The embossed pattern on this product looks a lot like the new Revlon palettes, but the packaging is SO LUXE! The package itself is brown faux suede, and there's a little gold tassel on it too. Also, there's a full-size mirror inside and it comes with a brush as well. LOVING this!
Also in this display is the new Glow-Boosting Sun Stones. I'm SO happy to see these are actually loose beads, and not just a pressed powder that looks like beads. The colors of the "stones" are gorgeous in person.
So, what do you think of these new bronzer options from Physicians Formula? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Wow, SO many new goodies from Physician's Formula are popping up! I'm loving the embossed pattern on the cashmere bronzer but the tassle looks really tacky imo. The shades look really light for bronzing though :( The bronzing stones look awesome! They remind me of the Guerlain stones or whatever they were called :)
ReplyDeleteAngelicBetrayal: I actually like the tassel because that's what you pull to open up the compact. And since I can't pull off dark bronzers, I'm super excited that these don't look too dark. They look perfect for me. Sorry they don't seem like a love-match for you though! :(
ReplyDeleteI think that Physician's formula needs to be hyped up more. A lot of the their older bronzers are my favorites of all time (not that I've tried many, but now I don't need to). I'm so excited to check these out, but nervous because I might be buying them all. I love the packaging as well. I'm a huge physicians formula fan when it comes to their face products! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose powder stone things look like the Guerlain Meteorites. I'd love to see someone that has the Guerlain version do a comparison!
ReplyDeleteNow those are pretty! wow. Very intriguing PF, what will you come out with next? :) I already like their Bronze Booster in the pressed compact, and used to use their loose 'ballz' bronzer similar to Guerlain's (perhaps a bit darker than Mythic but close enough) but it was discontinued years ago so these ones are definitely of interest!
ReplyDeleteI also agree they need to be hyped up more and always had some good products. PF always seems to get overlooked; because they don't advertise as much as some others? They used to be on the pricey end of ds but now are no more pricey than a lot of other brands who seem to be gaining on them that way. The new CG foundation is what, close to $13, for example?
These are super pretty. I love the packaging, especially the tassel. I really need to do a No Buy... you're not helping me G, lol.
ReplyDeleteI love PF, I really do. But no love match for me, either :-/
ReplyDeleteI bought both bronzers (the Cashmere and the stones), and ended up returning both for different reasons.
The Cashmere bronzer looked great, FELT great (silky) ... turned orange on me. Which sucks because I have a couple of their other bronzers and they're pure love.
The stones were returned because they go on your face as they appear in the container -- a big, glittery mess :-/ (I had high hopes and crossed fingers that this wouldn't be the case, but ... no)
PF makes THE best d/s bronzers I've come across ... but these don't hold a candle to the Sun Booster series (one looks like a Guerlain package, and the other is a matte bronzer). They're amazing.
