NEW Black Radiance Eye Appeal 8-Pan Palette and Soft Focus Finishing Powders (Plus: Reader Swatches)

Did you know that Black Radiance (from the same makers as Wet n Wild) has released a new 8-pan palette and some new face powders? I sure didn't, but thanks to two lovely readers I have pics (and some swatches) to share with you today!

First up, reader Tiffany (@shesfab01 on Instagram) spotted the new displays at her Kmart this week and kindly shared these pics:

(retail: $6.99 each at Kmart)

UPDATED: The new palette is on the far right called Island Blues. The middle palette in this display is Downtown Browns, which came out in 2012 (you can see my extensive review and comparison of this palette to other Wet n Wild palettes HERE). The palette on the far left is called Deeper the Berry and it is new as well (thanks to reader @simplyheather85 on Instagram for that tip--I had previously indicated that this palette was the existing palette called Posh Plums).

Keep reading for more pics (and some reader swatches)...

Tiffany also spotted these new Soft Focus Finishing Powders (with testers!) at her local Kmart and kindly shared this pic. Remember that if your skintone is lighter than any of these shades, you could possibly use them for bronzing or contouring.

Reader Peggy  (@makeupbypeggyl on Instagram) purchased the Island Blues palette at her local Walgreens this week and was nice enough to share some pics and swatches with us.

Have you spotted these new Black Radiance products at your local Kmart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS or Walmart recently? If so, I'd love to hear from you! If you're new to Black Radiance, they have a store locator on their website HERE, in case you're not familiar with where to find their products locally (you can also purchase select products on the Walgreens and Drugstore.com sites).

In the meantime, what do you think of these new Black Radiance offerings? I'm a little bummed that the Black Radiance 8-pans are a few dollars more expensive than the Wet n Wild 8-pans, since they're essentially the same (just different shades). I'm not sure why Markwins has them priced differently between the two brands, but hopefully you can catch these when they're on sale at Kmart, Rite Aid, CVS or Walgreens!

Thanks again, Tiffany and Peggy, for the great sightings and pics. I really appreciate it!

  1. Saw these today at one of the many Walgreens I popped into today. They were $7.99 there which I thought was a little pricey. Like you said, why are these more expensive than the WNW eight pans?!

  8. Just a heads up, you will only find these where there are hispanic and afro american clientele. (I am hispanic by the way) So if you cant them in your neighborhoods you will have to venture out to neighborhoods that would have said clientele.

I was fortunate enough to find them yesterday and I love them. They have bold yet neutral colors.
