This just in! If you missed my previous post about how, due to fan demand, Calgon decided to bring back its iconic fragrance, Turquoise Seas, don't worry because I've got even more good news for you! Calgon has just made things a whole lot easier if you're trying to get your hands on a bottle. Read on for more details:
Off the shelves for over five years, consumers took to their social
media channels with rallying cries to bring back one of their favorite
products from Calgon, Turquoise Seas.
Turquoise
Seas, with notes of sparkling florals, aquatic greens and fresh white
musk, continued to be the number one requested fragrance from consumers,
which paved the way for the re-launch of this beloved customer
favorite.
And today, a store locator launched on
the Calgon site for consumers to find out exactly where they can
purchase the mist.
Just click the image above to be taken directly to the product locator!
That scent haa to be the number one thing that makes me remember what it was like to be 15.
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
DeleteWow. That's amazing to me. Is this company monitoring your blog for marketing tips?
ReplyDeleteSorry, I have no idea what you mean by that?? Can you explain?
DeleteI may be totally off, but I think T-Rex was wondering if they took a page out of your book and did a product locator similar to your Wet n Wild LE locator maps.
DeleteMeaning that it's a good idea that you have already used to help us find limited edition products. And, there have been many posts and comments made on your blog wishing that cosmetic companies would bring back favorites. I only meant that maybe Calgon, and other companies, may finally be looking at the fan blogs to see what we really want.
ReplyDeleteI didn't mean to imply anything sinister, but I guess it might have sounded that way. :-)
Aaaaah! You mean the map? Just for the record, their map is a locator with stores already built into the map--it isn't interactive like mine, and I think it's something lots of brands do. So I think you're giving me way too much credit! lol! ;)
DeleteBut thank you so much for the kind words--I didn't take your original comment in a sinister way AT ALL, I just didn't understand. :) xo
I tried their map after commenting to you, and I couldn't get it to work very well for me. Your maps are much better! :-)
DeleteIf we could get *better* information from the companies, including maps that work the way we need them to, we wouldn't need your interactive maps. *However*, it is kind of fun working together with you and your other readers to outsmart the system, and find the things we want at the best prices. I would love for it to be easier, but I would miss the shared treasure hunt.
And on a somewhat related note... I was frustrated with CVS (and Rite Aid and Walgreens) because there is no way to tell from their websites which stores carry certain brands, such as Black Radiance. Then I thought to check the Black Radiance website again. I had already seen the tab that listed all the chains that carry it (not very useful to me), but this time I saw the store locator tab. You can put in your zip code and get a list of all the stores from all the chains that carry the brand in your area. For instance, I only saw the 2 out of the 5 CVS stores in my town. And both of them definitely care BR. So, yay! http://www.blackradiancebeauty.com/
ReplyDeleteI wonder if its for a limited time only or will it be permanent. I'm going to clean out that shelf when I get off from work today!
ReplyDeleteI believe it's permanent. :)
