This weekend's a bit hectic for me since it's Mr. G's birthday weekend and, well, I'm kind of big on birthdays so I have lots of fun things planned for him. Anyway, in an effort to save time, I'm only listing this week's makeup sales, but I'm including a link to each retailer's weekly ad in my write-up below so that you can see the rest of this week's sales for yourself. CVS shoppers: We've got 40% off all Physicians Formula cosmetics and skincare this week. Also, if you spend $5 on any Wet n Wild cosmetics, you'll get $2 back in Extra Bucks (limit 1). This offer also applies to NYC, if your CVS carries NYC! PS: The CVS Beauty Clearance Sale is still going on and just the other day I added lots of new skincare, bath and body care markdowns to the master list post.
Rite Aid shoppers: In case you didn't catch this last week, Rite Aid brought back the Nail Extravaganza for June (see below for details). Also, this week all Maybelline Volum' Express mascaras (The Rocket, Falsies, One by One, Colossal, etc.) are $5.99 each. This is your last week to print the June Video Values coupons before the July coupons go live (there's a $0.50 off Wet n Wild Fergie polish coupon available, as well as some good Revlon coupons if you haven't printed them out yet).
Walgreens shoppers: The nail polish gods have heard our prayers. FINALLY, a Sinful Colors sale! All Sinful Colors nail colors are 2 for $3 this week AND when you buy 2, you get 1,000 points. Since 1,000 points is the equivalent of $1 credit on your Walgreens card, that means that your final price after rewards will be $2 for 2 bottles of polish. Oh, and the ad does not indicate any exclusions, but check with a Beauty Advisor to see if this sale includes the Diamond Lust and Sinful Shine polishes, since those regularly retail for $2.99 each (if any of you lovely Walgreens BAs are reading this, I'd love if you could let us know if those polishes qualify for this sale. Thank you!). Also, this is your last week to grab the June Coupon Book in stores (free) since the July Book will be out soon.

DeleteWhat I've always wanted to know was, can you mix and match the BOGOs with different brands? Meaning, if Revlon and Maybelline are both having indentical BOGOs, can I purchase one item from each brand and still receive the discount?
ReplyDeleteNo! You can only do this if the ad lists various brands within the same listing. For example, sometimes CVS will run ads that say "Curel and Jergens body lotions BOGO1/2OFF" and then it's perfectly ok to mix and match.
DeleteBut if you look at a walgreens ad, for instance, they might have Revlon, Almay and Maybelline BOGO1/2OFF ads all next to each other in the circular, but the fne print will say something like, "applies to same brands only" or something like that. That means you'll only get the discount if you buy 2 items from the same brand.
Very rarely will any drugstore let you mix and match different cosmetics brands for a BOGO1/2OFF sale. Once in a blue moon Rite Aid will run a sale for example, that says "BOGO1/2OFF Jesses Girl AND Bonne Bell cosmetics" and in that case it will be very obvious in the ad that you can mix and match.

ReplyDeleteMy Rite-Aid has a sale on L'oreal eye products. In the photo for the buy one get one half off sale they only show pictures of the voluminous line, does that mean that the Infallible eyeshadows are excluded from the sale? My circular doesn't list any exclusions from the sale except for sale items. I'm so confused.
The CVS stores around me do not sell Wet & Wild products, only NYC :( I wasn't aware of this and was super disappointed when I couldn't find it. Only my Walgreens sells W&W but they're not having the ECB promo. Oh phooey!
