L'Oreal Shine Caresse lipglosses have (possibly) landed at Target

Reader Sarah left a comment today on the You Tell Me page letting us know that she spotted the new Shine Caresses glosses (YSL Glossy Stain dupes) at her local Target in Ohio. We had a good-intentioned false alarm before, so Sarah, if you're reading this, please comment here and confirm that these were definitely the glosses and not the existing lipsticks (and thank you so much!).

I just wanted to put this out there in case you were thinking about heading to Target this weekend. If you spot them, please, please leave a comment here and let us know! This seems to be one of the most highly-anticipated product launches of the year, so I appreciate your help!

  1. They were definitely the lipglosses! The YSL dupe. I found them on an endcap above the new eyeshadow quads and concealer pencils...

  8. I checked a couple Targets in the LA area (Silverlake / Glendale for anyone around here) and they weren't out this morning, sadly. But I'll try again soon! And, someone posted a picture of them on a makeup forum I'm on - she said they put them out at her Target a couple days ago, so they are most definitely starting to pop up!

  9. I bought three at my Target on Friday. Love them!! They do have a scent to them though, but not enough for me not to wear them.
They were located on an end cap (the same spot that they used to have the Jemma Kidd items).

  10. Target always gets Loreal products first these days. I'm going to make a run to Target tomorrow. I want the red shade, and I hope in the US it's still called Juliet.

  11. Oh my goodness! I'm hitting up Target over the next few weeks to see if I can get my hands on one of those glosses. Thanks for the heads up! :)

  12. I also found them on an endcap at Target today. It looks like the names are different that what I have seen of the Canadian ones. I picked up 2. Endless Red and Infinite Fuchsia. The must have just put these out because the display was completely full, at least until I got to it.

    1. Oh no, what I loved the most was the unusual names. haha Why do they do this to us in America? It's like they think we need simple names for everything in the cosmetics aisle.

  16. No sightings yet at Targets in the Philly area. I asked at one and the SA said that they have them in the back but aren't allowed to put them out until after 12/30! What!?!?

  17. Update!!! They have arrived in the suburbs of Philly at CVS! Full price ($10.49?), but there are extra bucks with L'Oreal purchases this week. Yay!!

  19. Saw these at CVS tonight in western Philadelphia suburbs and bought two colors, Endless Red and Lilac Ever After. It was a 24 hour store. They tend to get the good stuff sooner.

  20. I found these at Fred Meyer in Puyallup, WA (176 and Meridian store) Display was untouched, until I got to it! =) I bought Lilac Ever After and Eternally Nude.

  21. I checked target for a week and found NOTHING. Harmon had it and I splurged today lol

  22. I stalked 3 Targets, 5 CVSs, and 2 Walgreens for a full week ... After deciding to give up and just wait, found the full display *nearly* untouched at the CVS by my work. (figures)

  23. Found them in NYC at the Duane Reade on the corner of 42nd and Lex. They're actually above the regular L'Oreal display next to the new concealer pencils and eyeshadow palettes.

  24. I found them at a Walgreens, but they were stocked in the wrong spot. They had them in the place of Infallible Plumping lip glosses. I was expecting a display like everyone else.

  25. Fount them at the Rite Aid on Meridian and Hamilton in San Jose. Full display until I got there. Is anyone kind of bothered that they don't have safety seals on them?

They also look about 2 shades darker on my lips than in the tube (the YSL ones typically darken on my lips as well).

  26. Found them at a Rite Aid in Virginia near Bailey's Crossroads! I picked up a few of them and they're GORGEOUS!

  27. Hmmm...I think I saw these at CVS today in a display with the new polishes & eyeshadow quads, but they were called "Colour Caresse" not "Shine Caresse"...Are they the same???
