Review: NEW Pacifica Tunisian Jasmine Lime Perfume Roll-On
I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this here on the blog but, when it comes perfume, Mr. G's all-time favorite of everything in my embarrassingly-large collection is Pacifica Tunisian Jasmine. And naturally, Pacifica discontinued that fragrance a while back (Murphy's Law, right?). This devastated me, because I also love this fragrance--it smells just like you're holding a bouquet of fresh jasmine flowers while standing on a breezy, white sand beach.
ANYWAY, when I first saw Pacifica post about their newest fragrance on Instagram, I mentally jumped for joy. Tunisian Jasmine Lime? I mean, lime is one of my favorite notes of all time! Could the addition of citrus actually improve the original? Make it a bit tart? More complex? So many questions.
When I saw that this fragrance was available on the Ulta website (it's also available in-store), I immediately clicked "add to bag" and waited impatiently for it to arrive. So now that I've had it for a few weeks, I'd love to share my opinion with you...

Guess What Bath & Body Works is Bringing Back?
I think this is going to make some of my fellow BBW fans happy:

Bath & Body Works is bringing back the following scents, all in new, updated packaging:
White Tea & Ginger
Country Apple
Cucumber Melon
Pearberry
Juniper Breeze
Plumeria
I know, based on comments I've received on previous BBW posts, that many of you were hoping they would bring some of these scents back, so I'm happy to tell you it's happening. I don't know exactly when (the email from BBW just said "coming soon").
If you had the power to bring back other scents from BBW, what would you bring back? I think my top picks would be Vanilla Noir, Citrus Watermint, Berry Vanilla, Mango Sorbetto, Rice Flower & Shea, Honeyed Almond, Grape Parfait, Key Lime Cooler, Flowering Herbs, Grapefruit Jasmine, Toasted Hazelnut, Orange Blossom, Limelight, Crystal Blue Waters...I could go on and on.

But hey, I'm glad these classics are coming back since it gives us old-timers a chance to revisit them, and new fans a chance to try them!

Nordstrom Rack Haul & Sightings (Pic Heavy)
A few days ago I stopped by some Nordstrom Rack locations here in San Diego, so I wanted to show you what I found, and also what I purchased!
I pretty much owe this entire post to my pal Lisa (@makeuplunchanddinner on Instagram) since she was the one who told me that Laura Mercier bath and body products have recently started to pop up at Nordstrom Rack. If you're a longtime reader of this blog, then you know that I have a serious weakness for bath and body products, and I'm a longtime fan of Laura Mercier bath and body products in particular. But they are quite expensive (I once made a bottle of Creme Brulee Body Wash last for two years because I treated it like liquid gold!). So yeah, when Lisa told me that some items were at The Rack for 50% off retail? You know I headed for the door, car keys in hand, ready for the hunt!
But before we get to what I purchased, let's take a look at the other goodies I spotted...
First up, I spotted lots of Smashbox Holiday 2014 stuff for 50% off retail.
Keep reading for lots of additional sightings, and pics of my haul...

Budget Fragrance Find: Truth or Dare Naked by Madonna
As someone who is constantly on a tight budget, and who also has a serious perfume addiction, you learn to be resourceful. Beautiful, budget-friendly fragrances aren't always easy to find, especially if you are tired of the usual selections at mall stores and discount stores. Sometimes you have to research and dig deep to find quality fragrances that won't break the bank and, coupled with a bit of luck, you sometimes stumble across something wonderful. I encounter stinkers sometimes (figuratively and literally) that don't always match up to their online reviews, but every once in a while I stumble across a true, budget-friendly, hidden gem. And when I find a gem like this, I naturally have to share it with you!
Truth or Dare Naked by Madonna
(retail: around $15 on Amazon & eBay, 1.7 oz)

So I Took a Chance on an Inexpensive Perfume from the Discount Store...
I'm a fragrance addict, and I do not discriminate. I love everything from drugstore body mists to boutique fragrances and I honestly only have one thing on my mind when I sniff a fragrance: does it appeal to me? If the answer is "Yes!" then I don't care about the brand.
That said, you know I'm always looking for a good deal. I often find popular, expensive fragrances at discount retailers like TJMaxx, Ross, Marshalls and Burlington Coat Factory (those places are a goldmine for fragrance junkies since things are often more than 50% off retail). When I was at Burlington Coat Factory a few weeks ago, this fragrance caught my eye and I decided to take a chance on it....
