I just wanted to post a quick update regarding the EcoTools info I posted about yesterday.
To clarify, the events in LA, DC and Chicago are in addition to the online event, which you may have missed. Here's the info once again:
After the enormously successful launch as the “Look Gorgeous, Love Green™” campaign in 2010, this effort returns for a second year as the “Choose to Live Beautifully” campaign (www.choosetolivebeautifully. com), to show women that they can treat themselves, and the planet, beautifully every day. Re-launching at the end of May 2011, and rolling out nationwide, EcoTools gives women the opportunity to make smarter beauty choices by swapping in their cosmetic supplies, in exchange for a coupon to try an EcoTools alternative that is earth friendly and luxurious.
HOW IT WORKS:
Mail in your new or used beauty item to the Choose to Live Beautifully Campaign. In return for your donated product, you will receive a coupon [valued up to $7.99; limit two coupons per person] for a complimentary EcoTools product.
The “Choose to Live Beautifully” campaign partner, RecycleBank® (www.recyclebank.com), will then recycle all donated products. Now that’s beauty you can feel good about!

Is the mail-in date over? The site doesn't list one that I can find. Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteRebecca: EcoTools' PR confirmed for me that the mail-in offer ends September 1st.
ReplyDeleteOoo interesting! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhen they say "body washes and scrubs" I suppose they mean the bottle instead of the actual product, right?
ReplyDeleteKarin: It's empty, used or new product that you must send to them. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "actual product", but if you mean something like, "Can you pour a body lotion into a ziplock bag and send that in?" then I'm pretty sure the answer is no. You CAN, however, send them the empty bottle of body wash. Does that help?
ReplyDeleteThank you for this notice! I love Ecotools but would like a few more. I cannot wait to get rid of the junk I don't use!
