Spotted: new products from Black Radiance, e.l.f. and more!

I've got lots of fantastic new product sightings from readers to share with you today, so let's not waste any time!

First up, my longtime blogging buddy Maureen spotted new Black Radiance NAIL POLISHES at her Walgreens:

Black Radiance Girls Rock Nail Lacquer Collection
(retail: $2.99 each at Walgreens)

If you're a longtime Black Radiance fan (FYI, Black Radiance is made by Markwins, the makes of Wet n Wild), you know that their two existing nail polish lines seem to be getting harder and harder to find in stores. Just when I thought Black Radiance was phasing out nail polish altogether, along comes THIS display!

According to the display, these are NOT limited edition!

Maureen supplied us with shade names and color descriptions as well (thanks, Maureen!):

From left to right, top row:

Rock Your Radiance: vibrant purple with subtle shimmer. A true purple, the pic doesn't do it justice.
Swag Rock: This one is really neat. Multi-colored hex glitters, instead of a clear base, it's a smokey color.
Diamond Sparkle: Fine silver glitter, nothing too special

L to R, bottom row;

Pretty Girl Rock: Fine glitters, mostly fushia, but some multi-colored ones in there, too. seems to be a tinted base.
B-Girl: Pretty teal creme. Much more teal than the pic shows.
Super Star Status: Hot pink creme

Another important thing that Maureen shared was that her Walgreens doesn't carry the full collection of Black Radiance products, but they DID have this display. So I have a feeling that distribution is a bit more widespread with these types of counter displays (just like when the 8-pan eyeshadows first hit Walgreens...eventually they became even more widespread, showing up at CVS, Rite Aid and Walmart, so let's hope that the case with these new polishes too!).

Another Walgreens sighting, this time from reader Brie:

Posh Colors Brush Kits
(retail: $9.99 at Walgreens)

The minute Brie sent this pic to me, I immediately started googling these brushes. I wanted to be able to confirm that these were in fact made by POSH (which I know is a brand that many readers like). Well, the Posh Colors line is not on the POSH website, HOWEVER, I did some more digging and found the website for the PARENT company of POSH, and indeed, these Posh Colors kits are on the parent company's website. So...yep, they're made by the makers of POSH brushes!

Next up, a Target sighting from reader Pam:

Top portion of new e.l.f. end-cap display at Target

Pam found a brand new e.l.f. end-cap display at her local Target, and it's filled with all sorts of goodies! If you look at the pic above, you'll see that there are two-piece and three-piece e.l.f. Mineral sets (shadows and face powders) for $5 each.

And on the bottom of the display (above), there are kits that retail for $5 each (top two rows) and $10 each (bottom row).

Close-ups of some of the kits:

e.l.f. 32 Piece Warm Eyeshadow Set
(retail: $5)

Pam pointed out that the palette above is the same one that was recently spotted at Walgreens (which is listed in my Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe list).

e.l.f. 26 Piece Beauty-on-the-Go Set
(retail: $5)

The kits above were also spotted at Walgreents recently, and it looks like THIS kit comes with two color palettes, though I'm not sure it comes with the actual holder since the box says "26 piece" kit.

e.l.f. 10 Piece Professional Brush Set
(retail: $10)

Also, Pam pointed out that the brush set above comes with "Professional" brushes, but the box doesn't say "Studio" (though they sure look like brushes from the Studio line).

Next up, a Walmart sighting from longtime reader Rach:

I'm don't shop at Walmart too often, but I do know, based on past reader-submitted sightings, that Skinny Girl products have been at Walmart for some time now (some of these products are at CVS now as well). HOWEVER, Rach pointed out that there are lip colors and tinted moisturizers in this collection, which is something I wasn't aware of. So of course I wanted to share:

Various tinted lip balms and plumping glosses from Skinny Girl

 Skinny Girl SPF15 Tinted Moisturizers

Have you tried any color cosmetics from Skinny Girl? Thoughts?

And last but not least, a Rite Aid sighting from reader yogabagaba:

Hedy's Ma.nish.ma Pop Art Eyeshadow Collection

Hedy's Ma.nish.ma has a new summer collection and it's chock-full of neons!

Hedy's Ma.nish.ma Glow-in-the-Dark Nail Color Collection

Thanks SO much, Maureen, Brie, Pam and yogabagaba, for the fantastic sightings and photos! I really appreciate it!

