  2. So I am thinking with a BOGO free coupon you could possibly get two packages of gel strips for approximately $9 for those who already have a UV light?! I have been wanting to try them with my Red Carpet system. Time to Google possibilities. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    1. If you look at the kit, unfortunately it doesn't even use a UV light, it's an LED light :(

  3. I doubt they can be used together because the BOGO coupon applies to both, and the other applies to the kit. The deal won't work because thats two MQs on one item. I could be wrong, but I just thought I would comment.

  4. there's no inserts coming in this week's newspaper

  5. The bogo coupon only applies to the free product. As long as the other coupon is not on the free product It should work. I can't wait!

  9. the BOGO Free coupon is buy the starter kit, then get the polish free. The other coupon is also for the starter kit. Since they are both manufacturer coupons, I don't think they can be used together on the same item.

  10. is anyone else having problems downloading the BOGO off coupon? Its not working for me :- (

  11. i was thinking along the same line as Robin, but the wording on the coupon says "BUY ONE (1) SALLY HANSEN® SALON INSTA-GEL STRIPS STARTER KIT, GET ONE (1) FREE GEL COLOR STRIPS"
    dang!

  12. From the coupon policy:

Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use one “cents off” coupon (a coupon of fixed value such as $.50, $1.25, etc.) in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One, Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.

It's pretty much saying you can only use one BOGO coupon, not two to make both items free. You CAN use another $ off coupon with it, as long as it doesn't exceed the total price of both items.
I work there and do this whenever I can, BOGO free coupons are very rare! Just show the employee the coupon policy if they give you trouble.

  16. Does Rite Aid sell the regular Gel kit? Because the reviews for the strips aren't all that great.

  17. printing my $10 off as we speak. my rite aid doesn't have a huge display so i'm going first thing in the morning hope it works :) :)

  19. The coupons I printed say polish but in store they small box says strips.. I ended up not getting the gel kit because I can't use strips on my acrylic nails :( I did end up getting a bunch of the collection polishes though 40% off.. I didn't think to spend the $15 because I was thrown off about the strips so I'm kicking myself now lol

    1. You can go back and get more & it will add it to your previous purchase...it tracks the amount you spend on deals like that, see if it shows your total towards that deal at the bottom of your receipt...

  20. I got 2 kits. The two $10 coupons rang up fine, one of the free strip coupons rang up fine, the second beeped. The cashier had to force it through. This was a new RA for me, in a not great neighborhood but newly renovated and fully stocked. They even had the wnw limited edition spring 8 pan and pop art palettes...nobody was buying them! Needless to say I got a great haul today.

  24. I tried and it worked! The BOGO did beep but the manager pushed it through. Had to do with the insta-gel item. FYI the insta-gel is a money maker! Only 8.99 witht he 40% off!

  25. It worked, but they had to manually enter to BOGO. I would not count on all managers being so accommodating. Happy with what I got, but feel bad for the people in line behind me.

  26. Worked for me yesterday, and better than expected; the BOGO coupon took off 14.99, the full retail value of the strips, even though they had rung up for the sale price of 8.99. My total before tax was just 1.98. Entering the BOGO coupon manually was the only way my cashier could put it in, but only because my coupon was printed really poorly and it wouldn't have scanned anyway.

  27. ok nevermind found the other site someone posted worked like a charm headed out now!!

  28. I cannot get this to work! I have tried 3 browsers, both sites and it is just not going to happen I think. This is no good.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I just got my set! paid only 1.98, I have $5 +up rewards AND 11.97 towards next $5!! deal of the year! thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Has anyone done the math to see hoe much the polish version would be instead of the strips?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Didn't work perfectly for me. The coupons took off 7.98 (strips price) and 10.00, so my total was about $10 after tax, but then for some reason it didn't register as the full amount towards the rite-aid +ups, so I didn't get the $5 off. Still a good deal: the starter kit and 1 extra box of strips for $10, but just so everyone knows it doesn't always work perfectly.

  32. It worked for $9 something with tax! But yeah it worked well! Also IDK about anyone else but a lot of my Rite Aids are remodeling so I have been able to get a lot of makeup/nail products for cheap!
I was happy to had the coupon for the Gel Nail Set for Sally Hansen ($10 off and Buy the Gel Nail Starter Set get Gel Nail Polish Free)- They were selling the Gel Nail Starter Set for 17.99 (original price 69.98) and got my gel polish free! I paid about $8 for it! Better than the Gel Strips for me!

Also I was able to get the Jesse's Girl Liners for 1.74 each- I stocked up ^_^

  33. Tried it at 3 different Rite Aids this week and none of the associates/managers were having it :( I showed them the Rite Aid coupon policy and everything, and they all refused since the scanner was only accepting one of the coupons :P And even though I showed the coupon policy to them the managers were refusing to put in the other coupon in manually :(( Oh well...

    1. Yep, I had the same problem. Finally found the starter kit at the sixth Rite Aid I went to (!?), but the register scanner would only accept the $10 off coupon and they wouldn't do anything with the BOGO one. Said something about the numbers on the BOGO coupon were 'unrecognized' or there was 'no matching item'. Asked if they could put it thru manually and they said no.

      SO aggravating. >:(

  34. got 'em! on the last day of the sale lol.
but my rite aid's manager's pretty nice, they pushed the BOGO through for me ^_^
i ended up scoring them for 6.14 with tax though! not really sure how that happened XD
