UPDATE: click here to view Jessica at Beautezine's coverage of the new 2013 products with lot of photos and additional info.

With the recent frenzy of new 2013 drugstore beauty products headed our way, I thought it might be helpful to do a round-up of everything we know about so far from L'Oreal, with links and other info. So here we go:

L'Oreal 2013 Product Launches (I do not know when we will see these products in stores)

Colour Riche Eyeshadow Quads (already surfacing in stores)
Colour Riche Shine Caresse Shine Stain Colors (YSL Glossy Stain dupes)
Visible Lift Colour Blushes
Colour Riche Nail Colors (new shades)
Infallible The Super Slim 12H Eyeliners
True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealers
Nail Lingerie (new designs)
Age Perfect Instant Glow BB Cream
Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara
Voluminous 24H Black Smoke Mascara
Advanced Haircare line (click here for pics and info)
Elnett Satin Heat Sprays
Healthy Look Crème Color Gloss Hair Color
Cellular Renaissance Skincare

I already posted a link to this pic a little while ago, but if you missed it, you can see a photo of the new blushes, jumbo concealer pencils, Nail Lingerie and some of the new nail color shades here.

Also, my pal Halifax of Sparkled Beauty shared a link to a video made by a Canadian beauty blogger who attended a preview event and she shows you some of the products listed above (including the new BB cream and mascara). Click here to view the video.

Whew! Lots of new things on the horizon, huh? Are you excited about anything in particular?

  1. I swatched & reviewed 2 of the new quads on the blog yesterday (neon skirt & so over it!) & am not impressed. I really liked the top shade in both though! Love the lippies, reviewing those next! Great texture!

  3. Hi, wanted to let you know that I've read that Loreal will also be launching a new skincare line called Cellular Renaissance in January 2013. If you need any link for news of this, just Google the new line's name. Julianne Moore is supposed to be the face of it for next year. And I also greatly enjoy your blog - please keep it up!

  4. I'm not impressed with the packaging. I guess it's an upgrade from their old ones but it just reminds me of Milani gold, which is tacky looking(I would like to add that I love their products, just not their bulky cheesy packaging)... When I first saw the photos it didn't look too bad but then I found them in store and yeah, just think it could be better. I have not yet tried the caresse lipsticks but I want to. Excited for the glossed to come to US, they look very promising.

  6. Tried out the new telescopic shocking extensions mascara. I like it a lot. I had tried the older versions, but had issues with the super wet formula weighing my lashes down and making them go flat as well as flaking.. this formula does neither. I had no problems with smudging either. Nice thin brush which makes it easy to get the back sides of the lashes and into the corners, as well as lower lashes. When dry it is not crunchy, but is slightly stiff which is probably why it is doing a better job at keeping the lashes from drooping. It is very lengthening, and builds really well without clumps. Of course you do not get much volume, but that is easily fixed by the addition of a volume mascara on top. I really love the packaging as well, it is a gunmetal chrome which reminds me a lot of the PF nude liners if you are familiar with those, very classy.

I also tried out the voluminous million lashes, hoping it would be a good companion to add volume. I found it reminded me a lot of the new CG clump crusher with it's great separation, leaves a very fluttery lash, but I much prefer the brush of the million lashes. It is not curved, much thicker, and comes to a very nice point at the end.. so much easier to get into corners. I find the clump crusher very hard to control without making a mess, probably because I have quite small hooded eyes. I found it did not give a tremendous amount of volume though. I had no problems with it creasing or smudging either. While it did not do the job I was hoping for I think it would be a great "one product" mascara with a good balance between length, volume, and separation.

  7. Does anyone know when the concealer crayons will be in stores? I went looking for them this morning thinking they were out already. No such luck.

  8. Much nicer shades than the first Kate/Rimmel collaboration, too.
