Fellow Dollar Tree shoppers, I want you to be aware of something I personally just discovered:
Dollar Tree will ship products from their website to YOUR nearest Dollar Tree location FOR FREE. In other words, you can order from their site, have it shipped to your local Dollar Tree store for free, and pick it up yourself!
I just took a look at their beauty section and you must order these products by the case, but if you REALLY like certain products from e.l.f. or L.A. Colors, it might be worth your while to order in bulk (with free shipping!):
And in case you're wondering, I checked to see if they had the black stackable crates that I use to store my nail polish, but sadly they don't. Guess I have to keep buying those whenever I spot them at my local Dollar Tree. Too bad, because I would love to order them in bulk since my polish collection keeps expanding (hum, I wonder how that keeps happening?).
I love Dollar Tree!! Too bad you have to order by bulk though!
ReplyDeletefree shipping, but still a $4.95 "handling" fee. kinda the same thing, no? either way, still worth it to get your favorite products!
ReplyDeleteRainy Days and Lattes: Yeah, that WOULD be nice, huh?
ReplyDeleteEvaNadine: Wow, I totally missed that! Well...I still think it's fair if the weight of the package isvery heavy (with a case of something, it *could* be heavy) but yeah, that is sort of like shipping, but "reasonable" shipping, right? haha! I wouldn't think twice paying 5 bucks to get 30 of those black crates though. 35 bucks for endless room for my polish is still a great deal. Man, I wish they had those crates online!!
I haven't been to a dollar tree in a long time and wow...they'll ship for free to your nearest store? Impressive!
ReplyDeleteHi the black crate that you mentioned, I actually just bought two from my local Big Lots. If I remember correctly, the price was around $1.12 and they were running a pre "405 Carmageddon " sale last weekend and everything was 20% off! They have 4 to 5 different colors available. If you have a chance, check out your local Big Lots. They might have them too!
ReplyDeleteG. i have an idea for you to get your crates!! I used to work at Dollar Tree and we had forms in the store for bulk orders. If you still have the Dollar Tree stickers on the bottom of at least one of the crates you could possibly go into the store with it and ask if they could order you some. I say to bring one with the UPC on it still that way they will order you the correct product. I would suggest speaking with a store manager. If you don't have one with the UPC still on it, then I would suggest taking it in the store and asking if maybe they can somehow look it up and order it. Good luck and I will try to find out more info for you on this if you need it.
ReplyDeleteI see a few things that I'd consider buying in bulk and splitting the cost w/ a few of my girlfriends!
ReplyDeleteI hit the MOTHERLOAD at my local Dollar Tree...and have been back every few days to make sure I did not miss anything! I bought every pallet of LA Color's eye shadow. I am so glad I did...the colors are FABULOUS and for $1???? You cannot beat it. Thanks for the posting! I even bought some bronzer and blush!
ReplyDeleteI just popped in to say I also regularly buy those plastic crates at Big Lots in my area, so if you have Big Lots (also know as Odd Lots or Job Lots, I think, in other areas) you should check them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, not to get way off topic, but Dollar Tree has another store called "Savers" that is similar to Dollar Tree, but seems to carry somewhat nicer merch. Not sure if they are everywhere at this point, but we have them now in Georgia.
Looks like a lot of items are available in smaller quantities. Some that I saw were a small as 4 items.... thats not too bad when you think about it. I would buy 4 of most anything in Dollar Tree!
