(UPDATED) Spotted: NEW Revlon Limited Edition Candy Vibes 3D Jewel Applique Collection

Just added: More photos! See below...

Candy Vibes, you say? Oh Revlon, you know exactly how to get to me. Anything with a candy theme...I just can't handle the cuteness. And right in time for Valentine's Day, naturally.

Many thanks to @roguedarkholmes for this sighting. She spotted the new Limited Edition Candy Vibes Collection at Walgreens this week and was nice enough to share a pic:

These remind me of Mike and Ikes.

Loving this sparkly pastel gradient.

You know, I had really good luck with Revlon's Nail Art Strips (click here for my review) but those are made of actual nail polish, whereas the 3D nail appliques are vinyl stickers. I actually own a few boxes (I got them for a few bucks at Big Lots a while back) but I have yet to try them. Have you tried the Revlon nail appliques? If so, I would absolutely love to know how they worked for you.

PS: Beauty Geeks has a good how-to video here for applying Revlon's 3D Nail Appliques. Check it out for some tips.

Have you spotted the new Candy Vibes collection in your area yet? If so, I'd love to know what you think of the designs if you've seen them close up!

Thanks again, @roguedarkholme and Kratrina, for the great sighting and pic!

  1. I love nail strips but I have not been able to successfully apply them. They pucker due to the high arch/curve of my nail bed I can never get them to lay flat. :(

  2. I used one set of the Revlon-Marchesa appliques. They are thick, but lasted a few days and still looked pretty nice. I didn't top coat them, but I did run some top coat along the free edge of my nails to avoid separation. Removal was easy enough by peeling for me, but you'll need acetone to get little bits of goop off afterward. I also think that the sizes of the strips could be better... the ones I thought would fit my nails turned out to be too small once applied. Size up rather than down, for sure.

  3. I can't get the stickers to work, either. The only way I use them is to cut them up and use small pieces as accents. I don't usually bother.

  4. I can't wait to try them! I bought 2 sets, Gumdrops and Frosting. I am happy that they are stickers, as I will be able to use them in multiple manicures as accents!

  5. The first one looks like nonpareils (sp?, sry I'm too lazy to check.) I did like the hearts, gumballs, and mike & ike looking designs (oh yeah and the pastel plaid) until I saw them in person...they were vinyl like, way too shiny and thick looking for my taste. My nails actually feel suffocated, I don't care what they say about nails not really needing "to breathe", as I only once got a real gel mani and after I took it off my nails were like "ahhhhhh, air!!!"

  6. The nail strips that I have tried that aren't polish but are stickers have only been good for photographs, not for any real wear time.

  7. I saw these in CVS in Las Vegas last week and thought they were really pretty but I just wish they were less expensive! That's why I consistently pass them up. Even when they are clearanced I still think they are to $$.
