This week's question came to me in the shower a few days ago, and I had to jot it down so that I wouldn't forget it. I can't wait to see your answers in the comments!
At this very minute, how many bottles of hair care and body care products do you have in your shower?
I'm going to be brave and tell you exactly how many are in my shower right now: 37. No excuses--it's ridiculous, I know, but I am testing several shampoos and conditioners for future reviews, so please keep that in mind. :) Now you tell me, how many bottles of product are in your shower right now?
Wow, 37!!! I have one shampoo, one conditioner (Jason thin to thick which is amazing), a bar of Villainess for Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Snake Oil Soap, a jar of Villainess Lehua smooch in shower body moisturizer and tube of luminous ginseng facial scrub. That's it.
ReplyDelete37 is a lot! I have I think 9. Can't check for sure because hubby is sleeping. Although, if you ask how many I have total in my bathroom cabinet, THAT is a shocking number. Way more than anybody needs.

ReplyDeletei suspect that your bathroom is much roomier and more awesome than mine! mine has 2 bottles of my own (Dove bodywash, Suave shampoo), one bottle of hubby's (Pert), and a few bars of soap. that's it. and i'd say at most, with skinny bottles, it could hold maybe 7. but it never has.
oh, and one canister of shaving cream for me, making it 3 bottles.
37, good god woman! I have one shampoo and one conditioner, plus that Aussie 3 minute stuff. I have some bars of soap and body scrubs, maybe 6, from Haus of Gloi, and then I have 2 BABW foam washes, and a Hello Kitty one. And a bath sponge thingy with Hello Hitty's head on it ^_^
ReplyDeleteAlso, FYI, I just saw in a magazine an ad for Suave Naturals lotions- they have new ones that are dupes of BABW scents. They have a scratch and sniff for the Mango Mandarin, and it did smell just like BABW. Thought you might want to know! :)

13 bottles (6 shampoos, 3 conditioners, 2 facial scrubs, 2 shower gels) + 2 bars of soap & 1 shaving cream. I thought I had a lot but I guess not.

ReplyDeleteI have about 4. A lush body wash. A John Frieda Shampoo, A John Frieda Conditioner, and a Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner (to me this is like a lazy day shampoo--I dunno lol)
Yeah 37! I wish I had that much room in my shower! Well I guess if I lined them all up on the edge I could fit them. I have 22 , That includes two baby shampoos for my daughter

ReplyDeleteah I wish i had a big bathroom but i have 2 shampoos, 2 conditioners, 2 body wash, 1 in shower lotion, 1 face scrub, 1 shaving gel so thats 9 and hubby has 3!! ok i like this question wow i have alot. Lol!
ReplyDeleteI have my shampoo, conditioner, and bar of soap in my shower (all grapefruit and lemongrass. Thanks Dove!) Then I also have my moroccanoil to make my hair nice and shiny :D

Almost empty bottle of the Giovanni Green Tea Conditioner (5)
Half empty tube of the Palmer's Coconut Oil Deep Conditioner (6)
3/4 full bottle of a discontinued Kiss My Face Green Tea & Lime Conditioner (7)
2 full bottles of Sunsilk Long & Strong Shampoo (9)
Add to that our dog's shampoo and conditioner -- for a grand total of 11 products.
There's also 2 bottles of body wash (Dove for me, Ivory for the hubs) and a bottle of facial wash.
So we have 14 products inside our shower.
No wonder its getting crowded!!!

8 shower gels, 2 scrubs, 4 shampoos and 2 conditioners. That is what I have in the bathroom. I have a shelf that I store my items for rotation. I'm trying to be good and use things up. It's sort of working.

ReplyDeleteOK ladies, I really need to clarify! Some of the bottles are small sample/tester size, but I do have a rather large bathroom caddy (the kind that hangs over your shower nozzle) and that caddy has four shelves. So I can stack A LOT in that sucker. Plus, I have a window in my shower, and the window has a ledge, which means I can put over a dozen bottles on the window ledge without it feeling cramped inside the bathtub. Then in the actual tub, I have a lot of room on all four corners of the tub, so I can put several bottles in each corner if I really need to. So it sounds like a lot, but I swear it's all spaced out and it doesn't *feel* like it's overflowing. Although, compared to some of your showers, YOU might think it feels cramped in my tub! lol! What can I say? I'm a bath and body junkie and I LOOOVE to have options every time I take a shower/bath. :D

ReplyDeleteeven when i finally upgrade to a bigger bathroom, i couldn't possibly have that many on the go. 2 reasons:
1- i'd never use anything up, and
2- i would break my neck! heck, i trip on my own toes, and i'm forever dropping stuff in the shower!
we've just got a shower with one small metal rack, and on that i have one small bottle each of shiseido supermild shampoo and conditioner, one deep conditioning treatment, half a bar of soap, and like four face washes (two of which are almost empty). think i'm doing pretty good here! i used to have lots of bottle clutter but i prefer to minimize.

ReplyDeleteMine is dead simple. One shampoo, one conditioner & one bodywash, for me & my husband both. Oh, and a bar of Dove soap so I can wash my face :)
I have 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 deep conditioner, a shaving gel, a face scrub, and about 10 body washes. The body washes are way toned down, there used to be more like 15 or so. I do have a t-gel shampoo and a clarifying shampoo in my closet though. I also have a lot of shelving -- about 6 shelves along the wall (that depending on size can fit 3-6 bottles) and one bar that I can put the hanging avon type bottles in there when I use those.

Gosh... I have 42... I have 5 shampoos, 4 conditioners,1 deep conditioner, 3 body washes, 2 shaving cream, 6 bubble baths, 2 face scrubs, 2 tubes of toothpaste, and 1 bottle of nail polish remover and 4 small pkgs of shampoo samplers. My husband has 2 body washes, 3 shampoos, and 5 travel bottles of H&S. Plus I have 1 bottle of cat shampoo and 1 bottle of dog shampoo.
ReplyDeleteI have the majority in a window but I also have a stand that fits in the corner with 4 shelves and an across the tub kinda shelf that I keep a few things.
