The Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales (4/22 - 4/28)

For a listing of the beauty sales at Ulta, Target and Kmart this week, please click here.

Lots to cover this week, so let's get right into it:

CVS shoppers: Four awesome deals this week: 1) Revlon Super Lustrous and ColorBurst lip colors (includes Lip Butters) are on sale for $6 and when you spend $10 on any Revlon cosmetics or beauty tools, you get $4 Extra Bucks. So let's break that down: buy 2 Lip Butters for $12 and get $4 Extra Bucks. After rewards, your total for 2 Lip Butters is $8, which makes that almost a BOGOFREE. And what's even better? The limit on the Extra Bucks deal is six! 2) Buy any Physicians Formula cosmetic and get $7 Extra Bucks. Look out for instant $$ off peelies on the boxes and/or rebates to maximize this deal. The limit on this Extra Bucks deal is one, so choose wisely! 3) Spend $25 on any L'Oreal cosmetics or haircare, get $10 Extra Bucks. L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, Colour Riche lip color (includes Balm) and lip liners are on sale for $5.99 each. So let's break that down: buy five Voluminous mascaras and/or Color Riche lip colors (any combination) and your total is $29.95. After Extra Bucks, your total drops to $19.95, which breaks down to $3.99 each for five items. Whenever they run deals like this, I always suggest printing out coupons from the L'Oreal site for even better savings (there's one for Colour Riche and one for any product) to use in conjunction with the sale (if you haven't already printed these coupons). If you use those coupons, your grand total after Extra Bucks drops down to $17.95 for five items ($3.59 each). Note: registration is required to access those coupons. And remember: coupon deductions are taken AFTER you have met the threshold for the Extra Bucks deal, not before. And finally, all Lumene skincare is buy one get one 75% off (excludes trial sizes)!

Rite Aid shoppers: All Wet n Wild cosmetics are 40% off this week, and that SHOULD include the limited edition Chrome, Be Jeweled and Neon Crackle polishes (but maybe not the Flora & Fauna kits--check with your store to be sure). AND, when you spend $10 on Wet n Wild you get $3 back in +UP! Also, all Revlon cosmetics are BOGO1/2OFF this week, and when you spend $15 on any Revlon cosmetics, beauty tools or ColorSilk hair color you get $5 back in +UP. If you haven't already used the Revlon Video Values coupons for April, NOW is the time to use 'em (there's a $2 off Lip Butter coupon, $2 off ColorStay Eyeshadow coupon and a $2 off PhotoReady Mousse coupon that would work beautifully with this sale). Speaking of Video Values coupons, if you're a fan of Samy Fat Hair products, you don't want to miss the deal this week: Samy Fat Hair shampoo, stylers or Fat Foam hair color are on sale for $8.99 with $5 back in +UP. AND, there's a Video Values coupon for $2 off any Fat Hair item, which would bring your total after rewards to $1.99 for a Fat Hair product! There's also a $3 off Fat Foam hair color coupon, which would bring you total after rewards down to just $0.99 for a Fat Foam hair color! I believe the limit is 2 on the +UP Rewards deal, so you can use both coupons if you want both of these deals this week.

Walgreens shoppers: This week, all Sinful Colors polishes are $0.99 each! Hopefully your location has the new shades I showed you here! Also, many L'Oreal face products are $9.99 this week, so be sure to print out the $1 off coupon on the L'Oreal site if you haven't already used it (as always, registration is required to access the coupons) to bring your total down to $8.99. And don't forget that through next Saturday, April 28th, all regularly-priced $0.99 items from Wet n Wild are on sale for $0.69. (Click here for more details.)

  2. For the spending $10 on Wet n Wild and getting $3 jn +UP, is $10 including the 40% sale or not?

    1. They always calculate the sale BEFORE the rewards. So in other words, you'll need to spend $10 on products AFTER the 40% off deduction in order to get the $3 +UP.

  3. I was just at Rite Aid and the new Wet n Wild is not included in tge 40%. Kinda misleading because the signage did say ALL.

    1. Sometimes they don't put the sale signs on the LE displays, but they come up on sale in the system. I've had that happen to me more than once. Did you ask a cashier to scan one of the LE products? Thanks!

  5. My local Walgreens had Garnier BB cream on sale for $9.99 plus a coupon only available at the makeup checkout counter for another $1 off thru 4/25.

  6. I bought some of the new WnW crackles at Rite Aid but they're definitely not included in the 40% sale (at least not in my area). I made sad puppy eyes and asked a manager to double check but to no avail. :)

    1. Whaaa?? I've heard of that happening at Walgreens before but never at RA! This is just me, but I would probably show them the ad and point out there are no exceptions, and see what the manager says. I would also ask them to call corporate customer service, just to see what they say. Of course I would do this very politely, but it never hurts to ask for more clarification. :)

  10. Mmm, I just got 3 of the Be Jeweled polishes at RA, so it figures WnW would be on sale this week. However, if they're not included I won't be as mad as I might be.

  11. Added onto my Sinful Colors collection yesterday. Found all of the Castaway collection except for Zeus (the one I really wanted!). The best find? A bottle of Green Ocean! No Wow! Pop! collection spotted at my local Walgreens yet, but there were more than one display for the neon colors at a few of the ones I stopped at.

  12. I just wanted to add that here in Southern CA, Wet n Wild's line is still 2/$3!

  13. The new Wet n Wild chromes did not ring up 40% off at my Rite Aid... boo! At least I had +UP rewards to use on them.

  15. I just got back from 2 CVS stores and Rite Aid store and got some hauls! Haha
At CVS, I scanned my extra bucks card and the scanner printed out some beauty coupons! A $3 off Physicians Formula Cosmetics, $5 off Revlon face cosmetics, and $1 off extra buck on anything. So I used the $3 off PF and $1 off for the shimmer strip gel eyeliner, I paid around $7 something and get a $7 extra bucks back! It's like I got that one almost for free! Then I used $7 extra bucks and the $5 off to buy a Revlon foundation, finally I paid $3 something on the foundation, and got $4 extra buck back (from buy $10 on any revlon product and get $4 back promotion)! Woohooo What a deal! Then I used that $4 coupon to buy another shade of Revlon Lip Butter, so I paid around $3-$4 on the lip butter! LOL

I went to Rite Aid and grabbed some Wet n Wild products cuz they are on sale %40 like you said and I got $6 Up+ back since I bought more than $20 on their products! And I bought Almay Makeup Remover for $4!

  18. Revlon came out with sweet treats collection, 8 LE nail polishes that are named and smell like desserts... can't wait for revlon to release a flakie collection and make it Permanent! Maybe get rid of those matte nail polishes from there line that r not in anymore :-)

    1. If you do a search on this blog, you'll see that Revlon IS releasing flakies and I also posted pics of the Sweet Treats collection.

  19. Oooh, this a a great week for the sales! I have a huge L'Oreal haul planned, and I'm going to pick up a bunch of Revlon and WnW, too. And take advantage of the PF $7 back--that's a nice one. My entire "fun" budget is going to makeup this week, LOL! My husband was laughing at me while I looked at makeup swatches and reviews trying to decide what I want. He also knows he will be subjected to a lot of makeup bragging and show-and-tell when I get home, where he will be expected to have enthusiastic replies about beautiful colors. He's a very sweet, patient man!
