Here's a close-up pic of the display (sorry for the glare):
Now in this pic you can see that the Total Intensity liners are to the right of the Kohl liners:
In this pic of the entire display, you can see that there's also something else that's made its way into the permanent Prestige collection: My Biggest Lashes (in the magenta tube near the bottom)! I will be posting a review of this mascara in a few days but just so you know, I am loving it and I am SO happy to see it's a permanent product!
(For those who haven't read my in-depth review of Total Intensity Eyeliners, click here.)
Now, if you have read my previous review, you know that I am loving these Total Intensity liners, with the exception of two things:
1) The colors available in my area are all very dark and I don't do dark liner
2) The staying power is AMAZING on my upper lid but it can smear on the lower lid if I'm not careful
Well one of my prayers was answered because when I was at Rite-Aid today, they had the elusive "Intense Olive" that I had only heard about but never seen. It was the last pencil in this shade so of course I snatched it up and I busted it out immediately when I got home.
Here's the difference between "Intense Olive" (the lighter shade) and "Daring Green" (the darker shade).
As you can see, "Intense Olive" is a lot lighter and it's the exact shade I have been looking for (by the way, there's a gorgeous golden shimmer to these that my crappy Blackberry camera is just not picking up). I am so happy I can't even express it in words. And these are just $5.50 a pencil. Yay!!
By the way, I tried rubbing these liners off my hand with my finger for 60 seconds straight, as hard as I can, and they did not BUDGE. Nothing. These babies are serious.
Have you tried Total Intensity liners yet? If so, what's your favorite shade?
(tee hee!)
ReplyDeleteWell hello there, Dear Reader! :D
ReplyDeleteThe purple one is great for the lower rim/waterline - it's not as harsh as black, and stays forever. On the upper lash line, it's not that distinguishable from a soft black or dark brown though. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Suman! Thanks for the great tip--I know what you mean about purple liners. Sometimes you really can't tell they're purple when you actually put them on. Thanks again. :)
