As we get closer to the end of the year (can you believe it's almost time for my annual Cheapie Awards??), I thought it might be fun to list my top ten most popular blog posts of 2011. If you're a new or occasional reader of this blog, you might have missed these so I hope you find this helpful!
The ranking of the following posts was determined based on the number of page hits received between Jan. 1st 2011 and November 14th 2011. Some of these reviews may have been written in 2010 or 2009, however they have received the most page hits in 2011.
#10: My $10 Nail Polish Storage System
#9: Wet n Wild dupes of the Urban Decay Naked Palette
#8: Review: Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia
#7: Review: CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation
#6: Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters: official information and swatches
#5: The Wednesday Question (the popularity of this particular question surprised me!)
#4: Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop: a budget-friendly DIY version
#3: Review: TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo Review
#2: Nouveau Cheap Exclusive: your first look at the new Wet n Wild 8-pans
#1: New Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy and Morocaan Argan Oil Collections
Note: the #1 most popular post isn't necessarily most popular because of what I wrote; it's popular because many, many readers who have used the Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy products have left very helpful comments about their experiences in the comments section. I still receive comments on this post to this day, so be sure to read through them if you're thinking about using these products!
I would also like to mention a few posts that answer popular questions I tend to receive on this blog quite regularly. In case you missed them the first time around:
Do you have a favorite post from this year? I'm always looking for feedback as to what you, my amazing readers, like to read, so if you have a favorite or you'd like to see more of a particular type of post, please feel free to let me know in the comments. Thanks so much!
