UPDATE: additional photos, swatches and shade names have been added to this post.
I was literally just chatting with a few of you on Facebook the other day about the possibility of Wet n Wild fall nail color collections. I had mentioned that I didn't know of any new nail collections on the horizon, and then just about an hour ago, reader Nicole shared with me this brand new collection. Wow!

Nicole (who has an adorable craft blog, by the way) spotted the new Pick Your Poison collection at her local Fred Meyer store and was nice enough to share:

Wet n Wild Pick Your Poison Megalast Nail Color Collection
(retail: $1.99 each)
"Intoxicating metallic shades provide 5 days of chip-resistant wear."
This collection consists of six jewel-toned shades, and I don't know if it's limited edition (limited edition WnW collections usually say "limited edition" on the display, but this one doesn't). I'm assuming it is LE though I could very well be wrong!

Blacked Gray - Venomous Vixen
Green - Poison Ivy
Gold - Deadly Dose

Thanks so much, Nicole, for the great sighting and pics!
Wet n Wild fans: what do you think of this new fall collection? It doesn't offer the assortment of finishes that we saw in last year's On The Prowl collection (Fall 2011), but maybe WnW also has a collection of LE Fast Dry polishes in store for us soon? You know that the minute I hear anything, you'll be the first to know!
Yaay ! love Wet N Wild MegaLast polishes!!!
ReplyDeleteWant!
ReplyDeleteThese just may tempt me, horrid brushes and all. :D

ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I got some close up photos of the Fantasy Makers nail polish strips. Do you want them, and if so, what I te best way to send them to you?

ReplyDeleteYay can't wait! I love that I can buy the whole collection for 12$ woo woo
ReplyDeleteJust what I needed---more nail polish!! LOL. That gorgeous blue on the upper left is calling me. I guess for $2. I can still afford one. I may have to stop reading your blog, G, if you insist on tempting me like this! ;)

ReplyDeleteI spy three shades I definitely want.
ReplyDeleteOh ladies, I am already hunting several other displays at the moment....there aren't enough hours in the day! What a great problem to have lol. That green and blue look gorgeous! I'm interested to see that color on the back right-hand side too!
ReplyDeleteThe one on the far right (middle row) looks different in the 2 pictures, so I'm hoping it's duochrome!
ReplyDeleteYou probably already posted something about this but I just saw a Sinful Colors metallic polish collection too at Walgreens tonight with new colors in it. Metallics are everywhere for Fall this year ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope I can find this at a drugstore!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a fred meyer :C
I know! There used to be Fred Meyers in Utah, but then Kroger bought them out. Boo.

ReplyDeleteOk if i must pick....maybe just the blue.........nope! I need them all! *_*
ReplyDeleteI just love fall colors. So glad to get away from all the brights and pastels and back to some pretty deep, jewel tones!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping they'd come out with more of these ! I hope I come across them !
ReplyDeleteI want them to bring back 415A. They should call it that, too, so we know it's the real deal :p
ReplyDeleteExciting news!!! My hometown never got any On The Prowl last fall so I hope to find this one! I think I am liking that green that I see! That is my fall mission...more great greens! :)
ReplyDeleteI want the gold one and the green one. I hope the gold is really opaque.
ReplyDeleteI hope these come to my area. Last year I searched hi and low for the On the Prowl collection and couldn't find it any where :(
ReplyDeleteI hope these come to my area. Last year I searched hi and low for the On the Prowl collection and didn't find it :(
ReplyDeleteI'd have to see them in person. From the pics, I have most of these colors in other brands already. (mainly sinful) The blue and green especially.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the dark greens that are out this fall! Can't wait to try them myself :)
ReplyDeleteThat blue looks amazing! ♥
ReplyDeleteWANT! I love WnW and hope to see this in stores around here soon. I can't decide which ones I want until I see them in person, but I am guessing that for $12 I'll get them all. lol
ReplyDeleteMy thought when seeing the sharp nails: Somebody's gonna put an eye out!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen these but just saw the new set of Sinful Colors Metallics at Walgreen's. Several are very similar to each other but all are pretty. Almost bought the green one and might go back and get it.
OMG, I didn't notice that before. Ouch!!!
DeleteSounds nice! I hope they come out in my area! Nyu! We didn't get the Be Jeweled polishes at all so I had to go around on the net for them, hoping this line makes it into my stores! And Lords, exactly on the finding polishes thing, I felt the same way about finding Be Jeweled.
ReplyDeleteForgot, I will keep a look out ffor the Sinful versions since I love Sinful once again!
ReplyDeleteHi G :) thanks for this post! Thanks too for turning me on to Wet n'Wild Megalast Polishes. Of all I have, the Megalast has become my favorite over all of the brands I have. I love the colors, the polish itself and best of all, I love the brush! It is all I want from a polish. I shop at my local Rite Aid, use their store discount card, called the 'Wellness Card' and now get 20% off any and all purchases. My cost on Megalast is $1.59 each. You accumulate points for purchases (including prescriptions filled) and get a discount from the tier, you get to by points. I am so looking forward to the Pick Your Poison collection! I hope you have a great weekend! Be safe, God bless!
ReplyDeletePinky
If I see these make their way to my local Walgreens, I might have to put my rewards cash to good use - that royal blue is calling my name...pretty sure I won't be able to resist the other colors either :P
ReplyDeleteyay... i found the display yesterday and bought the blue and green. they are really gorgeous. haven't tried on yet, but soon. the display was pretty much picked over, but i hope to find the purple. love your blog.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if there are any existing colours in the display or are they all new ones
Thanks!
I haven't seen this collection yet, but I will be all over it when I do! Those jewel tone shades are right up my alley! Thanks G, and everyone else for the pics. ;)
ReplyDeleteOooh the colors sound so inviting! I ccan't seem to know which one I want the most! XD
ReplyDeleteMy store finally got these polishes this week, but the display looks nothing like the one pictured. They were on a HUGE display that also contained a few Fast Dry and Wild Shine shades (though none of those were new shades). I found it on the side of the beauty counter/register where the large Sinful Colors display (with the infamous booklets) once was. Along with the polishes were all the other Halloween-themed WNW products.
ReplyDeleteOops I forgot to mention that this was at Walgreens.
ReplyDeleteI found a these at a Walgreen's today on a Fantasy Makers display and pick up 33903 Root of All Evil.
