I had no idea that Pond's was planning to release one of their BB creams into the US market! Pond's offers a whitening BB cream in India, Thailand, the Philippines and other countries, but this is the first Pond's BB cream that I've seen in the US. Take a look:

As luck would have it, when I Googled this BB cream, I discovered that it's already on the Pond's US website (I have to interject here that I LOVE it when brands put their new products up on their website before they're even in most stores. So rare!).

Have you spotted this new BB Cream in your area yet? Thoughts?
Thanks so much, Abi, for the great sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!
reapply every 2 hours? what BB cream is this?
ReplyDeleteI would like to assume this is a tinted sunscreen and not a BB cream...
@rennie, this is standard for ANY product with sunscreen, and not just tinted moisturizers! This applies to any product that contains suncreen (moisturizers, foundations, BB creams, tinted moisturizers, etc.).
DeleteI can't think of a single product with suncreen (even the bottle of SPF44 moisturizer sitting on my desk right now) that DOESN'T say that you should re-apply every two hours.
Take a look at the directions on the Hard Candy CC Creme I reviewed a while back, just as an example:

And the Lumene BB Cream SPF20:

Anyway, Hope that helps! :D
SPF 15 isn't enough for my pasty white skin, but it's cool to have another option.
ReplyDeleteI might have interpreted incorrectly, but apparently it has a matte finish?! If it does it sounds like the perfect product for my oily skin!
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw that too and got very excited! :)
DeleteYou'd think the ones who get dark spots the most would have a few shades dedicated to them. No shade.
ReplyDeleteIsn't octinoxate linked to skin cancer? Titanium dioxide is great though.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds great but I'll try it when they have more shades. I doubt that medium would be dark enough for my skin tone. I love their Luminous line and I'm kind of disappointed the BB cream only comes in two shades.
ReplyDeletethis sounds pretty interesting! actually my cousin's from the philippines told me about this since they have the whitening one and asked if i have this in the US and wasn't sure.. i'll probably check this out if i spot it!
ReplyDeleteWalmarts are getting a 'sidekick' display of these. But, they are going FAST! I have only seen the medium shade on the regular aisles (also called 'inline').
ReplyDeleteI just purchased mine at CVS. The light shade fits my nc20-nc25 skin tone perfectly. It evens out my complexion. Can wear it on it's own or wear a lightweight foundation like Loreal Lumi or Neutrogena Healthy Skin, on top, for a bit more coverage -while looking natural. Ponds Bb has got it right. So much better than the so called Bb creams in the US- high end or drugstore that claim they are Bb creams, when they are tinted moisturizers being marketed as a BB.
ReplyDeleteBroke me out.
