Many thanks to my pal Amanda of Pretty Girl Science blog for this one. Amanda spotted the Fall 2014 Designer Collection at Bed Bath and Beyond this week, and was nice enough to share some pics with us:

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Limited Edition Fall 2014 NYFW Designer Collection
The Designer Collection for Fall 2014 is broken up into three categories: Fall Pastels, Glam Sequins and Dark Romance. There are also some nail files with a lace design and some Salon Effects that, according to the display, are made of real lace.
NOTE: After some googling, I was able to place only six of the shades in this display with the appropriate designer. If I was able to confirm the designer, you'll see the designer's name right after the shade name below.
Fall Pastels:

Cute-ture, In the Flesh, Somber Bliss (Tracy Reese), Himalaya (Prabal Gurung), On the Mango
Those limited edition nail files look similar to the Revlon Marchesa Collection beauty tools from earlier this year, don't they?
Glam Sequins:

Shattered Stars (Tracy Reese), Chili Flakes (Tracy Reese), Pink Dream, Golden Rust, Vintage Confetti
A closer look at four of the Glam Sequins polishes:

Amanda confirmed that the first two shades on the left contain shards. I'm excited to finally see Chili Flakes! I can't remember if I blogged about this or shared it on Instagram (or both?), but several months ago I remember posting a sneak-peek pic from Tracy Reese about this shade and, if I remember correctly, she was inspired by her favorite spice when creating this polish.
Dark Romance:
Rupee Red (Prabal Gurung), Ever Green, Dark Knight, Rhododendron (Prabal Gurung), Moulin Rose
Again, the Salon Effects in this collection are apparently made with real lace (according to the display).
Have you spotted the CSM Fall 2014 Designer Collection in your area yet? Thoughts?
Thanks again, Amanda, for the great sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!
Wow this collection looks gorgeous :) x
ReplyDeleteI like this line and they always release some really pretty limited edition colors. my only gripe with them is that $8 is kind of steep for a drugstore polish
ReplyDeletePretty nice! I'll look for these during the next sale.
ReplyDeleteI love those muted colors.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteAre the glam sequins glitters or flake polishes?
ReplyDeleteThe first two contain shards, not flakes. Not sure about the others, but they look like they could be a combo of both glitters and flakes. :)
DeleteHey G! Thanks for sharing these photos! I have been waiting (like everyone else), since first seeing the shades on twitter back in February!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to mention: I think at least two of the three other glitter shades (Pink Dream, Golden Rust, and Vintage Confetti) are Sally Hansen + Rodarte shades. I could be completely wrong, but at least 2 of those shades look like the same polishes Sally Hansen tweeted on Feb 12 as being part of their collaboration shades?
Aaah, thank you so much, Cyan! It's all coming back to me now! :)
DeleteSo many pretties. annnnd there goes my wallet. Oh just take it already....killing me here, lol
ReplyDeleteI like the glitter and flake type polishes, but I doubt I'll be buying any of them. Like an earlier commenter stated, the price on these is quite steep for a drugstore brand.
ReplyDeleteCVS had this display yesterday. I took 6 of the polishes. All 5 the glitters and a Burgundy. I'll come back with names later...
ReplyDeleteBOGO 50%, meaning 25% off 2, I got 2 $10 off extra bucks. Later today I will to back and return/repurchase and use my $20 bucks. My store sells this stuff for $8.99 each non-sale. Rite Aid sells it for $7.79. And I don't even want to think about the markup.
