The most helpful online beauty product resource I've found in years

Everyone's probably heard of or visited an Urban Outfitters, right? And you may have visited their website as well. But did you know that they have a newly-launched beauty section that features brands such as NYX, Demeter, Stila, Paul & Joe, Ana Sui, and tons of other cool beauty brands?

BUT WAIT! Before you get all click-happy and click over to the site (which you can do by clicking the image below) I need to tell you the very coolest part about the Urban Outfitters new beauty shop. Are you sitting down? OK good:

All of the beauty products on the site feature REAL photos of each item and there's a photo of every SHADE of every item (not a computer-generated swatch that looks nothing like the real color)!

So take NYX for example. If you click on the NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils, you can then click on every shade available and a REAL photo of that shade will pop up! AND, you can even on a color and view a close-up of that particular shade. BRILLIANT! Seriously, the Urban Outfitters beauty site has got to be one of the most useful and helpful sites around when it comes to seeing real product and real colors. It's a beauty-resource GOLDMINE!

Nail polish lovers will find this site particularly useful! A perfect example: look at how you can see the details of each polish on the NYX Nail Art page! And for someone like me who hasn't been into an Urban Outfitters store in a while, it's wonderful that I can now see the complete collection of Urban Outfitters nail polish up close and in REAL photos before I make a purchase. Love this!

And for those of us who like a daily dose of "packaging porn" (thanks, weheartthis, for that hilarious term used to describe packaging that is so beautiful it makes us all giddy inside) you can always peruse, up close and personal, the beauty that is Paul & Joe. Have you ever seen a more lovely tube of lipgloss (and box) than this?

And of course who doesn't want to look at close-ups photos of Stila Lip Glaze colors and eyeshadows instead of inaccurate swatches like you find most everywhere else? I could go on and on but I'll let you discover the wonders of the Urban Outfitters beauty site on your own. Even if you can't or don't want to buy anything at the moment, this is still a fabulous resource for viewing real photos of beauty products and it can only get better as Urban Outfitters adds more brands to their store.
