It's that time again, Maybelline fans! The Spring 2014 Limited Edition Collection has landed! For Spring 2014, Maybelline is giving us what we love--nudes, nudes and more nudes. There are limited edition Color Tattoos, Master Glaze Blush Sticks, Color Elixirs and so much more in the Dare To Go Nude collection (four separate displays), and I have TONS of pics (and some great swatches, too) to share with you thanks to some lovely readers. So let's get started!
Maybelline Limited Edition Spring 2014 Dare To Go Nude Color Collection
Reader Cupcakecore (@cupcakecore on Twitter) spotted all FOUR of the displays in this collection at Bed Bath & Beyond this weekend and was kind enough to share tons of pics, info and some swatches, too! Let's start with the nail colors:

Cupcakecore writes:
Bronze Beam: bronze-y glitter that did not look very sparkly (glitter top coat)
Naturally Cream: very cool, pale taupe-y grey (creme)
Bare All: creamy peachy pale beige (creme)
Warm Me Up: light pink toned terra cotta (creme)
Lust for Buff: deep caramel tan (creme)
Bronze Beam
Keeping with tradition, there are two additional Color Show shades in a separate display (which also features makeup, as you're about to see). Here are the two other polish shades (for a total of SEVEN limited edition Color Show nail colors):
Cupcakecore writes:
Bare Beige: pinky peach beige, similar to Bare All but a bit darker (creme)
Blushing Nude: rosy bronze w/multi colored micro shimmer
And here is that separate display:

UPDATE: There are FOUR limited edition quads in this collection and I found them myself the other day, so here are some additional photos:

Four limited edition Color Sensational Nude Lipsticks.
Cupcakecore writes:
Barely Bronze: light bronze with shimmer (shimmer)
Raw Reveal & Nude Embrace: I couldn't remember much about these except they were dusty and muted, one was more mauve and one was more brown. (both cremes)
Ravishing Rose: light yellow pink creme (super pretty when swatched! I bet this is going to sell out first.)
You'll see swatches of Ravishing Rose in a bit!

Limited Edition Master Hi-Lighting Blush in Natural 251
UPDATE: I can now confirm, since I have seen this collection in person, that there is only one Master Hi-Light Blush in this collection and it is indeed a new, limited edition shade:

Two limited edition Master Glaze Blush Sticks. I just reviewed two of the permanent blush sticks here and I'm SO excited to already have new limited edition shades! That one on the right looks sort of like it might be a dupe for the NARS Orgasm The Multiple, maybe?
Cupcakecore writes:
Nude Rebellion: light peach beige
Barely Pink: warm light pink, warmer than the light pink permanent Master Glaze
And the other two displays in this collection:

Six limited edition Color Tattoos (NO MATTES--these all contain shimmer).
Cupcakecore writes:
Pure Nude: very light pale beige
Beige-ing Beauty: warm peachy beige, swatches very sheer w/gold shimmer.
Nude Compliment: looks like a mousy warm brown in pan but swatches as a cool, shimmery taupe, cooler than Bold As Bronze, starts out sheer but is pretty build-able.
Sleek & Spice: warm reddish brown
Caramel Cool: rich orange gold
Stroke of Midnight: rich, shimmery black

Cupcakecore writes:
Most of these are cream finishes but one or two have microshimmer that other permanent colors in the line have, none of them were super shimmery.
Polished Petal: cool very light pink (creme)
Charming Cocoa: warm medium brown (possible shimmer)
Radiant Bloom: very light yellow pink creme warmer & brighter than Polished Petal (swatches sheer and very light)
Candy Sensation: golden camel (shimmer)
Gleaming Gold: warm gold shimmer more gold than Candy Sensation
Almond Aura: rich warm brown (creme)

