I've got LOTS to cover in this sightings post so let's get right into it!

Reader Maureen spotted Chanel and YSL cosmetics at her local T.J.Maxx and shared the above pic and some other helpful info. The products she spotted at her location:
Between $14.99 and $24:99:
Assorted Chanel nail lacquers and eye liners
Assorted YSL eyeliners and eyebrow pencils
And thanks to readers' comments, here are some additional products currently being spotted at T.J.Maxx:
Guerlain Terracotta Mineral Loose Bronzing Powder in 01 Light (comes with mini kabuki): $29
Guerlain Rouge Automatique in #170 NUIT D'amour: $19.99
Guerlain Parure de Nuit shimmer powder: (price unknown)
Clarins Multi-Blush in Tender Lychee and Tender Apricot: $9.99 (no links to retailers because these are discontinued--here are links to Makeup Alley reviews: Tender Lichee and Tender Apricot)
Clarins Joli Rouge Longwearing Moisturizing Lipstick in Cupid Red: $6.99
Korres Sunflower & Evening Primrose eyeshadow quad in Cool (link is to Strawberrynet as this is discontinued): $7.99
Korres Sunflower & Evening Primrose Eyeshadow Quad in Natural (link is to Strawberrynet as this is discontinued): $7.99
Assorted Pacifica and Andalou Naturals body products: under $9.99 (you can check out my Andalou Naturals reviews here for more info on this brand).

Melissa spotted the Organic Wear loose powders above for $3.99 and the following PF 3-piece set for $6.99:

I also spotted the PF sets myself the other day at a local Ross but, as you can see, the sets at my location were slightly different (CoverTox Ten powder instead of the Mineral Eyeshadow Duo):
Here are some other things I spotted at my local Ross stores recently:
Pretty Woman Salon Nail Foils for $4.99
Broadway Nails Fashion Diva Color Changing Nails for $1.99
Garnier The Brusher Gel Cleanser for $3.99
(I've heard these have also been spotted at Dollar Tree along with other Garnier skincare products)
L.A. Colors Color Craze Mini Polish Set
(I don't recall the price but I THINK it was $4.99)
Sally Hansen 5-piece polish sets for $5.99
(I still haven't found the SH Nail Prisms that others have spotted at Ross, so it's a good thing I picked them up when they surfaced at Dollar Tree last year!)
Sally Hansen Cuticle Pusher + Gel Remover kits for $2.49
Various L.A. Girl Mascaras for $3.99 each
Maybelline XXL Pro Mascara for $3.99
Another display of Cosmetic Arts polishes ($1.99 each)
L.A. Colors Art Deco nail art sets (in the background)
L.A. Colors Limited Edition Fairytale Color Craze Collection (front)
I don't remember the exact price on these kits, but I think they were $5.99 each (I know they weren't much more than that). Also, the colors in the Fairytale set all look like cremes in my photo, but they are all actually quite sparkly/metallic and the second shade on the left is a very pretty taupe.
Salon Express Nail Art Stamping Kit for $6.99
NOTE: I want to apologize if you sent me pics of this kit that you spotted in your area. A few months ago, I received a flood of pics from readers who had spotted this kit at various locations, and I wish I had done a post then but I just didn't get to it as planned. So again, I apologize if you sent a pic and I didn't use it!
I know that A LOT of you have told me that you've been finding this kit at Target, Ross, Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Big Lots etc. over the past several months since I posted my review. At many retailers, the price has dropped to around $7, so there's no reason to pay the full retail price of $9.99 anymore if you're willing to do a little hunting. HOWEVER, I wanted to call to your attention that SOME of the kits out there (in addition to having different plates than what you see on the packaging) ALSO have a different stamper. In my review, you'll notice that the stamper in my kit is a double-ended stamper with a larger end and a smaller end. SOME of the kits now floating around have the stamper you see above, which is just a SINGLE stamper. So beware of that in case you're looking forward to getting the double-ended stamper!
Speaking of which, reader Joanna just spotted this kit at her local Big Lots for $6.50 so I'm happy to report they're still there (I know they were spotted there a few months ago by some of you):

As you can see, the kits at Big Lots contain the single stamper too. HOWEVER, I've seen the double-ended stampers in SOME of the kits at both Ross and Big Lots, so if you want the double-ended stamper, try digging through all the kits on the rack and hopefully you'll find it.
And last but not least, I FINALLY got one of the The Balm kits at a local Marshalls:
For almost a YEAR now, I've been hearing from readers who have spotted many types The Balm Cosmetics at Marshalls (again, sorry if you sent pics and I didn't post them!). I know that kits like the one above, and also individual cosmetics and nail color have been spotted at Marshalls stores across the nation over the past several months, and I know that this is incredibly old news to many of you. But the reason why I'm sharing it today is because these kits JUST popped up in my area a few weeks ago! So if you too haven't been able to find them in your area and you've been searching in vain for months, THERE'S STILL HOPE!
I decided to get the For Green Eyes kit (although there were several other kits to choose from) and here are the details:
These are all full-size products that are not a collection of now-discontinued products from The Balm. Every product in this kit is currently available on The Balm's website and I've included their individual retail prices with links below:

Cheater! Mascara: $18 retail
Shady Lady Eyeshadow in Just This Once Jamie: $16 retail
Shady Lady Eyeshadow in Curvy Cami: $16 retail
Overshadow in Work is Overrated: $15 retail
Balms Away Eye Makeup Remover: $20 retail
The full retail price of these products if purchased separately: $85! So to pay $9.99 for this kit is just plain insane, right? I'll be doing a mini-review with swatches of this kit later today if you're interested.
Thanks so much, Maureen, Melissa and Joanna for the great sightings and pics!
Have YOU spotted any of these great beauty deals in YOUR area lately? Or anything other great deals you'd like to share with us from Ross, Marshalls or TJ Maxx?
omgoshhh. how much were the ysl and chanel items at tj maxx? thanks for the awesome pics. Now I have to visit tj maxx :)
ReplyDeleteholy moly! Need to head to my tj maxx asap!
ReplyDeletehow much was the chanel bronzer????
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering the same thing!
DeletePlease see Maureen's comment below. :)
DeleteBoth of the Chanel bronzers are $34.99. The YSL #19 eye shadow quad is $34.99 also. The others were between $14.99-$24.99.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the info!! I'll update the post now. :)
DeleteI sooo want the Chanel things!!!
ReplyDeleteI havent tried Physician Formula losse powder,,, Is it worth buying it?
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried these particular ones, but i've heard good things about their other loose powders. Sorry!
DeleteThis upcomming week July 1st CVS will be having a sale in Physicians Formula $7 off any $7 or more item, and theres eyeshadows for $7.49, concelears $7.99. Plus you can use ur cupons.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that deal when I was working on my weekly drugstore makeup post (which I post every Saturday). Thanks for sharing. :)
DeleteI ran out and got the double ended stamper at my local Big Lots. I hear the double ended one is better than the single ended one. For $6.50 I figured it was worth it. Since Ross was across the street I checked there too and they had both versions but for $6.99
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you found both as well!!
DeleteWoot! I hope I can find Chanel Broanzing Makeup Base at my TJ Maxx. It's my HG!
ReplyDeleteSide note: I saw that you require permission to use the content from this blog but does the same go for sharing a link? For future reference. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for asking! I LOVE link backs! :) No permission needed for those at all...i'm always incredibly honored when anyone links to one of my posts! :)
DeleteWhich tjmaxx did you go to? The one in Clairemont?
ReplyDeleteIf you're asking ME hun, this was a reader sighting and I don't believe she's in SD. :)
DeleteDoes anyone know of those Chanel bronzers are discontinued? Just wondering because if they are they might show up on websites like Hautelook. I am going to make a trip to the nearest TJ maxx in my area which is about 20 minutes away to see if I can get lucky. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just updated my post with links to these products and as of today,.NOT discontinued! They're still on the Chanel website. :)
DeleteAh, thanks. No Chanel at my TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I was sad because both stores had pretty much identical products in stock, and the selection was not very good. I don't know if it's just the area I live in or what, because the Big Lots in my area never has good stuff either. I was hoping to find that The Balm kit or anything similar at Marshalls. Last time I went to Marshalls they had a bunch of The Balm stuff, nothing I wanted, but I was thinking if I waited long enough they would get better inventory. This time they had nothing. :-( I was able to pick up a six pack of LA colors polishes from TJ Maxx and some Jessica nail polishes from Marshalls. I have been wanting to try Jessica polishes, so that was something at least. lol. Oh and both TJ Maxx and Marshalls had some ELF lotion wipes? I have no idea what lotion wipes are but I grabbed one of those to try.
DeleteSame I went to 2 TJMaxx stores today and no chanel or ysl at all. Asked the managers in both stores and they knew nothing about them selling those brands. I did spot a estee lauder brush set and lancome eye cream but thats it. So sad I've been want the chanel bronzer forever!
DeleteI work at Marshalls here in TN and decided to go visit TJMaxx today, since I'd stopped by the other day and they had some great beauty products. I saw Guerlain and YSL and about died. I ran across the street to the mall and checked shades and came back to snatch the YSL eyeshadow quad. It was shade 19 as others have mentioned, with a mauvey-pink, a slightly-pink whitish, a greyish taupe (pretty!) and a darker brown. Neutral and WORTH IT.
ReplyDeleteThe Guerlain was a powder/blush combo (I didn't see what shades) and the Parure de Nuit shimmer powder. I also saw Clarins products - a triple-function (eye/lip/cheek) cream in a cute little compact, two shades, Lichee and Apricot (which I also checked and it is a slightly darker, red-toned orange); and a Longwearing Moisturizing Lipstick in Cupid Red, a nice basic blue-red. The lipstick was $6.99 and I think the cream product was $9.99, but I could be wrong on the latter.
Finally, when I was there the other day, I saw a few Korres eyeshadow quads for $7.99. There were a neutral and a purple palette, and maybe another one. I also spotted Pacifica and Andalou Naturals body products, under $9.99!
How much was the YSL quad? I'm in NC and hope it shows up in stores here.
DeleteI also saw earlier this week Guerlain lipstick in #170 for $19.99.
DeleteCaroline: thanks for all the great, detailed info! I just updated my post. :)
DeleteRebecca: I just updated this post with prices!
Maureen: thank you so much!! Just updated. :)
La la la la la la la la TJ Maxx! Spotted Guerlain at my local TJ Maxx as well. I'm going to have to check other locations tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much for the great info you left on the you tell me page!!,I updated this post with your info! :)
DeleteBummmer, I was in TJ Maxx just a few days ago and didn't see any Chanel, YSL, or Guerlain.. I will check back soon. The YSL quad does retail for $48, so I'm curious what their price was for it. I did see the Korres shadows, but they're not as pigmented as I'd like.
ReplyDeleteJust updated this post with prices! :)
DeleteI would simply die if I found Chanel at TJ Maxx! I bought the bronzer at a Chanel boutique several years ago and loved it. This so exciting!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you, hun! Hope you find them! :)
DeleteCHANELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL I just died. I need to check out my local ones, though normally they have nothing. The stuff from theBalm that they had was all damaged A LOT. I'm glad these are in cases
ReplyDeleteSounds like I lucked out with The Balm...none of the kits at my store were opened...all safety seals were intact!
Deleteim in mass went friday didn't see anything
ReplyDeleteYay I'm checking this out tomorrow in NYC!!
ReplyDeleteThe palette looks nice !!! And the korres too! I <3 korres!!
WOW!! I think I know where I am going next! LOL
ReplyDeleteabout ten assorted pale pink essie nail polish at Marshals today. I think they were $3.99 each.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to share: Checked two TJ Maxxes and 1 Marshalls in the Greater Boston Area for the Chanel, YSL and Guerlain products. No lucky yet. If anyone is looking in Boston, keep us updated if you find anything!
ReplyDeleteCaroline from Marshalls again: Something to keep in mind is that the company buyers make purchases and they are packed and distributed to various locations seemingly randomly (I'm sure it's not though). No two stores will have the same exact stock. It also depends on regions (such as affluence of the area) and when they get their shipments in. We had a return of a Fendi purse from an Atlanta store - we don't get those here! My store is fairly large and we get trucks Monday/Wednesday/Friday. But we have no clue whatsoever what on earth we might get in a shipment ahead of time and we don't know until we unpack the boxes. My advice is to keep checking - if the buyers have opened negotiations with a brand then it's possible we'll get more. Ask your store when the trucks come in and then visit on those days, allowing a couple hours or so to get the items on the floor. And obviously weekends are a bad time to look in general - far too busy.
ReplyDeleteI can confirm the essie polishes came in. We got quite a few, all for $3.99. I grabbed Looking for Love and Antique Rose, but I also saw Anniversary Gala, Too Too Hot, Wicked(?), Braziliant, Pink Petal(?) and others. Also essie hand lotions in fun scents - $4.99 I think.
Another thing I forgot to mention, a few of The Body Shop products at TJMaxx - I snagged the $15 Hemp Intensive Hand Butter for $2.99 (I love it) and the Wild Rose Caring Hand Wash ("softening" soap-free handwash, smells lovely) for $3.99.
I purchased the Pretty Woman nail foil kit and it was a huge dud! Just wanted to share this with you all so you do not waste your money on it. Wish I had seen the designer cosmetics at the Ross I visited!
ReplyDeleteI fouund some Color Club (not sure collection) set and the OPI Texas mini with 4 colors at mine in Michigan.
ReplyDeletei bought Sally Hansen tweezers at Marshalls for under $3, then went next door to Ulta and they were $13, on sale! discount stores are amazing for beauty products C:
ReplyDeleteKorres Sunflower & Evening Primrose Eyeshadow Quad in Warm, spotted in TJMaxx in a not-local-to-a-major-city store in Maryland.
ReplyDeleteThat stamping kit was a steal but a total flop! It didn't even work! I got so frustrated I think I almost cried, lol. I was determined not to let that stamper get the best of me but, alas it's just in my nail kit, gathering "dust".
