First off, I want to apologize for falling behind on responding to comments again this week. You all contribute SO much to this blog and it wouldn't be nearly as fun, interesting or informative if it weren't for your comments. These crazy drugstore sales have taken up a lot of my time in recent days, and I've found myself scrambling to post helpful info as soon as I can, so that's why I'm behind. If you have posted a question that you have not received a response to, I am SO sorry and I'll try my best to respond asap!
That said, I have some more important info that I want to tell you about regarding all of these crazy drugstore beauty sales we've been talking about lately!
CVS: By now you've seen all of my crazy 75% off beauty sale posts but I want to be sure that before you go, you not only print out the $1 off L'Oreal coupons available at
CVS.com (located on page 8 of the coupon section) but also be sure to print out the $3 off 2 L'Oreal products coupon that's available at
lorealparis.com. There's also a $1 off any Color Riche lipstick on the site, so print that one out as well if you want to buy one of the 75% off Color Riche lipsticks (there are TONS of shades available). Thanks to several of my lovely readers for telling me about the lorealparis.com coupons!
Walgreens: Starting TODAY, all Rimmel products (yes, EVERYTHING) is 50% off. Thanks to the lovely cashier at my Walgreens for giving me this heads-up a few days ago when I tried to buy one of the new Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks. She told me to wait, so guess who is going back to Walgreens today to get one? Also, be sure to shop around and look for other clearance items (I listed what I was able to find
here). And if you have any extra Register Rewards lying around, now is the time to use them! You can snag yourself some free stuff!
Rite Aid: As the lovely
Jeweled Thumb pointed out a few days ago, it appears that not all Rite Aid cashiers are remembering to hand out game pieces for the Rite Aid Game of Life game that's currently underway (
click here for my previous post about Rite Aid's The Game of Life). So if you buy anything at Rite Aid, be SURE to ask for your game pieces! If you don't get them, you're missing your chance to win several amazing prizes, plus little INSTANT prizes too. Last week when I was at Rite Aid I purchased enough items to snag five game pieces without even trying, and inside my game pieces I got two 50-cent off coupons for any Rite Aid brand items, plus I was an instant winner of two additional game pieces! Every penny counts, so definitely be sure to remember to ask for those game pieces!

ReplyDeleteGirl, I went back to cvs for the 3rd time last night LMAO! I went to the one by my part time job by the Beverly Center mall here in L.A. OMG! They had tons of stuff on sale. Almost all their Rimmel stuff are on sale for 75% except for one kind of mascara and their stay matte foundation. I also got me some more Physicians formula lipglosses and eyeliners because they are so amazing!!

Thanks for the reminders. I went to CVS yesterday & the mgr informed me that he requisitioned the green stickers, but never received them. I was relegated to using the price checker to obtain my bargains. Not a problem! I was only able to get one of the HiP Crayons in the gold color. All of the others came up regular price. He told me that their were only sales on the discontinued items which they were no longer carrying. This perplexed me because I've seen in other people's posts that they were able to get the other colors of the crayons. (sad face) I p/u 2 of the paints. @ Rite Aid, I totally forgot to get my game pieces. I was entitled to 3 & have a good mind to request them during my next visit. LOL I keep seeing on YT that the 75% off sale was done on 1/9. In Rite Aid, most of their 75% off stuff was boxed up yesterday aftn. ??? CAn't wait to see your milani stuff!

ReplyDeleteYou should know, though, that Ulta has their automatic lip liner pens for $1 this week. So in case you have an Ulta around there, that's definitely a can't-pass-up deal.
Rimmel lip products are not 50% at Walgreens. But everything else from the line is on sale though.