I'd also like to thank reader @triniorigins on Instagram, who left a comment on my Instagram early this morning for alerting me to this collection! And I apologize if any of you tried to tell me about this collection as I was writing this post--it took me a while to put the post together and I haven't been checking my emails/social media in the last few hours!
Have you spotted the Limited Edition Spring 2014 Dare To Go Nude Collection in your area yet? Again, please let me know if you want me to make an interactive sightings map for this one!
Thanks so very much to Cupcakecore and Fatima for the wonderful sightings, photos and swatches. I can't express to you how much I appreciate it!
Ooh, I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they would make LE tattoo pigments?
ReplyDeleteI hope this is easier to find than the last limited edition bunch they had..Gilded in Gold I think it was? I was only able to find two location that had the color tattoos in Oahu, times two of each color…very hard to find! Will there be a map? :)
ReplyDeleteWow, can't wait for those Color Tattoos and Color Elixirs!
ReplyDeleteI'd like a map :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteI've been waiting on new color tattoos but mostly pigments which they don't have, but excited anyway!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they would make LE tattoo pigments?
ReplyDeleteI have seen the nail polishes in Walgreen's. Can't wait until they get the rest of this collection.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty much need all of this.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO excited for the master glaze blush sticks. I love the one I have and these colors look perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteOh....bye-bye money. :(
ReplyDeleteI think I saw the blushes at Walgreens but I'm not sure... Beautiful collection, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI only found the matte Color Tattoo's at ONE store near where I live. If I can't find any of these, I'm going to be pretty annoyed. Nude Compliment looks like a must-have
ReplyDeleteI love the Ravishing Rose lipstick, and I'm super excited about more nude color tattoos!
ReplyDeleteOmg I'm so excited! Frik... this is gonna break the bank! ;) I've book marked this post so I can bring it with me when the whole kaboodle arrives!! :D
ReplyDeleteI now have a list of the things that I must own. I'm just hoping my Walgreens gets these in, unlike the Gilded in Gold collection.
ReplyDeleteWow, I just finally found the LE cream shadows in yellow, pink & brown and now these new ones are here. Hope they'll get to my part of the world soon. Thanks for the good news!
ReplyDeleteAre you still able to find those?! I looked everywhere and couldn't find them and was soooo sad!
DeleteI already pinned the Color Tattoo's! I must find these. lol Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI cry a little when Maybelline releases LE color tattoos. I love them so much, but they always evade me. Thanks for the post! I'll start hunting NOW!
ReplyDeleteG, yes, please make a map. This is one collection that is going to be picked over the minute it hits the shelves. We are all going to need a back-up store in case at the first one certain things are gone. I am after all the Tattoos, the two Master Glaze blushes the eye shadow quads and possibly the Master Hi-light if they are new shades. Whew! This was a lot to take in. Maybelline nailed it with gorgeous collection. Bring on Spring!!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for spring, too -- not just for the collection but for the warmer weather! :D
DeleteOmg I am super excited! I want that rose lipstick and that cream stick blush and the color tattoos!!!!
ReplyDeleteAw ****!
ReplyDeleteMaybelline is making it difficult for me to keep on my only-buy-what-I-need campaign this year. Le sigh . . . thank goodness I don't have a BBW with an extended Harmon. I'm hoping I forget about this post by the time this collection hits the drugstores in another mont. LOL
ReplyDeleteI know, right? For the safety of our wallets, we must forget... =D
DeleteOOhhh I've not seen any new make up here in the UK, but we do have four new polishes in a collection called Stripped Nudes, 2 x creme nail nudes and 2 x glitter shades (one copper and one gold). I've posted about them on my blog before now. Can out literally a week after the Street Artist glitter toppers
ReplyDeleteAny mattes in the shadow quads?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Can't wait to find this and raid the display!! Sometimes if eel like there's not enough for everyone when they put displays like this so many products to try!!
ReplyDeleteA shimmery nude Color Tattoo? Yes, please. I love nude shades of makeup and the entire collection is calling my name. I'll be hunting this down for sure.
ReplyDeleteI would love an interactive sightings map!!! I can't wait to get my hands on the Master Hi-Light blush (if it's limited) - I LOVE the permanent one in Nude! And the Color Tattoos and Elixirs look awesome!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to hunt down that caramel cool color tattoo!
ReplyDeleteI think that I just happened to stop at BB&B the day they put this collection out on the shelves, so I was able to snag two of the lipsticks (Nude Embrace and Ravishing Rose) and two color elixirs (Polished Petal and Radiant Bloom). I like the color selection for the lipsticks in this limited edition better than some shades in the original Buffs collection.
ReplyDeleteOh... I really want Sandy Sensations now... a yellow gloss that is warm and brown-toned enough to be cozy like that one sounds wonderful. =)
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG OMG must have (*faints*)
ReplyDeleteI just picked up the Color Tattoos (some one had "swiped" the remaining two lipsticks I wanted Ravishing Rose and Nude Embrace. Ugggg I hate that, especially when there are only 2 or 3 in the display). But they don't say limited edition on them. The lipsticks, polishes, and elixirs do but not the Color Tattoos. So they may not be limited edition. My other LE Color Tattoos have Limited Edition on the wrapper.
ReplyDeleteI notice that too!!
DeleteWhere?
DeleteI got mine in CT
DeleteI want the Tattoos as they are on my awesome list. And, I love the glaze sticks; awesome as well. If rose shades are getting included with neutrals, I'm in on that too. I hope I can find these.
ReplyDeleteThere are three different quad eyeshadows.
ReplyDeleteOh no....where can I see the third one do you have the name of it or the # .... please and thanks
DeleteI saw 4 different eyeshadow quads. "Take it Off" was more purples, and another one with neutral colors - don't remember the name. Saw the whole collection at BB&B.
DeleteMap yes please and it would be great if please would leave where they are spotting these...state and store as im in Iowa and its impossible to find these ...ive even called my CVS and they were sooo reluctant to look in the back and hold anything for me even when I said I would buy one of everything and even pre pay if possible...so ridiculous...don't they want my money??? Rant over
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I LOVE those nail colors!!! And the Color Elixir lipsticks are amazing! Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteI totally have a list of needs from this line and one of those needs is an interactive map, please!
ReplyDeleteThe color elixirs look great! I really hope this collection manages to make it to Canada!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I am excited!! Assuming I'm able to find everything I would like to pick up: all 6 color tattoos (and maybe even some back ups if I end up LOVING a few shades), the 2 blush sticks, all 4 eye quads, and probably 2 out of the 4 lipsticks! There goes all my money!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I am so excited right now. This has to be wrong to be this excited about a new makeup collection!
ReplyDeleteI saw two of the displays at Fred Meyers last night!
ReplyDeleteAnyone have any ideas of which nail polish is being worn in the first display pic?! Looks like the color I've been dreaming of.
ReplyDeleteHeads up for those looking for a cheaper alternative or dupes for Lorac's Pro to Go. Nude Romance has dupes for three of the shadows. The first creamy tone is a dupe for Shell, the second satiny midtone shade dupes for Cafe, and the fourth/deepest shade dupes for Mink! A dupe for Chai is the last/deepest shade in the Bare it Buff quad. Yay!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is weird, but I don't buy this whole spending money thing to have a makeup-less look. In that case, I'd just wear chapstick and face cream.
