WALGREENS

- BOGO1/2OFF all Jordana eye and lip cosmetics. This is HUGE, folks. I literally cannot recall the last time Jordana was on sale at Walgreens (aside from random clearance sales). If your Walgreens has the new Jordana display, I urge you to check out some of the new products. Readers have been raving about some of them on the You Tell Me page. Here are some snippets:
Reader peachesndream writes:
I purchased some new Jordana products from Walgreens. 12 HR Made to Last Eyeshadow Pencils in several colors(exactly like the Milani ones, even had one in 04 Continuous Almond which is the same as the LE Milani Almond one), and Twist and Shine Moisturizing Balm Shine in several colors (really like these so much!!). Both were around $3 each.
And, yes, OMG, the balm stains are totally amazing! I haven't been able to pry them out of my hands since buying them a few days ago. They have the most amazing smell, go on so easily, great color, and last and last (even the shine!). I had to write Jordana an email to praise them (and for the rest of their products). I feel like people NEED to know how great Jordana is, and for the price, it to me is completely unreal!!

I bought some of them too, and yes in that display! Best thing is the white shadow pencil is MATTE!!!! And the balm stains are amazing. They last really long, even through eating and drinking.
That's it's for now, but please check back for the full wrap-up tomorrow. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!
I'm going to hunt down the new Jordana display! I shall bring you pictures if I find it.
ReplyDeleteHere in New Jersey there was a 25% of total purchase coupon in the Sunday paper for CVS
ReplyDeleteHope to check these balm stains out too. While I am there I best pickup Lip Out Loud glosses!
ReplyDeleteIn my area I have a Ben Franklin craft store, they have a hugh Jordana display. My local Walgreens only sell part of the line. I might have to seek the new items out and try them. Thanks for the updates you keep on your channel.
ReplyDeleteWait, really? I never venture into the makeup section there.... Now I must!
DeleteI just left a 24 hour cvs and the revlon sale doesnt come up even after the price was corrected... when you search other stores the sale is reflected.. just an fyi
ReplyDeleteYou probably visited a store that doesn't participate in national sales. If you see my disclaimer above (in red) there are stores that don't run the weekly sales. Other readers have told me in the past that some of these stores are located in NYC, so when I saw your comment below, I wasn't surprised!
DeleteGlad you found the sale at other locations though!!
Fyi.. this was the 96st store in NYC
ReplyDeleteMilani and Jordana are sister companies, like WNW and Markwins and Black Radiance, so it would make sense that one has identical products to the other :)
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm pretty sure that's why she made the comparison (peaches, please correct me if I'm wrong). :)
DeleteI just did an entire"Milani & Jordana Week" here on the blog recently and I mention that they're sister companies so often on my blog that when I DON'T say it in a post, I forget that people may be new and not know that. So thanks for mentioning it here again, MiMi!
It would be fun to use the Rite Aid Wet n wild 50c off eye pencil coupon on the color icon pencils, making the cost 09c before tax.
DeleteYes, that is why I mentioned it! :)
DeleteI thought that maybe some people who didn't get the Milani LE could have solace that Jordana has at least one that is the same (the best one, IMO, which is the almond colored one) and for a much lower price!
@Sapiens: YOU ROCK! I totally didn't even think about that! Sweeeeet! I'm posting about this right away! :D
Delete@peachesndream: Oh yay! I'm glad I was right about that one. :D And yes the Milani Almond pencil is my FAVE of the entire LE collection too. So happy to hear there's another version now!!!
There was also a $1 off any wnw coupon in one of my inserts last week...overage, anyone?
DeleteThanks for the info! I want to get some Lypsyl lip balms after your review on the Honeyberry one. ^^
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to check out some Jordana cosmetics too. I wish there was more info/swatches of the balm stains.
I really want to try some of those newer Jordana lip colors, and find a couple of their matte lipsticks in store! Here's hoping Walgreens restocked their Jordana displays with the new goodies in time for the sale!
