Spotted: New Hedy's Ma.nish.ma "Stoned" Nail Color Collection

Hedy's is an interesting little drugstore brand. I've only spotted their products at Rite Aid in my area, although I'm assuming that other regional chains may carry them too. Some of their products are hit-or-miss but I've generally been pleased with their polishes (specifically their Oke.doke line), which retail for $1.99 each.

The new "Stoned" Collection has some lovely, although pretty common, cremes. If you don't already have any of these colors in your stash, this could be an affordable option for you. Take a peek:

Hedy's Ma.nish.ma "Stoned" Nail Color Collection
(retail: $1.99 each at Rite Aid)

Dusty Spring Fields, Rollin' Stone, Ramblin' Red, Lady Madonna, Age of Aquarious

Obviously the name of this collection is very tongue-in-cheek--the shade names are very 60s hippie and classic rock themed.

I like that they offer two greiges in this collection (one more brown-toned, the other more pink-toned) and I think the deep teal shade is quite lovely as well.

Have you spotted/purchased any of these polishes? Thoughts?

  1. LOL! Someone switched the 'Ramblin Red' and 'Rollin Stone' nail polishes on the display. I was wondering why that brown color was called ramblin red! But definitely getting that Rollin stone nail polish when I find it at my local rite aid!

    1. None of them are in the correct order! You can see the correct shade names on top of the bottles in the first pic!

      That caught my attention too!

  2. I've been wearing Rollin' Stone on my nails (with NYC top coat) for the past week and they have yet to chip. I'm very impressed!

  3. I have only seen these at RA as well. Limited colors, but pretty. Little display caught my eye because I have a friend from Nepal named Manisha. :)

  4. I saw these at Rite Aid, and not sure if it was Dusty Spring Fields or Lady Madonna...but one of them is very close to Deborah Lippman Modern Love.

  5. At first glance I thought...Nah! I would pass on these. However they might make a nice addition to pass the time until we all start really busting out the spring pastels again!

  6. My rite aid charges 3.99 for Hedy Manishmas, so I don't usually buy them.

  7. greige (plural greiges)-
A colour between grey and beige, closely akin to taupe.
Had to look it up ;) haha

  8. Interesting - I've never seen them here in Chicago (Walgreens or CVS)

  9. I've never seen the brand in NY/NJ. Does anyone know what the name signifies? I know that in Hebrew, the phrase ma nishma means "How are you"

  10. Hmm. I don't have anything remotely like Rolling Stone. I'll have to see if I can find it locally - it would make a good alternative to the sea of pastel we'll be drowning in soon.