Have YOU spotted any of the products featured in this post in your area yet? Anything you have your eye on? I'd love to hear from you!

  1. Looks like a great collection. Very happy it's not limited edition. The nail colors are vibrant and beautiful.

  2. Looks like a lot of fun new stuff! I may have to hit up Rite Aid to see if I can find some of those neon products :)

  3. I have the brush set and it is okay. I don't like the face brushes at all. They shed like crazy and don't hold their shape well. I like the eye brushes though. They are nice.

  4. The Black Radiance nail polish look very similar to butter London varnishes to me, especially Swag Rock, Diamond Sparkle and Super Star Status since I have similar shades in my collection from bL. Hopefully I will able to scoop them up. I am so jealous that other people have a Rite Aid. There is none in my state but I should be happy that I have a Target, Walmart, Walgreens and CVS that is pretty close to me, right? *lol* Thanks again for the update G, I really appreciate it since some of these lines don't bother to update their website.

  5. I forgot to mentioned that the SkinnyGirl Tinted Moisturizer looks interesting. I wished the SPF was higher and had more shades available but I am still interested nonetheless.

  10. Has anyone tried the baked products from ELF yet or seen them in stores?

  11. I LOVE the Skinnygirl plumping gloss! The packaging is sort of cheap and nasty but the gloss is awesome. It's very shiny without feeling heavy or sticky.

  12. Snap up that ELF Warm Palette if you see it! It's not warm at all but absolutely neutral! I bought my first from Target a year or so ago...then the ELF site sold the same palette under a different name (Endless Eyes Warm) for $3.00 and I bought several of those for travel and gifts. FABULOUS shades and texture, matte, satins and sparkles!

  13. It's hard to tell for sure from the pics, but the elf products look like what's already on the website, and some of what was released around Xmas time . They don't look like new colors to me.. Can anyone verify that ( I'm an elf freak.. Their colors are such a great deal!!!)

    1. E.L.F has a tendency to just change up there package and relaunch the same thing. From the pictures those look like the same palettes they had for XMAS.

  14. I spotted a new box of elf glosses at Walgreens and picked it up. It has 5 shades: Pink Pop, Flirt, Guava, Houston and Cherry.

  15. I wish they would sell Black Radiance here where I live (TN) I am tired of ordering on line, I love these products!

  16. I *almost* picked up a few of the Pop Art shadows yesterday but I wasn't thrilled with any of the shades so I passed. Figures I couldn't find anything at Rite Aid I wanted, since I have a gift card to spend there, LOL.

  18. I am kind of excited to see others color of glow in the dark polish besides the standard green. Now I just need a Rite Aid in my state and I could try them :)

  19. I ran into a follower today in my Walgreens! She came in looking for the Posh brushes and grabbed some fantastic polish colors too! Also we finally got the side display of Fergie's polish and the E.L.F. 2/$5.00 display as well!

  20. I just picked up Black Radiance B-Girl this afternoon - so pretty! It's not a plain creme, though - it's a bit shimmery. I've only swatched it on my thumb so far, but it's lovely. The bottles do look very Butter London-y, which is nice.

  21. I saw all the elf stuff at my local Target today and picked up a bunch of stuff too! I'm going to have to compare to what I already have at home to be sure they aren't rereleases but luckily I have 2 dd's that are also elf fans if they are.

  22. The beauty in the go kit comes with the holder too!

  23. So.....the only one that looks like a true dupe/rerelease to me is the 100 shadow palette. It's the same as the Spring release in the white packaging. The warm one is different from the one I have (but I got it well after it's release so I'm not 100% positive exactly which one it is...don't remember LOL....) so hooray! I don't have the cool one to compare it with. The only other one I think *may* be a rerelease is the smoky palette of 6 shadows. I have the other one, but there are such subtle differences in them that I'm keeping both.

There are always similar or exact shadows in all the large palettes in my experience anyway.

  24. GOSH I'm so sorry for the multiple posts....but I just looked at the Little Black Beauty Books on Elf's site, which I didn't have before now and I'm fairly certain they're rereleases also. HTH.

  25. Swag Rock and Pretty Girl Rock are calling to me.The other colors are gorgeous too. I saw similar shaped bottles of polish like this at Ross, not the collection though, and didn't notice what brand it was, only the bottle remind of Butter London.
