AND, even more exciting:
a new online store!
Every time I post a review of a Ruby Kisses product (for example, my review of their Xpress Liner & Shadow in Midori Sour, or my review of their nail polish in Teal Envy, the NUMBER ONE complaint I hear from many of you is that you can't find this brand in your area. Well, now there's a way to get your RK fix online, and as they just said on Twitter, "Shop till you drop as you won't find a price over $5!"
Thanks again, Hekela, for the heads-up!
For those of you who don't have access to Ruby Kisses in your town, are you excited that you can now order their products online?
Oh my gosh G. I am absolutely thrilled and I am going to order first thing in the morning!!! Thanks for the good news! It made my night! That and American Idol!
ReplyDeleteThank You for the LOVE :)
ReplyDeleteI just couldnt help myself..I went back to the Beauty Supply and picked up a few things. Im goin to do a giveaway so keep an eye out :) Thanks again! xoxo
This is the most exciting news I've heard all day! What timing, since all I've been seeing is GetchaNailsDid post after post of Ruby Kisses, thinking oh well I'll never have those. Definitely great news,G!
ReplyDeleteGood news. I picked up a few RB at the beauty supply store but great to see they are now online. Looks like this is the online store of the beauty supply store, not of the RB itself right? One thing to "complain" about: no shade names, just numbers lol
ReplyDeleteI am very excited, especially since the prices are just as good as those at my local beauty supply stores! And free shipping on orders over $20! Sweet! Unlike Kleancolor, another favorite brand which is much pricier on their website than it is locally.
ReplyDeleteI wish the nail color drops were bigger, or had the names listed. That's going to be tough for people new to the brand.
And finally, if you like fun, festive glitters, I have to recommend the color "Crazy Night Out"! I'm not sure which one it is, but I think it may be #139.
G. please tell me Teal Envy is color # 136? the website had numbers and not names!!!I ordered it as it looks like the only color that it could be!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to look at my Ruby Kisses stash when I get home. If the numbers are on the bottles with the color names, I'll comment here with what I have and a brief description.
ReplyDeleteYay! So glad you all are as excited as I am about this! :)
ReplyDeleteHalifax: Yes, but I think it's probably an "official" store (or agreement) since RK tweeted about it. At any rate, it's the most comprehensive selection of RK products I have EVER seen online, so it might as well be their own site. And who can argue with free shipping over $20, right?
robin: I just pulled out my bottle of Teal Envy and YES! I can officially confirm that it's shade #136!! :D
T-Rex: Thanks for the glitter rec, and thank you in advance for any info you can provide about shades! I know for sure that 136 is Teal Envy. :D
As promised, here is my stash with numbers, names, and descriptions. All but the last color have the letters RNP in front. The last color, Yellow Bikini, is from the High Def Neon collection. Although several of these colors have "neon" in the name, they aren't what I would consider "neon". They are bright, but not neon.

I tried to order some stuff on the website but some of the stuff would not add to my cart. I wanted to get one of their mascaras and the face and body bronzer. but when i clicked to add it to my cart it would not. So i refreshed the screen and it said it was out of stock but i had to refresh the screen to see it. Did anyone else have this issue? The nail polishes added fine to my cart but not other stuff.
ReplyDeleteT-Rex: I bow to you, m'dear! You. Are. AWESOME! Thank you so much for this--I'm thinking I should publish your info in a separate post so that the most amount of people will see it. Thank you, thank you for taking the time to do this for all of us! xo
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! I love to enable other "laquerheads". :-)
ReplyDeleteI should mention that some of their polishes really are sheer. Some of us have the patience for that, some of us don't. It took a gazillion coats to build up Neon Green to the level I wanted it. But it looked fantastic when I was finally done!
ReplyDeleteGreen Tomatoes looked yellow with only one coat, but built up to a nice, bright, yellow-green color after a couple more coats.
Out of all of the ones I've tried, Teal Envy is the most opaque. And it's a fave of mine, too.
I see the color 03 on the High Def Neon page looks *nothing* like Yellow Bikini! And I don't see a yellow listed at all, even though there is a yellow polish (like mine) in the image. So I have no idea what's going on there.
ReplyDeleteI found some Ruby Kisses today at one of my two beauty supply stores today! Score! I got one of the bronzers in bronze glow that is kind of a shimmer-y coral and it is beautiful as a blush. I also picked up a primer. The other store had the polishes so I already have a few of those. That teal is gorgeous! Im so happy. Im going back after they have the display all the way up!