Which reminds me, I need to go look up the weekly circular. The stupid paper people around here refuse to put them in the papers anymore. lol

I had no idea that the delay in stickering might actually have to do with the store's ability to get the darn stickers! Well, their loss is our gain because you know the minute those stickers get placed on the items they will be snatched up like wildfire. So enjoy your sticker-free clearance goodies while you can! But that IS very strange that your location didn't have all shades of that crayon on clearance. Every single location I've been to has had them all on sale. Also, I was at CVS yesterday and the sale was still going strong. So that's weird that people are saying it ended. As for Rite Aid, I never saw a large-scale 75% off sale at my locations to begin with. Just the usual clearance stickers on select products. Hum...
Denise: I am SO bummed that she gave me the wrong info! I wasn't able to get over to Walgreens yesterday like I wanted to, but now I hope that the new lipstick I was about to purchase, but didn't because I was told to wait for the sale, is still available and not sold out. That would really suck. And thanks for the Ulta heads-up! The closest Ulta to me is still quite a drive so I don't think I'll be able to take advantage of these deals myself, but it's still fantastic to hear about them! :)

Sandi: You know, I think that Walgreens decided to scale back on the weekly circulars in an effort to go greener. I remember a while back they were really pushing everyone to sign up online to receive the electronic circular (which I did) and I find it VERY convenient to get the circular via email once a week. You should sign up for if you haven't already! Also, of course I would LOVE to hear about the deals you're able to spot at your local Walgreens, so please keep me posted? :)

beautifulmonday: Ooooh, well don't forget to take advantage of the 75% off holiday chocolates while you're there! I was able to get full-size bags of M&Ms for 99 cents the other day. lol! And happy anniversary in advance! It looks like we'll both be celebrating on that day because it's also the season premiere of Lost (my all-time favorite show). lol! :)

ReplyDeleteThe other night I went to pick up my roommate (he works in the pharmacy at CVS) and got a Revlon matte lipstick in Strawberry Suede, and a Garnet Gems Milani nail polish.
Tonight I went and got a L'oreal Colour Riche lipstick in Tawny, which turns out to be the most perfect nude for me! It's not TOO nude, if you know what I mean. And it has pink undertones. And I got a Milani quad in browns and greens, which is great on me. And I got a L'oreal Colour Juice lip gloss in a reddish color which is another surprisingly nice color for me (I tend to have almost as many misses as hits when choosing colors for myself). And finally one of those L'oreal paints, which I've been wanting for probably a year or more! I should see if the jelly balms are on sale...
At my CVS a lot of the stuff has stickers, but the Garnet Gems nail polish didn't (some of the other Milani nail polishes did), and the HiP paint didn't (none of them did). And none of the Physicians Formula stuff was ringing up on sale. I forgot the $3 off two L'oreal products coupons tonight, so I'm gonna go back tomorrow and grab some more stuff!
Anyway, thanks a ton! Oh, and I never did post to thank you for your review on the Revlon Color Burst lipsticks. They actually sounded like the kind of thing I'd like, so I got two, but the colors I got were rather lackluster for me. :( Oh well, by going on a Saturday night when both the previous and the next week sales were going, I spent $9 for two lipsticks and a body wash and I think a bag of those Dove peppermint bark candies (used a couple coupons), and got back $15 in extra bucks! You should definitely try Saturday night shopping at CVS.

ReplyDeleteSome was stickered, most was not so I had to scan back & forth.
I also spotted some Maybelline Glosses & Lipsticks 50% Off in there, that weren't marked down on my last trip.
They had all the Milani stuff in stock so I got more quads.
And the crazy thing is I stumbled across the N.Y.C. Chrome Collection that they still had in there. There was 1 n.y.c. chrome face glow left & I may go back to get it. But I was shocked it wasn't marked down since that collection was like from 2008-ish!!! lol
Ladies, thank you SO much for new CVS reports! This is so helpful and awesome to read! I know that others are reading these comments and it's helping them a ton as well. So thank you for taking the time to leave these comments--I know it's a pain sometimes to list everything you bought but it means the world to me!!

CVS in Imperial Beach (just off of Palm-same area as Jack in the Box) still has plenty of goodies on sale. Out of the lighter shades but if you are medium to dark (such as myself) there are plenty of cosmetics with 50% and 75% off stickers.
