New Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Collection (prepare to have your mind blown)

SEVEN NEW MINERAL WEAR PRODUCTS, folks! (If you're unfamiliar with this line, these products talc-free and color-correcting).

And let me just say, each one looks more intriguing than the next! Let me show them to you (oh, and I spotted these at Rite Aid):

 From left to right:

Correcting Powder
(this not only corrects, but claims to be a PRIMER TOO)

Correcting Pebbles
(um, can I eat this please? They look like those little after-dinner mints! So cute!)

Airbrushing Loose Powder
(comes with its own mini kabuki!)

Airbrushing Kabuki Brush
(a very cute full-size, blue kabuki!)

And the other three new Mineral Wear products? LIQUID PRIMERS! With "Try Me Free" stickers!

These new primers claim to help makeup wear longer AND color-correct your skin. There's nude (a general color-corrector), pink (a brightener) and green (a redness corrector). I bought the nude one and I CANNOT WAIT to try it and review it for you. I mean, it was FREE, so how could I possibly resist?

OK, I need to lie down after this one. It's all too much, I'm telling you!

What do you think of these new Mineral Wear products? Anything catching your eye? Any must-haves? I'd love to hear from you!

  1. I think these have been in Canada for awhile already, unless they reformulated it maybe? I have the pressed swirl compact and do not like it. It goes on white so I look like a ghost lol. Even if I try to lightly put it on, no deal! And the brush it comes with is scratchy and clowny :D I was going to return it but lost the receipt so I'm out $12ish bucks :(

  2. Kitten Mittens: I think the pressed compact MIGHT be reformulated because I posted about the Correcting powder here, back in December of 2009 (scroll to bottom of post):

  3. Ohh! These look quite interesting especially the primers! I wonder if they have silicone in them.... Thanks so much for all the great posts!

  4. That's the one!
I just wish stores had testers for this brand. It's so pricey but I don't wanna end up with 2 rainbow swirls lol. Still loving their shimmery black gel liner though. They win for that one.

  6. DAMN G. (ha, love saying that), you have been bringing it with all these posts the past few days. i am just so sad that i left the states on the 28th so i missed both the CVS clearance sales AND all the new products hitting the shelves. boo to that! but i directed my sister to your CVS clearance post so maybe she'll go pick up a few things and save some for me next time i'm home. :) when she saw your post, she said (and i quote): "looking at this is making me feel the need to run out and buy a bunch of makeup right now! undereye concealer for two dollars! TWOOO DOLLARS! i can't breathe!" p.s. i LOOOOVE this sinful colors minted apple. bee-yoo-tiful! thanks for the tip!

  7. I bought the shimmer pebbles and have been trying them out. I plan on doing a post next week about it. I saw these at Meijer last week with the Mood Boosting line I posted about. Very intriguing - I'm interested in that primer!

  9. I live in Europe but I follow your blog because I really like it! I'm soooo jealous with these "try me for free" stickers, we never ever get something like that! And products are more expensive here, it's unfair!

  10. I have been using the correcting powder for about a month or so and I love it! I use this in place of where I would've normally used a translucent powder before (like as a finisher for foundation and touch-ups) It doesn't look like you're wearing powder at all. I dont' think it's that oil absorbing though, because I do have to touch up more frequently, but overall the finished look you get right after you dust it on your face over foundation is nice. I've never worn it on just a bare face though.

  12. I have been using the Correcting Powder since it came out, and absolutely adore it ... I don't know if this new one is any different, but the original one is amazing, and really does even out my ruddy skin tone.

I mostly use it lightly AFTER foundation and powder, to brighten up my face, but I have used it completely on its own, and I have to say, it made my skin look incredible, despite the fact that I'm a full foundation kind of gal ;-)

    HIGHLY rec!
