I don't know what "Orpur" is, but I will try to find out and get back to you. I looked this fragrance up on Fragrantica where there are already a handful of user reviews. One user described this as a "clean floral, pure lily of the valley scent from start to finish" which makes me extremely excited to try it (you know I love my LotV). I don't see LotV listed in the fragrance notes but I do see linden, which is another clean floral that always appeals to me.
As with all Halle Berry fragrances, when they first launch they're available for $28, but it should only be a matter a time before we start to see it go on sale at all of the drugstores (and I'm almost positive there will be fragrance value sets for the holidays).

On a somewhat related note, I spotted (sorry no pics) the entire new line of Flower by Drew Barrymore frags at Walmart over the wknd. Fyi- it was at a Long Island, NY location. They had the rollerball for about $10, the smaller bottle at $20 and biggest $25. Kinda weird pricing, why bother w/ the smaller bottle for $20, when for just $5 you get nearly twice the amt?? No available testers either. I do not care for roll-on (unless it is an oil) so kinda feel the only option is to go full force w/ the largest size.
ReplyDeleteAaaah, thank you SO much for this, girlie! I kept meaning to put this on my "to investigate" list when you first mentioned it but things have been so crazy as of late, I completely forgot. I'm officially on the hunt, but no testers really sucks. I mean, who is going to commit to even $10 without a sniff first? And I agree about the jump from $20 to $25...I would also be inclined to just by the large bottle for $5 more.
DeleteOh, yvmw! I came to this post to let you know I saw a gift set at cvs with 4 HB frags, pretty sure it included this one. They appeared to be small spray bottles,, but I was in a rush and could be wrong...maybe dab on type? It retailed @ $19.99! I'll try to get better deets when I go back to pick up a prescription for my mom.
ReplyDeleteOk, so I went back and yes they are small spray bottles. They also had a gift set of this Wild Essence with the perfume, shower gel and lotion, also for $19.99. You can see them on the cvs website when you search "Halle Berry". You just need to scroll down a bit, and as of now the 3 piece is sold out online, but I did spot it at the store. :)
