New synthetic cosmetics brushes from Rite Aid!

UPDATE: CLICK HERE FOR MY REVIEW OF THE RITE AID RENEWAL SMUDGE BRUSH.

I haven't been this excited about a new drugstore makeup brush collection in a while! Check out the new cosmetics brushes from Renewal (a Rite Aid house brand). They are all "animal-friendly" made with "synthetic materials" (according to the packaging).

I purchased the Smudger Brush for $3.99 but I don't know the prices of the other brushes (no price tags on the display yet--these are very new!).

I have to tell you that, from the looks of these brushes, they appear very promising. I'll definitely review the Smudger Brush after I've given it a good testing.

THE BEST NEWS about this line though? If you're a Rite Aid Wellness+ member, you'll get an instant 10% off these brushes every day (when they're not on sale) because, as you probably know, all Rite Aid brands are 10% off for members. And if you're a Gold Member like me, you'll get an instant 20% off! So I paid $3.19 for the Smudger Brush instead of $3.99 (and I had $3 in +UP Rewards which pretty much made it free).

There may be additional brushes in this collection, but since this line is so new, I'm not sure my Rite Aid had all of the brushes in stock yet.

Have you spotted the Rite Aid Renewal Cosmetic Brushes in your area yet?

  4. Thanks for the tip! And for the Maybelline and L'Oreal coupons. I'm printing them and saving them for my next trip to the States.

I was wondering... could you recommend a good angled face brush? I want to use it for applying brush and contouring. Not too big, because I'm new at makeup and don't want to accidentally look like a clown :)

  10. Funny, I just bought the duo fibre brush from this line today, and now I see it here! Didn't know it was a new line! I will say, I like the handle. It's bigger and wider than an average brush handle, and I feel it gives a bit better control. It's quite soft too! If you're looking for a dupe for the MAC 187, though, this is quite a bit smaller. But for $7.99, it's a pretty good deal. :)

  11. I have spotted these at 2 different Rite Aids so far. They seem nice but I haven't picked any up yet.

I was curious if anyone could recommend a good blending brush that isn't too pricey. I seem to have trouble blending my eyeshadow up by the brow bone and it bothers me. Thanks so much.
