NOTE: as with all glitter nail polishes, I highly recommend using the Foil Method for removal of these polishes.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the final six Jordana Glitters Specialty Nail Polishes are now available for purchase on the Jordana website. It took a while for these polishes to become available, but I think it was definitely worth the wait!

These polishes are Big Three Free and made in the USA.

Without further ado, here are the final six shades in this collection, which were sent to me for review:

Jordana Glitters Specialty Nail Polishes
(retail: $2.99, 0.5 oz)

All of the following swatches were done WITHOUT top coat and in this order:

First nail: two coats of glitter polish
Second nail: one coat of glitter polish over a black creme polish
Third nail: one coat of glitter polish over a white creme polish

(These swatches were photographed in low light so that you could better see the glitter detail. In person, these polishes are much more sparkly.)

 CARNIVAL

A navy blue jelly? YES! If you look at the nail on the far right (one coat over white creme) you can really see the "jelliness" of this polish. It is absolutely stunning in person. I'll actually show you more swatches of this on my own fingers at the end of this post, as this polish definitely deserves some extra attention!

CONFETTI

This polish has a clear base with lots of magenta chunky hex glitter. The base is absolutely clear (no tint).

 Galaxy

This one is definitely for the silver lovers out there. Galaxy is so jam-packed with varying sizes of silver glitter that it's nearly opaque after just one coat. This one's much prettier and more sparkly in person.

 Red Flash

I thought I was over red glitters...until I swatched  Red Flash. The way the fine and chunky red glitters in this polish sparkle in the light is just lovely and I can't wait to wear this one on my toes. Like with Galaxy, this one is so densely packed with glitter that you get almost complete coverage with just one coat.

 Outer Space

What can I say about Outer Space, really? This combo of medium and chunky glitter just makes me smile. If you look to the nail on the far right (one coat over white creme), you'll see that the base color of this polish has a very faint pink tint to it.

 Purple Party

If chunky glitter isn't your thing, here's your invitation to the Purple Party. Oooh la la! Complete coverage in one coat, and no chunky glitter whatsoever. Check out the multi-colored sparkle in the pic below:

As promised at the beginning of this post, here's a closer look at the jelly goodness of Carnival:

I did this manicure QUICKLY so excuse the messiness. I just had to show you what ONE COAT of this polish looks like over a white creme. See all of that navy blue jelly? The glitter in this one looks like a jelly sandwich, after just ONE coat on top of white!

On my ring finger, I thought it would be fun to slap a matte top coat on top of this combo, so here's a closer look at that:

I think you can better see the "instant jelly sandwich" effect you can get with just one coat of Carnival over white in this photo.

As you can see, application is not perfect, and the jelly polish tends to pool up next to the glitter if you're not careful. But trust me me, this one's worth the patience. In person, the look is stunning and I cannot recommend it highly enough over one coat of white creme polish (two coats of this polish on its own makes the base color so dark you can hardly tell it's a jelly, although it's still pretty that way. I just prefer a more pronounced jelly look).

So, what do you think of the final six Jordana Glitters Specialty Nail Polishes? Were they worth the wait?

You can purchase all 24 Jordana Glitters Specialty Nail Polishes on the Jordana website. Kmart stores also sell select shades from this collection, so check your local Kmart as well.

  1. Carnival looks so good!! -wants-
I really like that you showed it over a white polish. I like that version best.

Galaxy looks cool. :D I like Outer Space & Purple Party too.

    1. I'm so glad you like the swatches over white! :) That's always one of my favorite ways to wear glitters!

    1. Good call!! I don't own ATU, but looking at swatches, the glitter looks IDENTICAL. It's hard to tell in photos if the base color is identical (some pics make the DL polish look more royal blue, while in others it looks navy) but they sure do look close! :)

  3. Carnival looks so awesome, but I don't understand why they aren't selling all of them in stores. Having to mail order is such a pain for some people. Oh, I also wanted to ask you how the large glitters are - do they curl at all, or are they flat on the nail? I'm thinking esp. of the red, copper and bronze. Thanks!!

    1. I don't know any of the details behind the distribution of these polishes, but I do know that space is limited when it comes to retailers, so maybe it's a size issue, since there are 24 shades in this collection? Perhaps Jordana had to limit the options down to the best sellers or something like that (just a guess).

Thanks for asking about the chunky glitter. I have not experienced any curling, with any of the polishes in this collection. They all lay down nicely on the nail.

  6. I am a girl who loves blue in any incarnation, but I am being drawn to Confetti! I am liking the simplicity of the 1 type of glitter and 1 color! I think I would be most likely to buy this one out of the group!!! Fun post G. Thank you!
