A huge thanks to reader Chandra for this sighting! Chandra spotted ANOTHER new limited edition Salon Effects collection recently at her local CVS (click here if you missed the pics of the limited edition Avril Lavigne collection) and was nice enough to share:

Chandra didn't catch the name of this collection, but I told her not to worry because I was sure that one of YOU would know! If you know the name of this collection, I would really appreciate it if you'd leave a comment on this post and fill us in. Thanks in advance!
And another big thanks to Chandra for the great pics. I think these new designs are so lovely--I can't decide which ones I want! How about you?
My head has just exploded!!! I love this product more and more. Sally Hansen has definitely turned me into their slave. Mua ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI do not know the name of this collection. But I can share a bit of info. that I do know. The two patterns called Good Morning Glory and Sweet Marble Floret were a collaboration with the designer Prabal Gurung. For those of you that follow this blog, you know that P.G. has collaborated with Sally Hansen in the past with traditional bottled polish collections. (And there will be another collaboration coming later in 2012, I do believe, according to this very blog.) But this is the first designer collection/collaboration with Salon Effects. If this is the kind of awesomeness that will result, I hope they keep doing more collaborations!
I only knew that those two aforementioned designs were about to be released because I read about it in this month's edition of American Vogue magazine. I had no idea there would be three more designs.
Personally, I love them all.
BTW, I cannot afford Prabal Gurung clothing, so it's not like this tidbit is relevant to my life, but his two designs are taken directly from the fabrics of some of his Spring 2012 collection. So if you can afford his clothes, you could also have nails to match if you wanted! Hey, just saying...lol. (I have a feeling his clothes cost more than a car payment!)
Hey G!
ReplyDeleteThis is a collection from designer Prabal Gurung.

I can't wait to spot this in my area!
I saw these too! From what I could find out online, they are a collaboration with designer Prabal Gurung. Hope this helps!

This are very pretty! I like how they are getting more intrinsic with the patterns and designs.
ReplyDeleteI was never interested in these before, but I like these designs a lot! Sweet Marble Floret and Vine and Dine are freakin' adorable.
ReplyDeleteI was never interested in polish strips before, but these designs kinda make me want to try them! Sweet Marble Floret and Vine and Dine are freaking adorable.
ReplyDeleteTheir designs just keep getting better. Does anyone else have any issues with keeping the strips from lifting? I think I need to go over it with a clear coat of polish...
ReplyDeleteA swipe of acetone to the nail before you apply makes a world of difference!
DeleteI love these designs! I haven't tried the Sally Hansens yet but these interest me for sure.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous, and while I can't justify the price when so many fantastic polishes are available by the bottle for less, I DO buy them for my toes. If you wrap up the leftovers carefully you can get as many as four pedis out of these and they last a LONG time with very little hassle of application. I just grab them as they go on sale and tuck them away to change up my toe color now and again.
ReplyDeleteI like the Sweet Marble Floret one!
