A huge thanks to reader Laura for the heads-up about this one! Laura left a comment on the You Tell Me page today with links to the new L'Oreal Shine Caresse glosses and guess what? They look a lot like YSL Glossy Stains (retail: $32).
It appears that the new L'Oreal Shine Caresse line is only available in Europe at this time, but hopefully this collection will be hitting the US soon. Click here to see the dupe comparison. And click here to see additional swatches.
Thanks so much, Laura, for the great scoop and dupe alert! I really appreciate it!
OH! This is so exciting! :) I splurged at the beginning of the summer on a glossy stain but have resisted the urge to purchase another this fall/winter. I think I will hold out just in case they come here :) Fingers crossed for sure! :) Thank you for the info so much!
ReplyDeleteAll night I've been looking for a dupe of YSL #15 and then your post pops up in my Facebook feed! It's like you read my mind...and now I must wait rather impatiently. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI hope these come to the US I have not tried the YSL ones. The color payoff looks promising.
ReplyDeletewow!! the colors are so gorgeous and the packaging looks so classy! i cant wait for it to hit the US stands.
ReplyDeletewow!
ReplyDeleteI tried a YSL Glossy Stain at Sephora and was deeply impressed. I really hope that these are similar, and that they bring 'em state-side!
ReplyDeleteThese look beautiful! I hope they come to the US soon!
ReplyDeleteoooooo these look really nice! L'oreal packaging have gotten much nicer
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try the Caresse ones. I bet they're fairly similar because I read somewhere that L'Oreal owns YSL Beauty.
ReplyDeleteSame here....U are correct in that L'Oreal only purchased YSL Beaute in 2008, I think. Lets just hope that when they make their way to the US, we can buy them without getting to the store where people have opened and swatched all of them.
DeleteHopefully these will be sealed!
Deletethank you for linking to my posting :) i love the new shine caresse, a few weeks ago i bought also the princess and juliette shade, they are so loveley. especially juliette is so classy and perfect for the evening! definitely a ysl glossy stain dupe!
ReplyDeleteyours,
mirela from austria
Oh my god, these look awesome! Can't wait for them to show up!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I'm so excited about theses. Just yesterday I was thinking about buying the YSL version.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about these! I read about them a little while back, and I have been WAITING for them to hit the US. I heard a rumor that they might come this month (October) - I really hope it's true!
ReplyDeleteOh I sure hope they're making their way to the US!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until these hit stores here in the U.S. I don't normally like purchasing makeup from the drugstores without my trusty coupons, but I think I need these as soon as I can find them. Also the packaging is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes! I love the ysl glossy stains. These look quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I can't wait to try! It's funny because I was just thinking the other day about how the Caresse Lipstick packaging and fragrance is similar to YSL lipstick.
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly glad I waited on the YSL ones!!!!
ReplyDeletei want them so much!
ReplyDeleteI truly hope these come to the U.S., but don't hold your breath. There are many fabulous products available in Europe that we never get here. There is a L'Oreal lipstick that color-adapts to your lips that has been in the UK for at least a year and it doesn't look like we will ever see it. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteThese were already at my Walmart. But of course the one shade I wanted, there was only one left and it had been tested. :/ They were $7.98. No new display or anything; just in with the regular L'oreal lip products.
ReplyDeleteThese might have been in Harmon I was looking at Infallible lip glosses and there was something similar next to it.
ReplyDeleteThey weren't sealed at Walmart :( The UPC sticker was placed with half on the cap and half on the base, but it wasn't enough of a deterrent as every shade had obviously been tested. :/
ReplyDeleteoh. my. god. I have 4 of the YSL's and was just plotting my Sephora F&F purchase of more...may hold off now! Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteThese have landed! Run to your Targets ladies. I'm in WA. They are amazing. I've already accumulated 7 colors :)
