With springtime comes bright nail colors, and I for one am so happy about that! I was at a local beauty supply a while back and spotted the newest releases from Ruby Kisses and this one just called out to me--I had to get it:
(apologies--my camera was acting up the day I took these so they're a little bit fuzzy)
Ruby Kisses Teal Envy
(retail: around $1.50)
Indoors, with flash.
Outdoors, natural light.

I was happy with the formula of this polish--two coats for good opacity and no application issues.
I love bright cremes! How about you? What colors are you looking forward to wearing for spring and summer?
Where can I find this nail polish brand?
ReplyDeleteWOW!! It's absolutely gorgeous!! Where did you get it?? I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh its beautiful. I don't think anywhere carries this brand around me. But im gonna check this dollar beauty store to see if they might have it.
ReplyDeleteI find this brand at a beauty supply store. When I read teal, I wasn't expecting a creme. What a surprising teal creme, at that! Looks h-h-hot on you!!!
ReplyDeleteOooo!!! I'm going to get this color tomorrow! My BSS sells these. I just did post on Ruby Kisses new HD polishes. Yep, I'm going to the BSS tomorrow! lol!
ReplyDeleteI don't normally go for colors like this but it looks so pretty on you I think I'm going to look for this one
ReplyDeletenever heard of this polish but it is GORGEOUS! love bright cremes :)
ReplyDeleteMrs. Silvestre: The only places I've ever seen Ruby Kisses polishes are independent beauty supplies. I would call around to the beauty supply stores in your area and ask them if they carry this line. They're worth the hunt though--for around $1 each they've got some awesome colors. :)
ReplyDeleteDinorah: Thank you! I got this at OK Beauty Supply here in San Diego. :)
ashwillis83: I would check with the independent beauty supply stores in your area too! That's where I always find Ruby Kisses in San Diego. :)
Kimberly: Thank you, girlie! And yes, that's the only place I ever find them here too.
Gabriella: Hum...there might be a CQ or Petites shade like this, but I can't remember off hand. Sorry!
Jamie: So glad you like this color, and I'm REALLY glad to hear you have a store near you that carries RK! I haven't seen the HD polishes--gotta hop on over to your blog and check 'em out. Thanks for the heads-up! :)
BeauxsMom: Yay!!! It's always fun to break from the norm and try a shade you don't normally gravitate toward. :)
Kaitlyn: It's only sold in beauty supply stores here in San Diego, so I'd check the beauty supplies in your area and see if you can find them. For around $1 a piece, they're awesome polishes!
I have this color and love it! I've even bought a few extra bottles to send to friends. :) The beauty supply store I go to sells them for a dollar, so it doesn't hurt to have a few lying around for extras. :D
ReplyDeleteGAWJUS! Thanks for swatching & sharing in diff light. :O)
ReplyDeletegorgeous color!!
ReplyDeleteLove bright cremes for this time of the year too! Got pastel turqoise on my tips right now, but it's chipped like no one's business. Will have to de-polish and re-polish tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! Ruby Kisses doesn't get enough love on the blogs. It's one of the better inexpensive polishes out there.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow!!!! I die! Must have this one, sadly I know of no place in Central New York to buy this line. If any knows let me know please!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know of a dupe of this? I called around and no beauty supply stores have it. I wonder if china glaze has a similar color to it?
