If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know that I looove ColorStay eyeliners. They are one of two drugstore liners that don't run or smear on me (Styli-Style is the other) and the shades I bought in this purchase are staples (Teal and Cocoa).
Regarding the mascaras, I am already loving 3D Extreme (I'll be reviewing it very soon) and I decided to purchase Fabulash because it's a Revlon mascara I've never tried before and it's been around forever so I figured what the heck!
So if you're a Revlon girl, you might want to run down to your local CVS asap and see if they have any other promo packs in the regular display before the BOGO free expires.
I am still stunned that I was able to get $40 worth of product for just $9.99!
Wow! Great deal! I can't wait to hear what you think of the mascaras, since we have the same kind of lashes. Between these and the Essence of Beauty glosses, I'm going to be much poorer when I walk into CVS XD

ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD. Almost forgot about my biggest find today. I left campus and went to Grossmont during my gap and in the morning, e.l.f. cosmetics were just the regular price. Right before I left, I went back again to pick up the eye palette you got and YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS... e.l.f. is on clearance. Everything is 50% off and I snagged a waterproof liner and the palette for a total of $3.00 w/out tax. You have got to get your beautylicious bum down there, stat!
The blush brushes, eyelash curler, and tweezers were still there but the large powder brush and the others were already gone. Everything else is there except for the encyclopedia of eyeshadows because I got the last one...
Can you say stocking stuffers??
You like the Colorstay better than the Prestige Total Intensity? that's my holy grail, stays all day on the water line. Lemmeno!

ndoodles: That just goes to show you that mascara is SUCH a subjective thing. I can't imagine anyone hating this mascara because it performs so beautifully for me and gives me everything I need. But I bet you can't imagine anyone LOVING it! lol! :) xo

It's been a while. :) I still love the Prestige BUT, it runs and smears on my lower lids unless I only used the tiniest about possible. :( The ColorStay liner literally never smears or runs on me, no matter how oily I get. The color selection isn't as great, but it works (dark brown, medium brown w/ shimmer, teal, black, blue and gray). I'd love to know what you think if you get one. Oh, and I also looooove that it's an automatic pencil. :)
Ooh, I need to run to CVS in the morning and check this out. That's a heck of a bargain.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking they put them on clearance because they're receiving more items for Christmas. They only have 2 isles for cosmetics at Grossmont.

They might have... but don't bother looking for them at Mission Valley. I was there today and they're sold out of all their brushes there too.
