals" and it's "made in the USA" according to the press info I received below.

There are three different fragrance families in the new Essence of Beauty Naturally Indulgent Bath & Body Collection: Lemon Verbena with Olive Oil, Lavender with Rosemary Oil and Eucalyptus with Mint Oil.

Spotted at Big Lots: Sephora X Nail Colors (and more)

Some exciting news today for my fellow Big Lots shoppers! Before I get to the sightings/haul, I want to mention that Big Lots posted this coupon for college students only to save $10 off any $50 purchase, valid today only (8/16). Sorry for the late notice, but I just heard about it when I saw it mentioned on Big Lots' Instagram page today, so I thought I'd share!

The most exciting news today is from reader @tonyamoniques on Instagram, who just spotted this at her local Big Lots:

Sephora X Nail Colors at Big Lots

(Big Lots price: $2.50 each, 0.33 oz)

This makes perfect sense to me, since we all know that Big Lots also sold Sephora by OPI polishes (click here to see the Sephora by OPI polishes that I received directly from Big Lots). These Sephora X polishes are in the old-style bottles from circa 2012 (proof) and I think that some of the shades above were from their 2012 The Cosmics collection. Exciting, right?

I'm asking my contact at Big Lots for more info on how widespread this may be and I'll get back to you if/when I get more info. Hopefully this will be like the Sephora by OPI polishes and you'll be able to find these nationwide at all Big Lots locations!

Spotted: NEW Suave Moroccan Infusion & Natural Infusion Body Washes

Spotted: New Beauty Products at Rite Aid, Walgreens and Bed Bath & Beyond

I have spotted several new-to-me beauty products over the last few weeks at Rite Aid, Walgreens and Bed Bath & Beyond, so I thought I'd put them all into one collective sightings post for you today.

NOTE: I realize that some of these products may not be brand new to you, but not everyone gets new products at the same time around the country, so I hope this helps those of you who may not have seen these products in your areas yet!

First up, at Rite Aid:
