Spotted: New Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry French Manicure collection

First of all, just how many new 2011 nail products can Sally Hansen release this month? I mean, poor ol' Sally is working overtime these days. I can hardly keep up between those new treatments with the beads in them and the new Nail Growth Miracle Nail Color line. And now THIS!

The always-wonderful Rach just sent me some pics of the brand new Sally Hansen Fast Dry French Manicure polishes and she also took pics of the accompanying brochure, so that we literally can learn all we need to know about these polishes before we spot them at our local drugstores. Thanks so much, Rach!

So...my first instinct after seeing these polishes is: WOW! I must try one! As you know, I'm a sucker for anything new or innovative, but that leads me to this question, which I would like you to answer:

Do you think this is a wonderful new innovation in the world of nail polish, or simply a new gimmick that won't live up to its claims?

Take a look at these pics, and let me know what you think!

So once again:

Do you think this is a wonderful new innovation in the world of nail polish, or  simply a new gimmick that won't live up to its claims?

Thanks again to Rach for the awesome, detailed pics!

  1. ...gimmick. i think it would be awkward to hold with the brush on one end like that, no?

  2. I do think this is a gimmick, but I look forward to seeing what people do with these even though I won't be buying any. :)

  4. Gimmick! Gimmicky gimmick!

It's just the same nail polish side by side. Who would think this is exotic or groundbreaking?

I will admit that I like the idea of two colors inhabiting the same bottle. It would save a LOT of space if it's done right.

  5. I own lots of Sally Hansen products, but for some reason this doesn't seem to excite. As stated above, the bottle seems like it would be too awkward to hold and confusing to open.
Although I think this may end up selling well for Sally, simply because a lot of people are too lazy to even think about using two different polishes they already own to create a look that Sally is putting in one bottle. Gimmick!

  6. I personally tried to open these and the brush falls back down out of the top! it is very hard to hold, and even open the top! definitely a waste. will not be buying any of these. Would much rather have 2 different bottles for all the trouble!

  7. I bought a few of these and after I got home realized I have some of these colors already. They are repromotes. LIke I have lightening (yellow) and lickety split-lime (green) and brisk blue (blue)

  9. gimmick!! in my case anyway, its clumsy hands, not lack of ideas for color pairing that prevent me from doing anything fun! and i can't imagine that brush helping my clumsy hand problem.

  10. I'm not a polish lover but I have to try these, they look cute and I like the color pairings. Two in one can't hurt as long as it doesn't cost double as well, right?

  11. Definitely seems like a gimmick to me, but I am also a total sucker, and will probably pick one or two up when they go on sale!!
